Facilities and Capacity
Talbooth House & Spa is a licensed venue and hosts small civil ceremonies for parties of up to 40 guests and informal receptions for up to 65 people. The hotel has 12 luxuriously appointed guest rooms, a day spa, a heated outdoor swimming pool, a hot tub, and a tennis court, so you and your loved ones can relax in comfort and style. Talbooth House & Spa is more than a stunning location; it's an experience from which beautiful memories spring.
Services Offered
Talbooth House & Spa offers a choice of two rental options. The first provides exclusive use of the entire property including closure of the spa (including pool house) throughout the day; the second does not include exclusivity of the spa or pool area but does permit access to both after 6 pm. Both options include ceremony hire, exclusive use of the grounds, overnight accommodation in the hotel's 12 guest bedrooms, and a buffet breakfast to be enjoyed at sister hotel Milsoms. Talbooth House's experienced events team will be on hand to guide and support you every step of the way, from the initial meeting till the last guest has departed. They will discuss the range of options available to you. They'll also liaise with the hotel's fabulous chefs. Whether you prefer a casual barbecue or a three-course wedding breakfast, you and your guests can look forward to a meal that will make your tastebuds sing. Whatever your vision, the Talbooth House team wants you to know that your special day is in safe, caring hands. Your satisfaction is their number one priority, and they want you and your loved ones to have the time of your lives in their perfect little slice of paradise.

Our last Wedding Open Day of the 2024 season will be a first-of-its-kind, with the opportunity to see our multiple spaces available in Dedham.
Come along to our Wedding Open Day for couples and their families to explore and get a feel for what a special Talbooth wedding will be like beside the river at Talbooth Restaurant, or in the intimate setting of Talbooth House & Spa.
Undecided between a small and intimate ceremony, or a bigger marquee party? Or perhaps your dream wedding comprises a series of celebrations spread over a few days and venues. This Open Day is the perfect opportunity to envision a celebration in a number of our wedding spaces.

- Look across the river to Idle Waters, our self-catered cottage popular with wedding parties.
Enjoy a glass of fizz or tea and coffee whilst you meet a member of the Milsom Wedding team, who will greet you to discuss all your exciting plans and guide you through our beautiful riverside marquee.
Our wedding marquee is taken down from October – March, so this will be your last opportunity to see the marquee dressed for an event.
If the venues and settings aren’t enough to make you say Yes, we have award-winning food and our kitchen will be serving canapés throughout the day that will be sure to wow.
There will be a chance to meet some of our recommended suppliers who are exhibiting across the properties on the day too!
