Bredon Manor is an exclusive-use country house wedding venue near Tewkesbury and Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, on the edge of the Cotswolds. A Georgian family home with a stone wedding barn, gardens, cottages and heated outdoor pool, it offers couples somewhere to settle in and celebrate across a whole weekend.

The estate offers two settings for the wedding reception. The stone barn seats up to 80 guests for dinner, with space for 100 in the evening. For larger celebrations, a marquee on the front lawn accommodates up to 150 guests, with the Manor as its backdrop. Marquee hire is arranged separately.

St Giles’ Church stands immediately next door, connected to the gardens by a private gate, so couples and their guests can walk directly from the ceremony to the reception. Alternatively, couples can hold a celebrant-led blessing in the grounds or barn after completing their legal ceremony elsewhere. Bredon Manor is not licensed for civil ceremonies.

Accommodation makes it possible to keep close family and friends together. The Coach House and Manor House Lodge sleep eight guests on Friday and Saturday, with two Manor bedrooms bringing the included Saturday accommodation to 12. Additional bedrooms are available by arrangement, taking the total to 16.

Saturday weddings can be extended with an optional Friday welcome reception or Sunday celebration beside the pool. Resident guests have access to the pool and barn until 3pm on Sunday.

Napier, the estate’s exclusive caterer, creates menus ranging from relaxed sharing food to a full wedding breakfast. There is no corkage charge, and couples are free to choose their other suppliers. Venue coordination on Friday and Saturday helps bring the plans together, with owners Charlie and Peter offering a personal welcome to their family home.
