From the very first moment Foxhills entered our lives, it felt like stepping into something truly magical.

I still remember the exact moment it began. I had just emailed Cheyenne, and we were driving up to Foxhills for our first meeting. Halfway up the driveway, I made my fiancé pull over because I was convinced I must have done the maths wrong. There was simply no way somewhere so breathtaking, so elegant, so completely unforgettable could possibly be within reach for us - and we hadn’t even reached the top. I knew I couldn’t allow myself to fall any more in love with it if it turned out to be unachievable, as it already felt too perfect to be real.

With hesitation, we drove on, and it didn’t just meet our expectations, it completely surpassed them.

The Orangery, glowing with sunlight, effortlessly romantic and impossibly beautiful, instantly became the perfect setting for both our ceremony and our intimate wedding breakfast. It was everything I had ever dreamed of and more. Every single moment spent in that space felt warm, personal and completely magical, like it had been made for us, and that was even before the stunning renovation (back when it still had that slightly dated cream leather bench!).

The moment we met Cheyenne and Lydia, any nerves we had simply melted away. They were personable, funny and genuine, and just real people who clearly cared deeply about what they do. There were no hidden costs, no agendas and no pressure - just honesty, excitement and a shared vision of making our day special. Not only was everything transparent, but they were also incredibly generous, offering thoughtful extras like place settings, wedding signs and linen tablecloths that other venues either charge for or don’t provide at all. When I ended up choosing to source some of my own pieces, that was embraced just as warmly. They truly wanted the day to be perfect for us, whatever that looked like.


My now husband is not the gushy type in the slightest, but even he was completely lost for words. That alone says everything - Foxhills has a way of leaving even the most reserved people in awe, although the golf course may have played a part.


Of course, like any wedding, there were a couple of moments of miscommunication along the way. There were times of doubt, a few tears and moments where the process didn’t feel as smooth as we’d hoped. But what truly sets Foxhills apart is how those moments were handled. We were met with professionalism, care and genuine attentiveness at every turn. Despite having a smaller, more intimate wedding, we were made to feel just as important as any larger celebration. We had meetings with senior team members, the lead project manager of the renovation and even the managing director, whom we had the pleasure of meeting several times during our visits. That level of accessibility and care made this family-owned business feel incredibly personal, like every single guest truly matters.

The attention to detail throughout the entire process was nothing short of incredible. On the day itself, Cheyenne was an absolute angel. She quite literally took all the stress away. At one point she was even sitting on the floor fixing my dress, while organising and coordinating everything seamlessly behind the scenes. Because of her, and the entire team, my husband and I were able to fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the day, knowing every tiny detail was being handled with care.

Every single one of our guests commented on how stunning everything was, the grounds, the rooms, the facilities and the food, all of it. The food alone deserves its own separate review because of the quality, creativity and sheer deliciousness, which goes far beyond what you’d normally expect from wedding dining.

Some of our guests even had the chance to casually meet the owner, who clearly takes a hands on approach and is often present, ensuring every guest’s experience is exceptional. Whether you are a member or visiting for a once in a lifetime event, you feel valued, seen and genuinely welcomed.

I grew up as a Disney girl, always dreaming of being a princess and believing that “dreams are a wish your heart makes”, and somehow Foxhills made my dreams come true. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, I felt like I was living in my own little “bibbidi bobbidi” bubble. It was pure magic.

There truly aren’t enough words to express how grateful I am to everyone. From the wait staff and reception team, to the chef, Kelly, the operations team (a special thank you again to Alan for stepping in at the last second), the wedding and events team and right up to the very top, every single person played a part in making our day unforgettable.

On your wedding day, you are supposed to feel like the most important people in the world, and Foxhills did not just achieve that, they exceeded it in every possible way.

They will forever be the reason our wedding day was completely, utterly magical and so will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

We had our dream wedding day thank you to Cheyenne and all the wonderful staff at Foxhills for making our day one we will never forget!

We got married at Foxhills on 18.10.25 and honestly couldn't have asked for a better day. I was initially worried when our original wedding co-ordinator left with 6 months to go, but I needed have been. The new wedding co-ordinator Cheyenne went above and beyond for us. She replied to emails quickly, took her time explaining everything and nothing was too much trouble.

The actual day was faultless. The staff, in particular Georgia (the operations manager) were so friendly, efficient and militant in their organisation of everything, we just knew we were in safe hands. From the run up the day before, to the concierges helping us with taking decorations in the golf buggies, they couldn't have been kinder or friendlier.

All our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was from the Orangery where we had our ceremony, to the Clubhouse where we held our reception. Special thanks to Nigel our amazing toastmaster who made the day so much better. Any little hitch (none of which was their fault, but ours!) was dealt with seamlessly.

The next morning, we made the most of the facilities with the other guests; swimming, children's soft play and the delicious cooked breakfasts.

We will definitely be back for our first anniversary and hopefully for years to come. Thank you Foxhills!

