I can't fault Abigail's at all! The service you receive from booking is outstanding and I was shocked considering they do not charge for bridal appointments. I had a phone call from Rachel prior to my appointment who talked me through what to expect, got a feel for what I liked/didn't like and the vibe of our wedding so we could get stuck straight into dresses at my appointment! I only tried on a handful of dresses and found my dress based on Rachels recommendation. She knew exactly what would suit me and it was a dress I wouldn't have picked for myself!

All of the personal touches and expert advice from the staff at Abigail's really makes the whole process and enjoyable one. I would recommend to all bride-to-be's!

Abigail's Collection were amazing from start to finish.

Abigail's was the 4th bridal dress shop I went to, and to be honest, I wish I had just started there!

The dresses were all soo beautiful. They had a really lovely selection and they varied in price.

Kellie helped me during that first appointment and she was so sweet and helpful. She didn't make me feel rushed at all. And I'm soo glad because I found the perfect dress!

Once my dress arrived, I came back to the shop and tried it on - and also found the perfect accessories.

My husband ordered his wedding suit through The Grooms Room, and it fitted him perfectly. He looked amazing. He went for the "Made to Measure" option and Rob really knew what he was talking about. Rob even entertained my smallll fussy bride moment - haha!

My Dad also came to The Grooms Room for his Father of the Bride suit. He rented his suit, but that process was equally as enjoyable. He dealt with Karen and Sid and they were so lovely. They made my Dad feel really comfortable and he looked amazing.

Every one who works at Abigail's made us feel comfortable and confident - which is exactly how you should feel in the lead up to your wedding day.

Me bridesmaids and I all felt so welcome and pampered. The dresses were so beautiful that it was hard to decide. I had a bit of a tighter budget but they catered to it easily. Last-minute, I tried on a Sale dress, and it was the perfect one. They noticed when I was uncomfortable in other dresses compared to that last one, so was incredibly attentive.

The girls at Abigail’s collection are so friendly and warm, they immediately put you at ease. The process from start to finish was so smooth and they make it so special. Their communication was great and I adore my dress, and had so many compliments on it!

I cannot recommend them enough, both my sisters and I bought our wedding dresses there. Sophie created such a special environment for me when trying on dresses, really listening to what I wanted and guiding me to my dress! I felt really looked after by the whole team during the whole process ❤️

Our first appointment we had they made us feel welcome like you would expect. We left undecided between 2 suits which they said was fine and that we could make our decision when everyone came back to be measured around 3 months before the Wedding. We paid the entire balance at this point and this is where we made the mistake. After they had their money they no longer cared to give the service due after paying nearly £1000 to HIRE 4 suits.
The men went back in March for their ‘final’ fitting and they were met with pure rudeness ‘try this’ ‘put this on’ no manners or grace it was almost like a rush to get them in and out. Once home and on checking the paperwork I then had to ring back as they hadn't even written down the measurements for one of the shirts correctly. I was told I was wrong to then later be apologised to that it had been their mistake. I was now left with worry that if they had messed this up what else have they messed up. We expressed that we would like a re measure for the groom concerned after this and him losing a little bit of weight that the measurements would be wrong. We were then accused of using weight loss injections which is absolutely disgusting!
Later we had a phone call asking if we could clarify the sizes of the shoes as these hadn’t been written down either… everything had been paid in FULL.
After being told there couldn’t be another measurement fitting for the groom and me kicking up a fuss again, they allowed the groom to be measured again to ensure everything was fine on the day.
We collected our suits on the Tuesday before the Wedding which was the following Monday, to find 3 out of the 4 shirts had dirty cuffs or were well worn which you don’t expect for the £1000 paid to HIRE these suits.
Yet more apologies but no compensation came our way after yet more emails and phone calls.
We then had a phone call with Rob, the owner of grooms room, to be told we would be refunded just the value of the 3 shirts and some money to have a drink on them after all of this they refunded £80 which is quite disgusting.
I did also buy my wedding dress from here and they lacked communication with regard to when my dress came in which was more than a month later than they originally said. Again I had to chase and call them for information and when I later ordered a veil, I again had to chase them to see if it had been delivered to be told ‘oh yeah we were going to ring you’. I had rung a couple of days previously before to be told they’d have a look and call me back, but no it was me who had to chase them!
In total we spent £3,000 with this awful company and we didn’t have a great experience on either side.
I don’t expect this company to do anymore than they have but would like to help future couples from having the same dreadful experience by posting this review

