I understand that not every bride wants a traditional “wedding planner”, so I offer personalised wedding planning for modern couples. My services are designed to flex to match your personality and style.
Some couples want another pair of hands to help tackle wedding admin because life’s other demands don’t stop just because you got engaged (unfortunately). While others want an expert to organise the entire event for them. Whatever you need, Without a hitch can help!
At Without a hitch, helping to-be-weds find joy in the planning experience is always the top priority. I strive to have couples arrive on their day feeling relaxed and ready to embrace every moment. I offer three packages to choose from, ranging from a light touch to the full works. An option for a custom bundle of services is also available to ensure couples get their planning support package.

How do you work?
I have an unfaltering commitment to NOT being a wedding factory. I make sure every couple gets enough of my time to feel special. So I only take on 1 wedding pcm; maximum of 12 lovely clients a year!

I couldn't recommend Alix enough!
Alix was extremely helpful in the run up to our wedding day, keeping me sane and focussed on all the right details for the months leading up to it. I don't how we could have done our day without her. Our venue and caterers had coordinators but Alix was the one who really pulled everything together. At all points she was making sure things were running to plan, so much so that I barely thought about plans on the day and we could just enjoy ourselves. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Our perfect day
Alix was incredible. I'm very Type A and she brought all of my details to life - from the tiniest moments to the big ones. She was collaborative and responsive throughout the weeks leading up to the event, and picked everything up right after our first call - understanding the exact vibe we wanted to create. Value for money was exceptional as we'd be quoted 3x her rates by other planners for less that what Alix delivered. She was very behind the scenes on the day, just touching base with us when she really needed to but other than that, was ensuring everything run totally smoothly behind the scenes. I didn't think about the logisitcs/planning elements once on the day.

I was a pure calm bride thanks to Alix…
I reached out to Alix literally a week before my wedding after realising that, despite 10 months of planning, the on-the-day coordination wasn’t where it needed to be. Thankfully Alix was available and immediately stepped in to help.
After just two meetings and a lot of information to take in, she worked like a fairy godmother 🧚 understanding every detail of what I envisioned (and I can be quite particular!). She ran the entire day seamlessly, ll in a way I simply couldn’t have done without her.
I felt so calm and relaxed knowing she was in charge, and that allowed me to fully enjoy every moment. Thank you, Alix, for bringing my perfect day to life. It truly was flawless and I’m still buzzing from how beautifully everything came together. Xxx

Alix does exactly what she says on the tin
Alix was absolutely fantastic. We hired here when my husband and I were getting a little in over our heads between work deadlines and wedmin. We hired Alix for on the day coordination and as a back up in case we needed her to take ofver any planning aspects. Her pre calls were fantastic at taking our brain splurges and getting them into a coherant order. She managed to keep secrets from my husband to be for me and hide them in the order of the day. and made me feel confident that she would be there on the day.
On the day - WOW just WOW Alix is A FIRST CLASS PROBLEM SOLVING SUPER HERO. I didnt see the problems, they just miraculously would be solved. She even sorted for us to have standing desserts because our speeches over ran and it went down a TREAT! Alix you made me able to enjoy my day and were fantastic from the calls, to the beginning of the day to the end. I don't know how you do it but thank you so very much for making it all seem like everything was great at all times.

Amazing Planner & Coordinator!
Alix is an incredible planner and coordinator, with a wealth of experience and the best personality for helping on your wedding day. My partner and I got married earlier this month, and I literally couldn't have done it without Alix's help. Cool, calm and collected with a really logical approach to organising, having Alix's help on the day meant that I was also calm and collected! Catching up ahead of the day on a regular basis meant we were both on the same page and fully aware of what was happening; the day itself ran fantastically and that's done to Alix just getting on with what was needed behind the scenes. My partner and I work in the events industry, so we were really picky with our vendors; Alix delivered exactly what was promised, all with a smile on her face, and was an invaluable asset on our day. Alix was fantastic!
Alix was a total godsend on our wedding day! She jumped in as on the day coordinator, taking on all the info, checking we had everything in place and she ran the day with calm and professionalism even with elements of our day being DIY and unconventional! She dealt with any issues that arose with ease and was flexible, professional and fun to work with. Thank you so much Alix - you are amazing!

Top quality service
Alix did an amazing job supporting and guiding us through a very short engagement (5 months!) through to our wedding day on 24th March 2023 and we couldn’t have done it without her. Alix went above and beyond, taking on many roles outside traditional wedding planner duties from controlling our ceremony music to showing me pictures of the ceremony room decor before my entry. Thank you for everything Alix, I’ll miss our regular video calls! All the best x
