Having already seen Colshaw hall advertised across Facebook and Instagram, I knew I wanted to get married there before I’d ever seen it in person. After spending hours trawling through many photographers images and reading through reviews, the more spectacular the venue looked in every weather. I knew I needed to see it person. Driving down the truly beautiful drive way, reaching the house, my first thought was, this is well out of budget :(. I was greeted by the team at the opening day who matched my excitement and were so enthusiastic. They were so attentive and so helpful with every question I had. After experiencing such a wonderful tour, I came away with a booklet and available dates… as I initially thought, the prices seemed out of budget until I began pricing up a wedding myself…. Not only would I have not had a wedding coordinator, toastmaster, incredible caterers, a breathtaking venue, accommodation for family and friends and multiple rooms to keep the party going in all weathers, the cost to do it myself plus the stress, the reality of planning and hosting a wedding made the price seem incredibly reasonable. The words “just turn up in your dress and we will do the rest” stuck with me.
The team at Colshaw made every element of planning so simple and stress free. They were always available on the phone and email and made every part enjoyable.
Shelley and Kirsty came to meet me on the morning of my wedding and walked me through every stage. The whole bridal party and guests were in awe of how well the wedding ran. There was never a moment of lost guests or awkward delays, everything just ran so smoothly. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

Flawless from start to finish!
We got married at Colshaw Hall on 25th October and the entire experience was nothing short of seamless. Every single person we interacted with went above and beyond for us, and I truly couldn’t recommend this venue more. The whole planning process was enjoyable thanks to the incredible team who made everything feel effortless.
From the very first day we stepped foot on the grounds and were shown around by the owner, David, we instantly knew it was the one for us. In fact, it was the only venue we ever viewed — and we wouldn’t have had it any other way. So many of our guests have since told us it’s the most beautiful venue they’ve ever been to, which just confirms what we already felt.
I genuinely wish we could relive the day over and over again. I didn’t have a single worry from start to finish, and that’s all down to the exceptional people who work at Colshaw Hall. It will forever hold such a special place in our hearts. -

Perfect day at the perfect venue
We got married at Colshaw Hall and I can honestly say it was flawless from the moment we arrived. The venue itself is breathtaking, every room, every corner, every detail feels luxurious and meticulously cared for. But what truly made the day unforgettable was the team.
Every single member of staff was incredible. They were calm, organised, and on top of absolutely everything without ever feeling intrusive. They kept our entire timeline running perfectly, not a single moment felt rushed or delayed. They guided us through the day with such confidence and warmth that we never had to worry about a thing.
Nothing was ever too much trouble. Any request, big or small, was handled instantly and with a smile. They made us feel looked after, supported, and genuinely celebrated. It’s rare to find a team that can blend professionalism with genuine heart, but Colshaw Hall absolutely nails it.
If you want a venue that looks stunning, runs seamlessly, and is backed by the best team you’ll ever meet, Colshaw Hall is it. They made our wedding day perfect and we’re still buzzing from it.

What a venue!
Colshaw Hall itself was a stunning venue and guests were saying how amazing the venue looked, I would say every 5 minutes of talking to someone. It was defiently was an amazing pick of anywhere in Cheshire or even the country. The staff was amazing, the attention to detail and they do try their best to make sure that everything goes the way you want to! Overall, the day went perfect and wouldn’t change a thing. Even the photos speak for themselves on how wonderful the venue is.Colshaw Hall's reply:

Georgia Sent on 13/10/2025The perfect wedding venue - even better than we’d dreamed!
From the very first moment I visited Colshaw Hall, I completely fell in love with it. I just knew it was where I wanted to get married. The venue is breathtaking, the building, the grounds, the décor - everything is picture-perfect and even more beautiful in person than in photos.
What truly made the experience unforgettable was the amazing team behind it all. Every single member of staff was so warm, welcoming, and attentive from start to finish. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them. They made us feel so supported throughout the planning process and on the day itself, everything ran seamlessly, exactly how I had envisioned it.
I have to give a special shoutout to Ian Brown, the toastmaster. He was absolutely fantastic - friendly, hilarious, and full of charm. He kept the day flowing perfectly and had all of our guests laughing and relaxed. So many people came up to us to say how brilliant he was!
The décor and setup on the day were everything I had pictured and more. Walking into the ceremony and reception rooms honestly felt like a dream come to life. We enjoyed every single minute of our wedding day, there was not one moment of stress, just pure happiness.
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that is stunning, impeccably organised, and run by people who genuinely care about making your day perfect, Colshaw Hall is the one. I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to choose it again. Truly a 10/10 experience!
