When looking for a wedding planner we could not recommend Lucy enough! As quite an indecisive couple we started the process unsure of what kind of wedding we wanted, however Lucy started by getting together with us, brainstorming ideas and making a vision board to help narrow ideas down. We started by planning a festival-themed wedding, with Lucy researching all elements of this and making good relationships with local suppliers that we were keen to use. She also sent us information and price breakdowns for various caterers in the area, booking in tastings and helping us reflect on them. After lots of careful consideration we decided to change venues..to Sri Lanka! Lucy was more than understanding, adaptable and immediately jumped on board helping us to find the perfect villa that ticked all of our (slightly unrealistic) boxes. She worked tirelessly behind the scenes, using helpful spreadsheets and lists to ensure we had even the smallest of details covered, and followed us out there for the actual day. The day before Lucy sourced suppliers for alcohol, flowers and decorations accompanying the villa staff to pick them up and quality checking everything thoroughly. She even helped in making bouquets, adding Sri Lankan wildflowers and foliage picked from the grounds, and was the only person I trusted to look after my wedding dress, helping me to carefully steam it and totally putting my mind at ease. On the day, Lucy was very hands on with a clear plan of how to get everything done, directing villa staff, coordinating with the bridal party and celebrant, as well as decorating the villa, aisle and tables. She was calm, professional and our absolute rock, meaning we were free to sit back and enjoy the day without any worries. Thanks for helping this indecisive, unorganised couple have the wedding of their dreams - we’ll be booking you for our renewal in twenty years time!
