The Bull Hotel is a historic wedding venue in Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Combining rustic 17th-century architecture with stunning contemporary interiors, this four-star hotel is perfect for stylish weddings and intimate gatherings. Its close proximity to Heathrow Airport and the M1 and M4 motorway network makes it easily accessible to guests travelling from near and far.
Facilities and Capacity
You and your partner can choose from four beautifully refurbished event suites to host your wedding at the Bull Hotel. The venue is licenced for civil ceremonies of up to 130 guests and follows a one-wedding-per day policy, meaning the place is yours for the big day. If you are having a large celebration, the Thames Suite is available for a reception of 220 people. This bright and airy room has its own private bar area and leads to an outdoor terrace. Alternatively, the Bulstrode and Chalfont Suites are also available for your ceremony, wedding breakfast or evening reception. Both of these rooms feature large windows that offer exquisite views of the landscaped gardens. The Buckingham Suite, with its unique atrium roof and elegant lighting, is available too for smaller groups.
Services Offered
The staff at the Bull Hotel will be happy to assist you with planning the wedding day of your dreams. When making your arrangements, you can work with a designated event coordinator to finalise all the details. Custom and all-inclusive packages are available to suit your unique needs and budget. Guests can stay overnight in one of the hotel's 150 comfortable bedrooms. For your convenience, parking and changing rooms are also available.
Cuisine
The Bull Hotel offers quality in-house catering run by professional and experienced chefs. With their help, you can arrange everything from a three-course banquet to a relaxed wedding buffet. If you want to dine al fresco, the team can set up a barbecue or roast meat on a spit for a rustic feel. They also use home-grown herbs and garnishes grown in the hotel's gardens to add a flavoursome flourish to every meal.

Best venue with the best service!
We had the most incredible wedding at The Bull Hotel and truly couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day. From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless, joyful, and full of warmth – and so much of that is thanks to the exceptional team behind the scenes.
The venue itself is absolutely stunning – full of character, charm, and elegance. It provided the perfect backdrop for our celebrations, and so many of our guests commented on how beautiful and inviting it was. But what truly sets The Bull apart is the outstanding service – it goes beyond anything we ever expected.
Georgia was nothing short of amazing. From the very beginning, she made us feel completely at ease – so organised, thoughtful, and attentive to every detail. She took the time to understand what was important to us and ensured everything was executed perfectly. Her calm and reassuring presence on the day gave us complete peace of mind, and we were able to fully enjoy ourselves knowing everything was in her capable hands.
We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to Daniel, Reka, and Alex, who were absolutely brilliant throughout the day. Their professionalism, kindness, and care for us and our guests did not go unnoticed – they anticipated needs before we even had to ask and made everyone feel so well looked after. The level of service we received was truly exceptional – warm, discreet, and so genuinely thoughtful.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that combines beauty, impeccable service, and a truly personal touch, we honestly can’t recommend The Bull Hotel highly enough. It was everything we dreamed of and more – a day we will cherish forever.

A superb wedding venue!
From the moment we visited and then booked our wedding, the service they offered was fantastic.
Our wedding coordinator Georgia was exceptional. Any question we asked, or any advice she could give us was a fantastic help and support. We said to her on the wedding day she was a 15 out of 10, and we meant every single word. We could not speak highly enough of her.
The hotel, right from the rooms, to the food, to the staff, to the decor was incredible. There was absolutely nothing we could criticise, or even give any slight negatives about.
The attention to detail on all matters, was faultless.
All of the food including the canapies and for the wedding breakfast were all exceptional. Every single course was perfect. Even the wine and prosecco provided was great (and this comes from two not real wine drinkers).
The ceremony room and reception room had all of our choices and decisions followed perfectly.
The bridal suite was a fantastic room, and we will not spoil the surprises, but some extra touches they put in our room were a fantastic suprise that we will cherish.
Even staying at the venue the night before the wedding (we never stayed at the hotel before) was a great experience.
In conclusion, the whole process from day one to the wedding day was a pleasure.

Our Dream wedding at the Bull Hotel
The ceremony was a vision I’ll never be able to forget on how beautiful everything was placed and the little things weren’t forgotten about .
The vibes afterwards was exactly what we wanted being filled with love and laughter . The food and drinks were to a high standard and everyone commented on how nice it all was.
Georgia had everything in hand and I felt so clam the morning of and any worries she took on board and dealt with without myself or my husband to worry about .
The bull hotel overall ticked the boxes for us as a whole day ceremony to party ,this is something that’s made the hotel a special place on our hearts and we will be revisiting every anniversary .
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts our wedding is a milestone we’re never forget .

Georgia our wedding co-ordinator was excellent. She is very knowledgeable and made suggestions and asked the right questions to help us from day 1 plan the prefect wedding for us.
On the day itself we were able to just relax and enjoy our day as Georgia and her team ran the event from start to finish smoothly.

I can't fault a single thing about the whole experience.
The communication was incredible, fast responses and very informative. The team at The Bull are top tier, they're all so lovely and accommodating!
Every meeting we had prior to the wedding were great, we left everytime so excited.
Big thanks to Georgia, Daniel and Kasha who made our day so perfect.
The rooms we used for our ceremony and reception were absolutely gorgeous! We were absolutely obsessed with the gardens, they looked magical at night. The bridal suite was huge and so stunning!
All our guests were obsessed with the venue, food and their rooms.
