Vinegar & Brown Photography is a wedding photography company located in Horsham, West Sussex. Operating out of Horsham, but covering South East England and abroad, this friendly and professional photography team delights in covering destination weddings and special occasions throughout the UK. Led by owner Jason Baughan, they blend modern and vintage styles with fine-art photography and aim to document love stories in a natural, relaxed manner.
Services Offered
Vinegar & Brown Photography have aligned their services to reflect Covid-19 guidelines and safety measures. The specialist team offers a number of photography packages to suit both micro weddings and larger celebrations. Ranging from two hours of coverage to 10 hours of on-site photography, they aim to capture the candid emotions and highlights of your day. Afterwards, newlyweds can look forward to reliving their day via online galleries or USB wooden keepsakes. You can also purchase tasteful prints and bespoke wedding albums. Their name is inspired by the Jack and Jill fairy tale, and Vinegar and Brown Photography will endeavour to preserve your fairy tale for eternity.

Yes, london and Southeast England. But we can cover weddings further and abroad if travel costs are covered

No charge up to 100 miles from Horsham, West Sussex. Then £75 fee for UK wide cover.
Weddings abroad covered but travel and accommodation costs need to be covered

We prefer the informal unintrusive approach. We capture the little precious moments. We use a modern, low contrast feel to our image edits, with lots of warm colours, matt effects

Incredibly timeless photos!
We couldn’t be more pleased with Jason’s work. From the engagement photo shoot to our wedding day, Jason produced the most stunning photos. Both my partner and I aren’t used to being in front of the camera and and can find the whole experience very awkward, but Jason directed us thoroughly and made the whole experience really enjoyable! We are absolutely in love with the photos and cannot thank him enough for capturing the emotion of the day effortlessly. Such beautiful and natural photos, thank you so much!

Outstanding photographer, helpful, knowledgeable and professional
Jason was amazing and captured our wedding day perfectly. He was friendly and listened to what we wanted! Jason was professional and guided us through the day making sure we had photos that we would treasure! The photos were outstanding! I would highly recommend him!!

Just what we wanted
We were keen to work with Jason after seeing his online portfolio, which demonstrated his diversity in working with couple's preferences. Jason fully delivered what we'd asked for on the day - lots of natural photos of us and our guests, including some fab arty ones. He was very discrete, you often wouldn't have known he was there. Looking over the photos, he must have been run ragged capturing shots from all the right angles!
We also appreciated Jason encouraging us to have time with our guests straight after the ceremony, rather than rushing us off, as so many other photographers do. Lots of guests commented on how great Jason was on the day, even before seeing the photos.
We're thrilled with the end result and very happy to recommend Jason.

Highly Recommend
Jason was brilliant right from our first meeting, before the wedding and throughout our day. He put us at ease and gave us some ideas for pictures we didn't think of. He efficiently organised our guests, explained the best way to stand, and everyone commented on how friendly he was. We love our photos and for someone who hates herself in photos I can honestly say I love the pictures of me and my new husband. We highly recommend Vinegar Brown Photography x

Thank you so so much again, you were amazing on the day and captured everything perfectly. Very professional, on time , great with us and our guests. So Awesome
Jason went above and beyond, listening to our requests and ensuring we got everything we wanted for our wedding day. The photos are absolutely stunning, it has taken us months to pick our album as we just can't cut it down! We never knew he was there, yet we have photos of so many gorgeous moments through the entire day. We cannot recommend him enough, thank you so much!

What an amazing photographer that we were fortunate to find during the National Wedding Show- Olympia London. From first meeting Jason and having the opportunity to see his passion and quality photographers, we knew that he was the one for us.
Jason did not disappoint, from our initial telephone conversation, during the pre-wedding photoshoot and even on the big day, Jason was professional, friendly, and helped to keep my husband and I relaxed throughout.

Absolutely amazing
We couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. As a couple we aren’t ones for taking lots of photos so we were really worried about having a camera in our faces all day. But Jason made us feel so comfortable and was directive to help us look our best.
We were looking for timeless, candid family photos that we are proud to put up in our home as a newly married couple and that’s exactly what we got. Each photo told a story and captured a moment, helping us remember the day and not forget a minute.

Fantastic photographer!
We loved Jason being our photographer, he made us so comfortable being in front of the camera which isn't usually natural for us! Our pre-wedding shoot was a great chance for us to get to know each other and gave us some lovely shots. On the day Jason was brilliant when we were getting ready, he wasn't in anybody's way but still got so many great pictures, later he was great organising the guests for the photos. During the reception we barely even knew he was there but the pictures he got of everyone are so amazing, the candid shots are our favourites. The shots of just us without the guests look so comfortable and genuine, we can't choose a favourite. The gallery and printed folio box Jason sent us after the wedding are so beautiful and we love them so much. Thank you for helping us remember our day with such lovely pictures Jason! An amazing photographer - would highly recommend!
Jason was an amazing photographer - the engagement shoot was so helpful and on the wedding day he captured the day perfectly. He gave us a wonderful mix of group shots and candid shots and some absolutely fabulous couple shots. We would highly recommend Jason, he was so flexible and great to work with - and the photos he took are just beautiful.
