EastEnders actor Aaron Sidwell revealed he is engaged to his girlfriend Tricia Adele Turner.
Aaron, who is best known for playing troubled Steven Beale in the BBC soap, announced the news on Instagram with a sweet kissing snap.
“Here’s to the future Mrs Sidwell #SheSaidYes,” he captioned the snap.
The star didn’t reveal where he proposed, but Tricia flashed her ring for the photo as they kissed on London’s famous Carnaby Street.
It was an apt choice for the 30-year-old who met his musical theatre actress wife when they both starred in Carnaby Street: The Musical.
His co-stars were quick to congratulate the couple, with his on-screen father Adam Woodyatt writing “Congratulations.”
Tilly Keeper, who plays Louise Mitchell in the show, echoed the sentiment, while Harry Reid, who starred as Ben Mitchell, proudly wrote, “My boy.”
Emmerdale star Verity Rushworth revealed she suspected he’s popped the question. “Yeeeeeeeeessss !!!!!! I knew when I walked in to the dressing room mid smooch that something special was in the air !!! So chuffed for you both xxx All our love,” she wrote.
Former Tracy Beaker actress Dani Harmer added, “Yay congratulations dude!! Lots of love!!!! Xxxx.”
This will be Aaron’s second marriage. He previously tied the knot with Grace Isted in 2009 but they divorced in 2013. He shares two daughters with her, Matilda and Isla.
Aaron made his name as the fourth actor to play Steven Beale on Albert Square, between 2007 and 2017.
He was a guest at the wedding of his former co-star Lacey Turner in 2017 and his guest list is expected to contain plenty of famous names if the congratulations streaming in are anything to go by.
Congratulations to Aaron and Tricia!
