The bickley itself was perfect. The food, the rooms, the staff, everything. I have not a single fault to say. It was closed to the public for us and we had all the rooms the night before our wedding the night of the wedding making it more easy and relaxed for family and friends. The staff were responsive, ano helpful, nice and just all round fab. The value for money was the most stand out factor for us. We recently got married at Bickley Mill and did a relaxed Sunday package, we didn’t want anything to formal and it was perfect for what we wanted. We were so lucky with the weather which meant we got to have an outside ceremony which was beautiful and required minimal decoration as it was perfect how it was. The team were fabulous and we thought it was extremely good quality for the price. Would highly recommend.Bickley Mill Inn's reply:

Bickley Mill is a great venue - a truly magical place for our wedding. The grounds are perfectly landscaped, and the Miller's Room is beautifully decorated on its own, with plenty of chance to add your own touch.
What impressed us most was how smoothly the day ran thanks to the organisation happening behind the scenes. The staff go above and beyond so your day goes without a hitch and you can actually relax, it was like they weren't even there, but everything just flowed. We weren't overly worried going in, but both of us (and our guests) were amazed at how the day turned out better than we could have imagined.
The food was fantastic - we're big foodies ourselves - and we and our guests stayed in all the rooms, which were comfortable and lovely, with a nice breakfast and very attentive staff in the morning.
If you like the look of the place, go and take a look - you'll be in safe hands with the team at Bickley Mill.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.
From the very beginning, the planning process was so smooth, and the team made everything feel easy and stress-free.
The ladies on the day were absolutely lovely and made us feel so comfortable throughout. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly.
We felt so well looked after, and it was lovely to be able to relax and enjoy our special day knowing we were in good hands.

We had the most wonderful wedding day and couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. The layout was beautiful and worked perfectly for our day, and the fairy lights created such a magical atmosphere. The food was absolutely fantastic and received so many compliments from our guests.
The accommodation was excellent too, and all of our guests commented on how comfortable the rooms were and how well they slept. I was especially grateful to the team for making every effort to get me into the bridal suite as early as possible. It really helped calm my nerves and allowed me to relax and enjoy getting ready for the day. The attention to detail and level of care shown by the staff was outstanding.Bickley Mill Inn's reply:

Everything was absolutely perfect, the venue, the staff, the food, communication, warmth friendly atmosphere. They can adapt to anything you want to do on your day. Made us feel 1000% relaxed.

There are simply no words that can truly capture how extraordinary The Bickley Mill Inn was as our wedding venue. Both of us talked of Bickley Mill even before our engagement and without a doubt it was the most important decision we made. From the moment we arrived a couple of years before our wedding, we knew we were somewhere special, but what they delivered went far beyond anything we could have imagined. No venue or service could simply compare to what we experienced at Bickley Mill.
The setting itself is breathtaking: warm, intimate, and full of character, with the kind of natural beauty that instantly puts you at ease. This was the place for us! Bickley Mill created the perfect backdrop for the most important day of our lives.
The food was exceptional, not just “wedding good”, but genuinely unforgettable. Every single guest commented on how delicious it was, and we’re still hearing about it weeks later. It was absolutely brilliant so hats off to the chefs in the kitchen!
But what made our experience truly magical was the staff. Every member of the team was kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in making our day perfect. They didn’t just host our wedding- they cared for it. Their warmth, professionalism, and calm presence made us feel supported from start to finish, and they turned what could have been a stressful day into the most seamless, joyful experience imaginable. You simply cannot put a value of service to this level.
The Bickley Mill Inn didn’t just give us a venue. They gave us memories we will treasure for the rest of our lives. We will never forget how incredible they were, and we will always be grateful for the love and care the staff and the venue poured into our day.

We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we booked, the whole team went above and beyond to make everything feel seamless, special, and completely stress-free.
Bickley itself is absolutely stunning and created the most beautiful venue for our day, it was so magical, but what made it truly exceptional was the incredible team behind it all. Every detail was so well organised, and everything flowed effortlessly from start to finish. So much was happening behind the scenes that we didn’t even have to think about, allowing us to enjoy every second of our wedding day.

We got married towards the end of March using the exclusive luxury midweek package with a smaller number of guests (50) and Bickley was the most perfect venue! The team were wonderfully supportive and organised from securing our date right through to the wedding itself, and had endless patience for our slightly chaotic disorganised selves! We were able to arrange a pre-wedding meal with our guests the night before with everyone staying over, and then breakfast for everyone the morning after the wedding, which was such a great opportunity to spend more time together. Bickley itself looks beautiful and needs very little decoration to bring it to life, as the whole vibe is very cosy, rustic and laid-back.
We all felt so comfortable and at home during our stay and the team went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had what they needed and that Cameron and I didn't need to worry about anything. The day ran like clockwork and the team guided us through each part without feeling overbearing! The food at each part of our 3 day celebration was excellent and service ran really smoothly. They'd also provided an excellent list of recommended vendors who were all amazing and absolutely worth the recommendations. We also felt that Bickley provided fantastic value for money after exploring lots of other venues in Devon and Cornwall before finding Bickley.
We would wholeheartedly recommend Bickley to anyone wanting a countryside wedding with a relaxed and stress-free vibe - we will definitely be back to celebrate in future! :)Bickley Mill Inn's reply:
