From first enquiry at Cottesmore when we got engaged in 2021 through to the day itself in 2024, we cannot fault Cottesmore for their exceptional service. Julie and Jackie are an absolute credit to the venue and were helpful beyond belief. They answered everyone of our questions via email promptly and nothing was ever too much trouble. We had viewings with them around the venue on multiple occassions to help see how our wedding would come together, which was immensly helpful in the planning stages. The staff we had at our wedding menu tasting were so professional and welcoming, that we actually requested if they could work on the day of our wedding. Which they did and it was so great to see them there! The menu tasting itself was excellent, every dish beautifully presented and incredibly delicious. The meeting with Julie a few months before the day to discuss every element was extremely helpful. It allowed us to make sure we had covered all areas and that the venue knew everything we would like to happen and to be at our wedding. This extra layer of communication really put our minds at rest that our wedding was in the safest of hands. On the day every member of staff our guests and ourselves met were so impressed with their professionalism and kindness. We had so many guests telling us how impressed they were with the venue. Setting up on the morning of the wedding and the evening before was simple and easy, the venue allowing us to get on and get access to all areas we required around any other events happening there at the time. The hotel on site is such an added bonus and the staff in the Accommodations team were extremely helpful when trying to book in our guests. Being able to stay onsite and have everything we needed there kept the stress of planning to a minimum. They were super helpful with accommodating outside suppliers, such as the hiring of outdoor games and an ice cream tricycle in the courtyard. The venue itself is just beautiful, inside and out. With new improvements being added and made all the time to make it one of the best looking venues in West Sussex. It was the first one we viewed after we got engaged and there was nowhere else that we loved as much. It is excellent value for money and we actually spent less on the wedding overall than we had originally budgeted for! We really cannot fault Cottesmore and would reccommend them to any other couple looking for a high end wedding venue that covers all elements!Cottesmore Golf & Country Club's reply:

It is always so nice to hear that our couples feel that the communication they received was quick and helpful, we know that for some couples planning their big day can be stressful and if we can alleviate any of this, we have done our job!
Your wedding day was very special, the lawn looked beautiful and we were all blown away at how stunning you looked Lauren after having little Annabel just 3 weeks before!! You were so calm, not many couples would have managed to plan a wedding and have a new baby.
We are glad that you and your guests enjoyed taking advantage of our on-site accommodation, we hope that you enjoyed staying on in one of our lodges after your wedding.
We are also so pleased that you enjoyed the improvements we have made, our courtyard certainly makes a lovely setting for your drinks reception and the ice cream was a lovely addition.
It is very important that our couples feel that we offer good value for money and for you to mention that is just great.

Amazing wedding!
We recently got married and honestly just the most lovely perfect venue. We were blessed with great weather on our day too! All staff are amazing so friendly and this venue has the views, amazing scenery to get married outside or a lovely barn room to get married inside, just everything you need :) sad its over!Cottesmore Golf & Country Club's reply:

From the moment we visited the Cottesmore, we knew it would be perfect as our wedding venue.
The booking process was straightforward and communication with the events team always responsive. All our questions were answered and we figured out together how to make our day perfect.
The food, drinks and service all fantastic and really fun taking out a golf buggy!!

We loved having our wedding here! The events coordinators are fantastic and all of the team here are lovely and thoughtful which really made our day special. This beautiful venue has a relaxed and characterful ambience. You can choose to get married inside or outside, we chose inside and it was an outstanding venue. We loved riding on a buggy to the lake for private photos. The food was fantastic with amazing feedback from our guests. We love the courtyard for private pre and post wedding drinks where there are also the hotel rooms for the guests. Overall, we can't recommend this venue enough and hope many more couples enjoy their wedding here.Cottesmore Golf & Country Club's reply:

June wedding
We got married here in June and just have to say that Cottesmore is a stunning wedding venue. All the guests commented on how beautiful it was. Communication was amazing and quick replies to any queries. We stayed in the lodge the night before which was lovely, and then the bridal room which was spacious and the bathroom in there was gorgeous. The getting ready room is a great add on, which provided a good space to get ready. We chose to get married inside as we did not want to risk being outside if it were to rain. We loved the barn room and we are very happy we decided to have the wedding inside. The canopy outside is a great addition in case of rain, that was not there when we originally booked but it makes the courtyard look lovely, which you can see in the confetti photo.. The trip on the golf buggy to the lake was fun with gorgeous views. The food at the wedding breakfast was amazing. The chef kindly provided us the recipe for the sweet potato soup when I asked Jackie if we could have a copy. We wanted to have roast chicken instead of roast beef as we felt for our guests this would be the best option. Cottesmore were happy to do roast chicken instead, despite it not being a current option. The dishes were highly complimented by our guests. The reception room was spacious and it opens up so there is more room once the evening guests arrive. Cottesmore staff helped to make it a lovely day, and we are very happy we had our wedding here!Cottesmore Golf & Country Club's reply:

Our new covered area in the courtyard has really come in handy this year with our British summer weather, so we always have a wet weather plan and we were glad you got that all important confetti shot there.
Thank you for complimenting the food. Our chefs are amazing and we have lots of options to choose from but you are not the only couple to choose the Roast Chicken. It's not a problem at all to switch a few things round with the menu. We want everyone to have a lovely meal.

We fell in love with this venue the moment we saw it, the views are stunning and the hotel and reception area are beautifully set out and spacious. Jackie, Julie and their team were fantastic from day 1, they were so helpful and were always on hand for any questions or concerns we had without delay. Our day went without a hitch and the food was fantastic, our guests were so happy, some who had recently married themselves even said they wished they had found this venue! The staff were fantastic and helpful and attentive. We had an outdoor wedding which was so beautiful but it was a very hot day and they made sure all our guests were comfortable while they waited for the ceremony and not burning in the hot sun. Better than could ever imagine
Nothing was too much trouble - Jackie and Julie made this pretty major experience as relaxed as could be. We were reassured every step of the way, and Cottesmore were constantly making improvements to the venue over the two years it took for us to reach our big day. The transformation from what we booked, to what we experienced was second to none. The courtyard was a vision, even without the wisteria in full bloom!
I had always thought of this venue as “just my gym” yet got to walk down the most beautiful aisle and celebrate in such a gorgeous magical setting, I wouldn’t change it for the world!
All staff were incredible and attentive. Just needed more hours in the day to take it all in!
