Over the years, I’ve created many ceremonies, each one inspired by the unique stories couples share with me. Your wedding day matters deeply to you, and it matters just as much to me. I’m here to support your decisions, offer ideas, and help you weave in the little touches that make your ceremony unmistakably yours. My couples often tell me how much they value the way we work together; they like my organisation and calm and professional personna, and like that I have a sense of humour!
For my part, I love discovering how others see you, and hearing your choice of readings that reflect your love. No two stories are the same. Ultimately, I love shaping a ceremony that honours you both as individuals and as a partnership.
I have a writing style which seamlessly brings together all the strands of your journey with gentle humour. My background as an opera singer, radio presenter, author, and teacher brings a calm professionalism and believe me, over the years, I have managed most scenarios!
One of my favourite moments is hearing couples speak their personalised vows; your voices, literally and figuratively. I offer guidance on writing and delivering them, and I’m always happy to coach you so that the moment feels natural and gives you confidence.

Our story, magical special day.
My husband and I aren’t centre of attention people, funny us getting married and we had quite a lot of people at the wedding! Janet made things super easy and less nerve wrecking by sending us a simple questionnaire which we filled out to help her understand our story which she compiled into a beautiful ceremony.
On the day of the ceremony was heartwarming and personal and Janet even added a story that she had asked if we wouldnt mind her adding at the end, we surprisingly related to this story really personally (Dino arms - if you remember Janet haha!).
We had so many of our guests say how wonderful Janet was with putting our love and story into words. We were so overjoyed with Janet and are grateful that she was able to give us a forever memory on the best day of our lives. Thank you so much Janet and we would recommend you to anyone who is getting married!!
Would highly recomend to anyone on the look out for a celebrant
She held back a few details, so we enjoyed some really sweet surprises on the day, which we loved (though if you’d prefer all the information upfront, she’s happy to share it). Janet was a joy on the day, and the ceremony went beautifully. We’ve received so many compliments, with guests saying it was the most personal ceremony they’d ever attended.
We would recommend Janet in a heartbeat. She’s amazing, and we hope you have her on your special day too!
Absolutely Incredible
Janet made our ceremony fun and personal, and we would have been lost without her leading the way in our hymn. She went above and beyond; we had briefly met the composer who wrote the song I walked down the aisle to in an airport, and Janet even managed to get a beautiful message from him. Janet also helped us write our vows and my husband’s speech, which made the day even more special. We feel so lucky to have had Janet lead our day and would highly recommend her. She was wonderful and made our day perfect.
