From the moment we first viewed Colshaw Hall we knew it was the venue for us. All of the house and grounds are open and spacious and kept immaculately. The option to provide luxury accommodation for up to 50 of our guests was a huge factor in selecting Colshaw Hall and it was lovely to be able to continue the celebrations with our guests the next morning at breakfast in the Orangerie. After we had booked we were continually supported throughout the months that followed and the process through to our wedding day was seamless. The wedding day itself was planned and coordinated to perfection by Kirsty, Ian and the rest of the team and it was clear how important it was to them that our day was perfect. I cannot recommend Colshaw Hall highly enough and only hope that we can return as guests to another wedding there in the future.Colshaw Hall's reply:

Abi & Greg- incredible day
Colshaw Hall was just the perfect wedding venue for us. It was such a fairytale day and it was everything we could have wished for and more.
Nothing was ever too much for the staff at Colshaw Hall and the day ran so smoothly thanks to everyone who was involved.
We decided to have a later ceremony and this worked so well for us. Everyone has said it is the BEST wedding they have ever been to.

Colshaw hall is amazing!
Colshaw hall is an absolutely stunning venue which speaks for itself. Above that the staff are so friendly, go above and beyond and know what they are doing. Our wedding co-ordinator was absolutely fantastic and nothing was too much for her. The whole place was spotless and everything ran so smoothly.Colshaw Hall's reply:

I really don’t know where to begin… from the moment we booked our wedding at Colshaw we have had nothing but continuous support, from recommendations, lists of what we need to do and guidance on how to plan the perfect day! Well what can I say our day was more than perfect!! From breakfast in the Bridal lodge, transport to the house, keeping me sane… nothing was too big or small for Alison and her team! They were always there to guide and support me and I can honestly say I don’t think I could have gotten through the day without their guidance, kindness and top ups of Prosecco ☺️. We couldn’t have asked for any more, we are so glad we went with our heart and booked Colshaw! Our day was just incredible and I wish we could do it all over again.
Also an extra special mention to Ian our toastmaster, he made us both feel so calm in the morning as we got ready and went above and beyond to include our little boy in every moment of our day. We can’t thank you enough!

The best day of my life
Our wedding at Colshaw Hall was nothing short of perfect, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a more magical place to celebrate such a special day. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, calm, and beautifully organised. The grounds are absolutely stunning and created the most breathtaking backdrop for our photos.
A special thank you to Allison, our incredible coordinator. She kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, ensuring that we could fully relax and enjoy every single moment. Nothing was too much trouble, and she handled everything with such calm confidence and kindness. Knowing she was there meant we didn’t have to worry about a thing – we could just soak up the joy of the day with our family and friends.
The staff at Colshaw Hall were also fantastic – attentive, friendly, and professional throughout. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the whole atmosphere felt warm and celebratory.
We honestly had the wedding of our dreams, and so much of that is thanks to Allison and the wonderful team at Colshaw Hall. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with exceptional coordination and service, we couldn’t recommend it more highly. It will always hold the most special place in our hearts.Colshaw Hall's reply:

Our wedding experience with Colshaw hall
The wedding venue at Colshaw Hall is nothing short of stunning. From the moment we arrived, everything was impeccably organised and ran so smoothly, which allowed us to truly relax and enjoy every moment of the day.
The staff were exceptional — incredibly helpful, attentive, and genuinely kind. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their level of care made us, and our entire bridal party, feel completely looked after from start to finish. Communication throughout the whole process was amazing, which took away so much stress in the lead-up to the wedding.
The bedrooms and lodges were comfortable, welcoming, and beautifully presented — a perfect retreat after such a special (and busy!) day. The atmosphere across the venue was fantastic, warm, and celebratory, creating exactly the feeling you hope for on your wedding day.
A special mention has to go to the toastmaster, who was absolutely brilliant — professional, engaging, and instrumental in keeping everything flowing seamlessly.
We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team. Colshaw Hall took such incredible care of us and our bridal party, and we will treasure the memories forever. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a truly special wedding experience.Colshaw Hall's reply:

Wow was our reaction when we first visited Colshaw Hall and from that point on we were absolutely sold that this would be the perfect place for the day of our dreams. Victoria, Allison and Sarah were all absolutely fantastic both in the lead up to our big day and then from the point we arrived the night before right through to the morning after. All of our guests have since commented on how special the venue was and we can only agree with them. Every single part of our wedding was perfect for us and we have some fantastic memories which will last a lifetime.Colshaw Hall's reply:

We got married at Colshaw Hall and it was exceptional.
Colshaw has that rare ability to feel genuinely luxurious without being stiff or intimidating. The Hall, the grounds, the layout, everything is beautiful, immaculate, and thoughtfully designed to actually work for a wedding day rather than just look good in photos (although it definitely does that too). Ours was a New Year's Eve wedding and Colshaw is just as spectacular in the winter as it is in the summer.
What really made the difference for us was the team. Calm, capable, organised and completely unflappable, exactly what you want when it matters. We felt supported, never rushed, and not like we were“one of many”.
A special mention has to go to Sarah, who went genuinely above and beyond on the day. She worked tirelessly and effortlessly even running around with smoke bombs in the cold to make sure our photographer Jonny Draper, got the perfect shot! She restocked fridges to get our giant fresh cream cake, that couldn't sit out for more than a couple of hours and co-ordinated last minute decor changes, shepherded errant bridesmaids and made things run like clockwork. She was the oil on everyones wheels and made a huge difference, and that photo... one of my absolute favourites. That level of care and collaboration really stood out.
Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the wedding, how stunning it was, how smoothly everything ran, and how well looked after they felt from start to finish. It really was spectacular.
If you’re looking for a venue that delivers beauty, professionalism, warmth and attention to detail, Colshaw Hall is outstanding. It gave us a day that felt effortless, joyful and genuinely special, and we wouldn’t change a thing.

Sarah kept everything running smoothly with gentle reassurance and quiet strength.

Ian Brown brought heart, humour, and ceremony to every moment — an unforgettable Toastmaster.
And the incredible housekeeping and grounds team — Janice, Keith, Henry, Kenneth, Jules, Angelo, and Jade — kept everything immaculate and looked after us with such kindness, even when my family were in full party mode.
Being shown around by David Irlam himself made the experience even more special. His love for his family home shines through every detail.
