Nichola Sent on 02/12/2025Review of Cottesmore Golf & Country Club - Wedding Venue
We had our perfect day on 22/11/25 at Cottesmore.
We chose to stay the night before with close family & friends which was lovely.
Jackie & Julie were great from our initial meeting until the end of our special day. They were great with communicating with us throughout & really knowledgeable & friendly.
Accommodation was lovely & having a balcony meant we could pop in & chat with our bridesmaids & friends which was so special.
All the food we had was lovely & bar staff & waiting staff were professional & genuinely looked happy for us!
The 'Getting Ready Room' was a lovely touch & again meant I could spend precious time with my bridesmaids before the service & friends could come & see me before the service for a little cry.
So many of our guests commented on how lovely the venue was & having the interconnecting doors for each of the three rooms was great - another big plus.
Cost-wise this venue was cheaper than others we had looked at & certainly delivered! We would both 100% recommend this venue for others.

You were both so relaxed throughout the whole process and this certainly came through on the day. You were both so happy and chilled and looked as if you were just enjoying every minute. Having your twin daughters as your bridesmaids must have been very special for you, again you were all so relaxed and looked stunning! ( as did you Keith, loved the yellow socks!!)
You also made our venue look so beautiful, a winter wedding is a little different to a mid summer wedding but your decor was spot on, the ceremony room looked very intimate and cosy and the reception rooms looked just beautiful.
We are so happy that you had the day that you had hoped and planned for and again it was a privilege to have been part of the journey with you.

Beautiful wedding day
We had the most amazing wedding day & night at Cottesmore. The food was absolutely exceptional and all of our guests agreed. The venue is absolutely stunning and there was nothing we could fault. A huge thank you to Jackie and Julie who helped to make our day so special, they are brilliant at what they do. They are very helpful and always responded very quickly to any queries we had. We had the best day at Cottesmore!
We don't know where to start! We had the best wedding day at Cottesmore thanks to the beautiful venue and the amazing staff. Everything went to plan and it was exactly how we had imagined.
Nothing was too much for everyone on the day and they made our guests feel so welcome.

From requesting a brochure to our wedding day Cottesmore were brilliant. They answered any and all questions we had and were great help. We couldn't of asked for a better day thanks to everyone there. We got married at our Church and came here for our reception and we were greeted with a very friendly welcome and the day went perfectly. We would highly recommend them to any couple.

Perfection from start to finish
We honestly cannot fault any part of our wedding experience at Cottesmore. From the first day we visited everyone has just been amazing. We dealt mainly with Julie throughout our planning but the wedding coordinators are so responsive and at all times it really feels like they care about making your special day perfect. This can be said for all of the staff at Cottesmore, everyone goes the extra mile. The organisation of the day was seamless and the venue itself is just gorgeous. It must be said that all our guests also throughly enjoyed the day and there has not been one bad word said about the venue, food, staff or the day itself everyone loved it! The perfect wedding venue 🤍
I was a June 2025 bride here at Cottesmore and I only have glowing feedback! We were wowed from our first viewing by the beautiful grounds and the brilliant organisation from events managers Jackie & Julie. The service we received from Jackie & Julie was incredible from start to finish, they were clear on the important bits and it always felt like they were excited with us. On the day, the team were seamless and I honestly can’t fault a thing. Our guests have been so complimentary of the venue and the staff which they met on the day. From start to finish we couldn't fault Cottesmore. The transparency surrounding costs and what was included within the packages was fantastic. The price is exceptional as is the level of service you receive from the Events team of Jackie and Julie. The communication from the Events team and the hotel team is spot on and they couldn't be more helpful if they tried.
The day itself was incredible and went by without a single hitch. The staff work so hard in the background to make sure the day flows perfectly and we can't speak highly enough of everyone involved. The venue looked phenomenal, the food was out of this world and we were made to feel so valued and appreciated. We are so glad we chose Cottesmore to host our special day and would recommend them to anyone in a heartbeat.
