What is the capacity at Trunkwell House?

Trunkwell House can accommodate weddings of up to 350 guests in the marquee, depending on your layout and requirements. For smaller celebrations, the Willow Room and private dining spaces offer options for more intimate weddings and ceremonies.

Do you get exclusive use of the venue?

Yes, Trunkwell House offers exclusive hire, giving you and your guests the freedom to enjoy your wedding in your own private setting. With the country house, marquee, gardens and outdoor spaces, there is room to host your ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast and evening celebrations in one location.

What wedding packages are available?

We offer a choice of wedding packages, with the option to tailor arrangements to suit your plans, preferences and budget. If you would prefer something more personal, our bespoke wedding packages allow you to build your day around what matters most to you.

Dry hire is also available for couples who would like greater flexibility over how their wedding is organised. Our team can discuss the options with you and help you find the right approach for your celebration.

Is there a wedding coordinator to help with the planning?

Yes, you will have a dedicated wedding coordinator, who will be your main point of contact throughout your wedding planning journey. From your initial arrangements through to the final details, Sophie will be on hand to answer questions, offer advice and help you bring your plans together.

Having a consistent point of contact means you have someone who understands your plans and can help keep everything organised in the run-up to your wedding.

Does Trunkwell House have a bridal suite and accommodation?

Yes. Trunkwell House has a newly renovated bridal studio and suite, providing a dedicated space to get ready on the morning of your wedding. The bridal studio features natural light, hanging rails and dedicated hair and make-up stations.

The honeymoon suite is included for the night of your wedding. There are also five additional bedrooms available to rent for guests, with the allocation of these rooms left to the discretion of the couple.

Additionally, we have partnerships with local hotels nearby the venue, which can offer you a discounted rate.

Is there parking at Trunkwell House?

There is ample on-site parking for over 180 cars, making it convenient for guests travelling to your wedding by car. We are situated about 10 minutes from Junction 11 off the M4, with Reading train station around a 20 minute drive away, and Mortimer train station a 5 minute drive away.