We recently celebrated our wedding at Foxhills Country Club in Chertsey, and it couldn't have been more perfect. From the very beginning, the service was outstanding - the whole team worked tirelessly to make sure everything ran smoothly and all of our guests were looked after.

A special mention has to go to Cheyenne and Georgia, who went above and beyond to make the day truly unforgettable.

Their support, kindness, and attention to detail made such a difference, and we are so grateful.
The food and drinks were exceptional - beautifully presented, full of flavour, and enjoyed by all of our guests. We received so many compliments about both the menu and the service throughout the day.

Even though it rained, the team at Foxhills ensured everything still felt magical. The indoor spaces were set up so beautifully that we hardly noticed the weather, and the atmosphere remained warm, elegant, and full of joy.
The venue itself is stunning, with elegant interiors and picturesque grounds that created the perfect backdrop to our celebration and photographs. It struck the ideal balance between luxury and comfort, making everyone feel at home.

Foxhills truly exceeded all of our expectations. We couldn't have asked for a better venue or team to help us celebrate such a special day. We will always look back on our wedding here with the happiest memories, and we would recommend it without hesitation.

From start to finish, the wedding team at Foxhills were so attentive and perfect. They were so flexible with my requests and so open to giving advice when needed.
We also found the cost was fair compared to other venues in Surrey and we found that Foxhills came with more “added extras” too.

We were lucky enough to get married outside, and even cut our cake after the ceremony on the manor lawn. I can’t recommend that enough as the backdrop of the house was BEAUTIFUL for the photos.
The team cut up our cake and made sure we got the first bits of cake (a lovely treat that made us feel extra special).

We made our way over to the Clubhouse for our dinner which was served the same as our tasting a few weeks earlier. The food was delicious!
After the food and speeches, we headed into the party and the team were fab! The bar was never too busy as they were quick to serve too.

PRO - dance floor is separate to the table space so no need to wait around to clear down the space.

Overall, Foxhills was perfect for us and the locations around the land for the photos were just *chefs kiss*. The side of the suite rooms is such a lovely location for photos and the red doors were so pretty for pictures.

Everyone who was involved in our wedding at Foxhills was brilliant.

Cheyenne, the wedding co ordinator was so great to work with, very experienced and such a lovely energy.

The team involved in the service overall were amazing. From Louis greeting me and all our guests at the front door to Alan and his team with us in the Orangery through out the evening.

Our toastmaster Nigel was so lovely and a brilliant personality to have guide us through the evening.

Our vendors were recommended by Foxhills and did not fail to deliver. The photographer, the florist and the cake designer all worked in harmony with everyone at the venue to create a beautiful day and lots of special memories.

We had the best experience ever, from location to staff to atmosphere. Everyone from Foxhill's went above and beyond to make sure we have the best day ever. If we could repeat our special day, we would choose Foxhill's every day again.
Angie, the wedding coordinator, was just outstanding. Nigel, the toastmaster, was just the best moderator to bring live to the special day. Luis and his team for catering made every wish come true.

Had an absolutely amazing wedding at Foxhills Hotel and Country Club, Ottershaw in September - the staff, venue and food were brilliant. The sit down wedding breakfast for 80+ people was fabulous, unbelievable and couldn't have been any nicer given such a large sitting. From wedding organisation to the execution on the day couldnt have been any smoother - or more fun!

We couldn't have been happier with Angie and Foxhills!
The day went exactly as it was planned, from beginning to end, and that is all thanks to Angie and her detailed oriented personality.
She was always available for me during the wedding planning process. All my emails were quickly responded to, and all my requests were acknowledged.
Angie managed to get us a specific beer that was not part of the usual menu, and this was important to us. This was one of the many examples of her professional and kind approach. It is honestly such a pleasure to work with someone you can truly rely on.
We had discussions about where the cake should be presented until the very last evening before the wedding... and once again Angie to the rescue! Even though the operations team had not been able to provide a specific type of table to present the wedding cake, Angie took it upon herself to find this for us.
She was also very patient with my now husband and his requests and questions. He had not been involved in the thousand emails that Angie and I exchanged. So when the three of us met up to go through all details, she gracefully responded to his questions (on topics that had already been agreed on by the two of us already...).
All in all, Foxhills is a great venue. Incredible for pictures, wonderful food, stunning setting... guests were truly delighted. But the actual service is what did it to me. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Dan and I cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement during the lead-up to and on the day of our wedding.

After many meetings and phone calls, Dan and I knew that we had the best team behind us. You made everything run smoothly and effortlessly; nothing was too much trouble.

Our day was perfect, the venue was spectacular, and the team was incredible!

All of our guests have said how amazing the venue was, as well as the food and staff, and we couldn’t agree more.

Dan and I had the time of our life and would do it all over again in a heartbeat; we cannot recommend Foxhills enough; we will be back to celebrate our first year anniversary as a married couple.

