Beautifully refurbished and steeped in Georgian elegance, Raemoir offers a truly bespoke experience. The venue is ideal for intimate celebrations of up to 60 guests, with 13 luxurious ensuite bedrooms, a cosy wood-panelled Sitting Room complete with open fire and the exquisite Oval Ballroom featuring plush velvet wall coverings.
A fully stocked Bar and a private team of professional staff, including expert chefs, ensure you and your guests are taken care of from start to finish. The entire house becomes your personal country retreat, providing privacy, luxury and a sense of home.
For your ceremony, choose from the timeless elegance of the house interiors or venture outdoors to the enchanting Woodland Cathedral - a secluded, natural sanctuary nestled beneath towering trees, just steps from the house.

The Perfect Aberdeenshire Venue
Neil (the owner) was always there to help out via email and Julie Love (the wedding coordinator) made planning an overseas wedding a breeze. Her decades of experience in the local wedding industry was invaluable. Although my husband grew up in the area, we planned the event from our home-base in Canada. Julie easily worked with the time difference and helped out wherever she could since we weren’t nearby. I loved getting to know her!
The two nights at Raemoir were truly a dream. To be surrounded by all your closest family and friends in one estate, to be so warmly welcomed by the owners and staff, and get to celebrate love all together…that’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience that is so incredibly worth it. I only wished it could have lasted longer!
The food was delicious, our long list of dietaries were thoughtfully catered to, and the rooms were so comfortable. Reena was so on top of the whole weekend and there at my elbow anytime I needed her—including helping to feed the busy bride in between socializing! Neil’s wife Julie and their daughter Emily were so attentive and thoughtful. Their two chocolate labs, Harry and Hunter, were the perfect addition to the party and all the guests loved them!
From the first time we saw the pictures of the Woodland Cathedral we knew we wanted to be married there, and we were rewarded with the most beautiful sunny day to do so. That being said, the atmosphere of the Oval Room is so gorgeous and historical, it would have made just as special of a place to have the ceremony. So many of our guests reiterated that it was the best wedding they had ever attended.
There is not a question in my mind that we made the best decision by having our wedding at Raemoir House! I wish I could live it all over again. If you are considering them for your wedding or event, book it now.

One of many special features about Raemoir is that you can pick a number of different areas to get married at. This can be from the Marquee to the lawn, to inside the house, to the woodland area. All is equally beautiful. Julie and Neil Rae (owners) Julie Love (Wedding Co-Ordinator), Reena and all the staff, have been a joy to work alongside, sad that we have no excuses to come to Raemoir now.
No faults we can give, except the weather on our Wedding Day😅

The food was fantastic, the grazing table a huge hit and more substantial than canapés.
