We weren't planning to hire a coordinator at the start of our wedding planning, but as we went on it became apparent that there was NO WAY we would have the day we were hoping for without someone to support us. After doing a lot of research we found Get Hitched, without a hitch with Alix and honestly I am so so so so glad we did. We choose the Day Coordinator package, as that suited out needs best, but with how Alix was even with just the support on the day, I wish we had chosen more from her. At every call we had she was brilliant, she helped us really hone down what was important on the day, giving advice and guidance and also support with decisions for our day, which for me, who at this point felt like I had looked at my day plan thousands of time, was a god send, as she picked out really important key areas that needs sorting, even after all that time! She gave suggestions and ideas that I had never thought of, which really helped the last couple of weeks stay fun for me. THE DAY - I honestly cannot tell you how much having Alix there on the day calmed my nerves. By Nature I am a very anxious person and with planning events for my job, I am normally in Alix position, so I knew all the things that can go wrong with similar style events but Alix handled everything that came at her with ease, professionalism and humor which really helped me stay calm, at ease and in the moment of my big day, she is truly a gem! When the venue contact didn't arrive on time, she sorted it, when the caterers ran late by 30 minutes she sorted it and at the end of the night when my dress broke, SHE EVEN SORTED THAT! I cannot thank her enough for the support she gave us on the day and all that she did. Having her there really helped me stay in the moment and enjoy the first couple of hours of marriage with my husband and family. I could not recommend her enough.

TLDR - Alix is kind, professional, funny and firm when needed. She is quick to anticipate everyone's needs to sort out things before the bride and groom even notice. In my opinion, my wedding would have not been as fun without Alix there to help!

Alix was so incredibly helpful throughout the whole process and was incredibly accommodating. She remained such a calm presence throughout planning and on the day and it allowed us to fully enjoy the day knowing everything was taken care of. She was so wonderful to work with and really helped us to bring our wedding to life. We were bringing in all our vendors and creating the venue from scratch so there was a lot to coordinate and manage and having Alix’s help in bringing that to life was brilliant. Alix helped us plan and organise our wedding in the last few weeks leading up to it. She executed our vision helped us with any holes in the schedule and was just a complete joy to work with. We had two planning calls with Alix in the lead up to the wedding, which gave us complete confidence that everything we had planned would be organised and under control. From the moment Alix got involved, we genuinely felt like we could relax and enjoy the whole process. She somehow managed to keep everything running seamlessly behind the scenes while making us feel like all we had to do was soak up every moment. Nothing was ever too much trouble, no question was too silly, and every tiny detail was thought through with so much care.

On the wedding day itself, everything just flowed. Guests had no idea how much work was happening in the background, which is probably the biggest compliment we can give. We certainly didn’t either and that’s entirely down to Alix.

Alix was so helpful from the first time we chatted to the wedding day itself. She helped us so much to create the most special wedding day for our daughter. As well as being a lovely person, she was extremely professional, thorough, helpful and proactive, and as mother of bride I felt so safe in her hands! Alix was extremely helpful in the run up to our wedding day, keeping me sane and focussed on all the right details for the months leading up to it. I don't how we could have done our day without her. Our venue and caterers had coordinators but Alix was the one who really pulled everything together. At all points she was making sure things were running to plan, so much so that I barely thought about plans on the day and we could just enjoy ourselves. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Alix was incredible. I'm very Type A and she brought all of my details to life - from the tiniest moments to the big ones. She was collaborative and responsive throughout the weeks leading up to the event, and picked everything up right after our first call - understanding the exact vibe we wanted to create. Value for money was exceptional as we'd be quoted 3x her rates by other planners for less that what Alix delivered. She was very behind the scenes on the day, just touching base with us when she really needed to but other than that, was ensuring everything run totally smoothly behind the scenes. I didn't think about the logisitcs/planning elements once on the day.

I reached out to Alix literally a week before my wedding after realising that, despite 10 months of planning, the on-the-day coordination wasn’t where it needed to be. Thankfully Alix was available and immediately stepped in to help.

After just two meetings and a lot of information to take in, she worked like a fairy godmother 🧚 understanding every detail of what I envisioned (and I can be quite particular!). She ran the entire day seamlessly, ll in a way I simply couldn’t have done without her.

We had a very DIY wedding, which meant lots of moving parts and a huge list for Alix to do before we arrived and throughout the day. She handled everything so well, wasn’t phased by the enormous list of jobs she had to do, kept so calm the whole time, every time I looked over at her she was busy doing stuff but always maintained a smile throughout too. We deliberated whether or not we should even hire a coordinator for the day and we are so unbelievably glad we did. Best money we spent. Me and my husband were hands off all day and Alix liaised with everyone and dealt with everything for us, which meant we could properly enjoy the day. Couldn’t recommend Alix enough!!

Alix was absolutely fantastic. We hired here when my husband and I were getting a little in over our heads between work deadlines and wedmin. We hired Alix for on the day coordination and as a back up in case we needed her to take ofver any planning aspects. Her pre calls were fantastic at taking our brain splurges and getting them into a coherant order. She managed to keep secrets from my husband to be for me and hide them in the order of the day. and made me feel confident that she would be there on the day.

On the day - WOW just WOW Alix is A FIRST CLASS PROBLEM SOLVING SUPER HERO. I didnt see the problems, they just miraculously would be solved. She even sorted for us to have standing desserts because our speeches over ran and it went down a TREAT! Alix you made me able to enjoy my day and were fantastic from the calls, to the beginning of the day to the end. I don't know how you do it but thank you so very much for making it all seem like everything was great at all times.
