Set amidst 60 acres of picturesque grounds, Brickwall House is a historic grade I listed countryside manor house located in Northiam, Rye, East Sussex, in South East of England. The manor house exudes traditional elegance, with interiors that draw inspiration from the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. The exterior celebrates the best of Tudor design and sets the tone for refined celebrations. The manicured gardens are curated in a classic style and provide the ideal backdrop for outdoor cocktail receptions and wedding photographs.
Facilities and Capacity
Brickwall House is a versatile venue that offers to-be-weds plenty of choice when it comes to planning their day in a unique fashion. To-be-weds are treated to exclusive use of the venue and country house for their big day. You can arrange a civil ceremony for up to 150 guests in the walled garden and south lawns garden or a celebrant led ceremony for 200 people in the topiary garden, walled garden and lawns or arboretum woodland. Alternatively, you can exchange vows in the drawing-room, our licensed ceremony room in the house for up to 90 guests seated. This historic space is characterized by gold-framed portraiture and vintage furnishings. Intimate dinners and micro weddings are also held in the drawing-room, where loved ones can enjoy a sumptuous seated meal enveloped by elegant and timeless decor. Receptions and wedding breakfasts for 200 friends and family members can also be arranged on the rear lawn, with a blank canvas marquee.
