Having already seen Colshaw hall advertised across Facebook and Instagram, I knew I wanted to get married there before I’d ever seen it in person. After spending hours trawling through many photographers images and reading through reviews, the more spectacular the venue looked in every weather. I knew I needed to see it person. Driving down the truly beautiful drive way, reaching the house, my first thought was, this is well out of budget :(. I was greeted by the team at the opening day who matched my excitement and were so enthusiastic. They were so attentive and so helpful with every question I had. After experiencing such a wonderful tour, I came away with a booklet and available dates… as I initially thought, the prices seemed out of budget until I began pricing up a wedding myself…. Not only would I have not had a wedding coordinator, toastmaster, incredible caterers, a breathtaking venue, accommodation for family and friends and multiple rooms to keep the party going in all weathers, the cost to do it myself plus the stress, the reality of planning and hosting a wedding made the price seem incredibly reasonable. The words “just turn up in your dress and we will do the rest” stuck with me.
The team at Colshaw made every element of planning so simple and stress free. They were always available on the phone and email and made every part enjoyable.
Shelley and Kirsty came to meet me on the morning of my wedding and walked me through every stage. The whole bridal party and guests were in awe of how well the wedding ran. There was never a moment of lost guests or awkward delays, everything just ran so smoothly. They truly made my dream wedding come true. I couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

My husband and I heard about Colshaw Hall from a friend, and pretty much immediately after Stephen proposing we immediately went to view the venue. We were blown away by the beauty of the place and the friendly but professional attitude of the staff. We booked that day without viewing any other venues.
Over the two years planning I contacted them a number of times (mainly my Bridezilla stress) but nothing was too much trouble.
We stayed the night before the wedding too which was amazing. Special shout out to Sarah who was truly amazing over the two days we spent there.
On the day itself, everything ran perfectly. The communication between the team to ensure everything ran smoothly was impeccable. Another shout out to Kirsten who was our coordinator on the day.
We truly had the best day of our lives and couldn’t recommend Colshaw enough.

This venue was absolutely phenomenal! The staff truly made the day for us—from start to finish, they ensured everything was stress-free and ran incredibly smoothly. We absolutely adore Colshaw and would choose it again in a heartbeat. The entire day felt like a dream, and everything was just perfect. The photos speak for themselves—an absolutely amazing day we’ll treasure forever.
I honestly can’t wait to attend again, just any chance to visit the venue again we will be there! It was worth every single penny.

Breeze Wedding 10.05.25
Well, what can I say! Our wedding day was just perfect! All members of staff, were brilliant, attentive and stress free! The venue was dressed amazingly, without myself and my husband being pestered. The toast master was entertaining, and in a nutshell, just fabulous! I do not have a bad word to say about this venue ant all! Many of our guests commented on how beautiful the venue was and how brilliant all staff were. I would 100% recommend Colshaw Hall, it really was the most perfect wedding! Still on cloud 9, and I think we will be for a while! Thank you so much! Love the new Mr and Mrs Breeze! -

Had the most amazing time with Colshaw. From the minute we attended for a viewing, they were flexible and supportive, all the way through to the day itself. The staff were amazing, flexible, responsive and the day ran smoothly. I didn’t have to worry about anything! I turned up the night before and was able to relax knowing the venue sorted everything out. My vision came to life. -

It is such a big decision when deciding on which wedding venue to choose for your special day but as soon as we drove into the magnificent grounds of Colshaw Hall, we fell in love with it! From the start, Colshaw Hall were nothing short of exemplary - kind, organised, knowledgeable, passionate - all the staff work very well together to make a great team who are all entirely focused on making sure you have the perfect wedding day!
Onto the wedding day itself, wow! Our bridal party arrived into the stunning main hall to start the final preparations (slightly flustered and frantic due to the time running away from us!), as soon as we arrived all staff on duty put us at ease straight away and made me remember just how special this day was going to be. My heartfelt thanks goes to Sarah again who assisted me with a last minute broken nail as well as stoically taping me into my dress whilst reassuring the ceremony hall staff that we were on our way!!
From then on, the day is a blur of love, family, friends, flowers, happiness and pure joy. The ceremony was perfect, the wedding reception and canapés top class, the wedding breakfast absolutely gorgeous and catered for superbly, and the evening drinks and dancing unforgettable.
From both of us, we cannot recommend Colshaw Hall enough, if you want the most perfect of wedding days it is the place to go!! Thank you for everything, Rachel and Rob xxx -

We got married at Colshaw Hall on 18.04.25, and it was beyond perfect—truly a dream come to life. The venue is nothing short of breathtaking, with immaculate grounds, stunning interiors, and an atmosphere straight from a fairytale. But what truly sets Colshaw apart is the staff. They are next-level incredible—attentive, kind, and flawlessly professional. Every detail was executed with precision and genuine care. We felt so supported and special the entire day. Colshaw hall is an amazing venue, it looks great from the moment you enter the grounds.
Photos look fab inside and out and everyone commented on how stunning it is. The staff were so organised and helpful throughout the day and in the lead up to the wedding, and kept us calm and well informed! I would definitely recommend them to anyone and everyone!Colshaw Hall's reply:
