Bigstrup Farm is a rustic wedding venue located in Haddenham, Buckinghamshire. Ideal for couples who wish to say 'I do' in an intimate setting, this countryside gem is home to a vintage barn and a charming courtyard garden. You and your significant other are invited to indulge in your dream wedding at this rural getaway.

Venue: Includes access to our lovely 400-year-old tythe barn with a stage area, courtyard garden with a bar, meadow barn and surrounding fields. Previous weddings we have hosted have had drinks and canapes in the courtyard garden before moving into the meadow barn for the wedding breakfast (with a marquee inner lining which gives it the same atmosphere/feel as a marquee) and then having music and dancing in the tythe barn. We're more than happy to work with you on how best to use our space to fit your dream day.

Capacity: The meadow barn comfortably fits 140 guests for a sit-down meal.

Timings: Guests can arrive at the venue from 11 am on the day of your wedding. We ask that all music be stopped by 11 pm and guests leave by midnight.

Bar: We have a fully stocked pay bar, which will be available for service from 12 pm to 11 pm. Corkage will be charged if you wish to bring any of your own drinks.

Catering and suppliers: We're happy to recommend some of the caterers and suppliers who have served at weddings here in the past, but we have no restrictions on who you can use. We have an outbuilding available for caterers to use.

Accommodation: We don't have any on-site accommodation, but there are plenty of hotels and Airbnbs nearby. We'd be happy to share a list of recommendations.

Ceremonies: While we don't have a wedding license, we've had some lovely celebrant-led ceremonies both inside and outside at the farm. We'd be delighted to talk you through the options for this and recommend celebrants.

Garden games: We have some fantastic games that your guests can enjoy in our garden, including Aunt Sally, Corn Hole and Jenga.

Before the event: We're serious about providing a unique setting for a wedding that you can truly make your own. We allow you access to the venue the day before your wedding, so you can do just that.

The next day: We offer the option to book the venue the next day from 12 pm to 6 pm at a discounted rate. This gives you the perfect opportunity to reminisce with your guests on the day before and say goodbye before your honeymoon.

Prices: Our venue hire is a fixed fee for the wedding day from 11 am - 12 pm. This includes access to the venue a day prior to the event, a fully stocked pay bar with bar staff, a fully furnished meadow barn with tables and chairs for the wedding breakfast, and garden games. We're happy to help you with recommendations for caterers/entertainment you would like on the day.

Our venue hire for the day after your wedding covers from 12 pm - 6 pm. This includes access to the venue and a fully stocked pay bar with bar staff.