Abigail's were brilliant from the start. They had an online platform where I could choose dresses to try. Kelly was so accommodating to my mum on crutches that day and she could see straight away I had found the one. But it didn't stop there! When I went to collect the dress they made sure everything was as I wanted. The little touches of a phone call and card before the wedding were also so touching. Loved the experience from start to finish and the dress was stunning!

I was initially quite nervous about shopping for my wedding dress as it’s rare that I like anything I try on the first time. But the whole process at Abigail’s put me so much at ease. From the start when booking the appointment and receiving a little surprise package in the post full of bridal goodies, the team are so personal and add little special touches throughout. I felt so at ease when shopping for my dress with lovely Rachel finding the perfect balance between hyping me up and being honest about the various gowns I tried on. I had a little wobble about the dress a few months later (thanks to a whole load of instagram scrolling) but the team were amazing and brought me in to try it on again which eased all of the anxiety I had built up. When I collected my gown and had alterations, there were a few minor details I was stressing about and again Abigail reached out with her reassuring and positive attitude and helped to make sure everything was sorted perfectly for me. I LOVED my dress on the day and it was the best choice I could have ever made. I’ll be forever grateful to the whole Abigail’s team for their patience, expertise and kindness. They are a must visit, when you’re shopping for your perfect wedding dress.

We were welcomed as soon as we came in the door and guided into a private area which made the experience feel so personal. I shared the style of dress I had seen and tried on previously and the lovely girls found a few dresses that matched. I only tried a few on and found the one! The girls know their dresses and know what might suit, they listen to your style of wedding and try to match the right dress, which they certainly did with me!

I had the best experience with at Abigail’s collection. We were greeted with beer and bubbly during the fitting which made it feel extra special. The team were incredibly accommodating and very LGBTQ+ friendly which was important for my groom’s party.
I wanted tweed and a specific kind of green and was so happy with my Appleton suit. The team helped me to personalise my suit and stand out as a groom with the biscuit coloured waistcoat which was a really nice touch. Me and my groom’s party had loads of compliments and I couldn’t be happier with how everything went!

Wow! Where do I begin?

The day I went wedding dress shopping I took my mum (approx. 11 months before the wedding day) I had no idea what type of dress I wanted and this was the first store I booked as my sister in law recommended it. From getting into the shop I was welcomed and dealt with so much kindness and class. The team allowed me to pick what dresses I liked and what dresses they thought I might liked and I knew by the the second dress I tried on I had found my dress. I wasn't pressured to buy the dress straight away or try on other dresses if I didn't want to. I had another appointment that day at another store which dealt with me which a lot less class (think pretty women vibes- big mistake, huge!) and I went straight back to Abigail's and had the dress back on within 5 minutes. I was able to take the dress that day and I also got a discount at the Groomsroom for my groom and groomsmen suits and again we was treated so nicely.

I am recommending this store to every bride I know. I even got a little care package (included a 6th pence for my shoe ) which just made the whole experience special and I am so glad I shared this moment with my mum. I follow the page on Instagram too and it's always so nice to see other brides and future brides dress choices. Thank you so much! I loved my dress. Felt like a princess.

As someone who works in the wedding industry myself, I was absolutely blown away with the service and experience at Abi's shop.

The team of stylists made me feel so incredibly special, both in the lead-up to and on the day of my appointment. They showed such genuine interest in my wedding, my style and my dress hunt, which really set them apart from other shops I visited prior.

I'm a bridesmaid for two different brides - the first bride got her dress from this shop last year and I left a review at the time saying how much I loved the experience, and I went back again last week as a bridesmaid to another bride, after recommending it to her based on the amazing service.

Again, we were blown away by the level of service, the care, the attention to detail. I cried when I saw my friend in her dress, she cried and even the stylist cried - a small thing but you could just tell how involved they were in her experience.
