Above all else, I have to thank both of you for helping me to face a fear that I've had since I was bullied for it as a child: smiling with my teeth out. It might seem like a really simple thing, but for the last 12 years of my life I've hated my natural smile and done everything I can to avoid it being seen by other people, let alone captured on camera for all eternity. When we booked our pre-wedding photoshoot, Adam and I were (as you well know) very nervous and awkward about it, and my smile is one of the main reasons for me personally. Well, not only did we both smile a LOT, but you guys are part of the reason why. We weren't anticipating the level of fondness we have developed for both of you, but we felt we genuinely made two new friends after that shoot. You couldn't have been a more calming presence, more encouraging, funnier, lovelier or more professional throughout, and by the end of the day we realised how much fun we'd actually had - totally the opposite of the ball of nerves we had expected to be! Throughout the process, from discussing specific details about our wedding to just having a general chat about me being a paranoid bride, the experience has been better than anything we could've hoped for. On the day of our wedding, we were ecstatic that we had a man and a woman to photograph the intimate "getting ready" part of the day for us both, rather than just the standard photos of only the bride getting ready, and they both remained with us right through until the evening despite having most certainly been utterly knackered by that point (I know we were!) just to get some photos of Adam playing with his band. For the entirety of our day, we are so incredibly grateful to have had these two photographers (and friends) there to make it even more special. Every little moment of magic was captured, and that's all we wanted. The photos couldn't be more natural, more representative of us as a couple, more perfect. From the bottom of my heart, both of you, you have made me feel better about my smile, you've made me hate it less, and I didn't think that was possible. Adam and I wish you every ounce of happiness and love we can give, and hope to see you both again soon. Thank you!