The most important thing if you go away is a good night’s sleep and Foxhills failed miserably here and with the way they dealt with our issues as bride and groom and our guests. They only have THREE rooms that have air-con out of many rooms! The night before our wedding was 26 degrees so was before the unprecedented heatwave.

Our wedding to put it in context was around £10k - we chose the BBQ as wanted it to be more informal and to be able to invite more people to the WHOLE day and not choose who came in the evening. This worked very well especially as we had glorious weather and I cannot knock the food/chef/waiting staff.

Under staffed bar in manor hotel the night before - there was a wake and they just didn’t seem geared up for this. Groom witnessed rude staff serving one of the guests. Clubhouse bar was fine on our wedding night though.

The groom and his best men + wives and various family members stayed there the night before as from played golf with 15 others and some stayed 3 nights. So a total of approximately 8 rooms the night before and many more on the night of the wedding. So many £££’s we are talking about spent at this hotel.

Groom and best man were put in rooms the night before with no air-con. Temperature was around 27-28c/82-83f so fairly average temperature for British summer. The groom had ZERO sleep the night before in our £220 executive room! Nor did his best man and wife.

Then they had to contend with 40 degree heat the day of the wedding trying to get ready so both asked to move rooms. In addition the groom’s mum who is 83 and has Parkinson’s is unable to use the shower in her “accessible” room as it has shower over bath 🤷🏻‍♀️. She didn’t tell anyone the night before as didn’t want to be a nuisance and do groom had to spend his morning sorting out room and his mum’s out in addition to sweating buckets 🥵

Reception’s response to the complaint by the best man’s wife when they were told the room was too hot and to come and see for themselves was “we know but we’re at capacity and can’t move you”! Poor things had to suck it up for 2 nights and have had a small discount off the cost of their room! I obviously called to demand a new room as no way was I swapping with his mum when I’d paid for an executive room. If we’d not been moved I’d have happily stayed in a standard room! The honeymoon suite is not included if you go for anything other than the wedding breakfast package but we assumed we’d be OK in a £220 executive room as I just needed a bed to sleep in.

We’ve been offered a free stay but would only consider it in winter. But with Premier Inn a good nights sleep is guaranteed and it’s a fraction of the price!

My 18 year old son and girlfriend stayed in a standard room and tried to get into the spa before the 11am cut off (I wanted to see him as he’d been away in Spain so I only saw him morning of wedding for first time and needed a catch up so we were waiting for them in the spa). They were refused entry even though she’d just spent £45 on a swimming costume. Been offered a complimentary upgrade and access to facilities until 4pm after check out if they stay there again. When and why would they ever pay for another room to be treated like that again??

Foxhills is beautiful and my wedding pics are stunning but there are a few essentials for a bride and groom spending £10k and booking many rooms. A good night’s sleep and a bit of empathy would not go amiss.

We held our micro wedding at Foxhills earlier this month and I would highly recommend them as a wedding venue!

With news of Surrey going into tier 3, we asked Foxhills if it would be possible for them to bring our wedding 2 days forward so we could still enjoy a lunch after our ceremony, as planned. Within a couple of hours, they had come back to us and made sure everything was arranged for our wedding to go ahead the next working day. You would have never have known that the wedding was pulled forward. The whole team did a fantastic job to make sure we had the most special day. The venue is absolutely gorgeous for photos, the staff are fantastic and can't do enough and the food was absolutely delicious. Thank you Foxhills for helping to provide lovely memories of our wedding day. Everything went perfectly!

From the start to the big day they couldnt have done more for us. The venue is so beautiful and amazing. Jasmine who is Foxhills wedding Co-ordinator was so helpful, she helped us so much on the lead up to the wedding and made sure everything was in place and well organised on the big day for us, cant thank her enough! Foxhills was a superb location to get married and they far exceeded our expectations.

The wedding packages at Foxhills mean that most of the details are taken care of for you. I found this to be such a relief as there are enough other details to be thinking about! Jasmine and her team went above and beyond to ensure that everything was taken care of but also to ensure that all of our specific requests were met and that our wedding was personal to us and reflected us well.

The team at Foxhills are the ultimate professionals and our day couldn't have run better. Despite a few challenges (such as rain most of the day!) they calmly and capably ensured the day was a success. Alex and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and best of all our guests had a wonderful day.

Our guests commented on how brilliant the team at Foxhills were, how smoothly the day ran and how much they enjoyed the beautiful facilities and lovely setting. But most of all people commented on the delicious food! So many people said it was the best meal they had had in a long time and by far the best at a wedding.

Foxhills really is the perfect place to get married. They can cater for large groups (we had 160 sit down) with ease and excellence, the food is exceptional, the service professional yet personal and the facilities and grounds create the backdrop for a beautiful and special day. And I can say with confidence it is perfect in all weather! Foxhills made every effort to make our day special and we hold many happy memories as do our guests, which means the world to us.
