Laura Helen Photography is a well-established photography business in the North West, in Lancaster, Lancashire, that provides wedding coverage, aiming to document all the high points and enjoyable moments from each milestone. Lead photographer Laura delights in doing justice to each occasion with beautiful images that show every event as naturally as possible.
Services Offered
Laura delights in improving her craft. Stylistically, her approach has changed with time and today, she likes to produce eye-catching, enduring images of celebrations as they unfold. Her work allows couples and guests to reflect on each event and relive all the emotional highlights. Couples are welcome to choose their favourite package from a number of different options. These include the Half-Day, Full-Day and Twilight bundles. Laura can be accompanied by an additional photographer, and this would be an ideal way for couples to ensure all angles are suitably covered. What’s more, Laura Helen Photography also offers engagement sessions. With these, couples can safeguard the moment they said ‘yes’ to their forever.

What does the wedding package include?
I offer a range of packages, from Half Day, Full Day and a Twilight Add on package if you wish to have coverage extend to your first dance. Please refer to my website, under Packages for more info
How far in advance should I contact you?
As far as possible. I still have a few spaces left for 2025, and 2026 is starting to fill up
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Can you travel?
Yes, lancashire, The North West and Cumbria, The Lake District
What is the charge for travelling?
I don't charge for travel if it is within my advertised areas or an hour from my location

What kind of technology do you use?
Digital
Do you use a specific technique or innovative approach?
I keep my editing natural and make general tweaks to improve the overall exposure of an image, however I do not over edit as it takes away the authenticity of the photograph
What kind of equipment do you use?
I am a huge Canon lover, so my main camera is my 5D Mark IV, with a Mark III backup. Each camera has dual card slots, and I use a variety of lenses
Do you offer any tool to display the photos online?
Yes, package dependant, I do include a password protected online gallery of 250 images.
I can also allow for Dropbox as a way of reducing your package price if you were on a tight budget
What's the delivery time for a photographic report?
1 month

Deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking, and final amount is any time 4 weeks before your wedding date
How do you work?
As natural as possible. I like to be as discreet but I do step forward when it comes to groups, confetti throws, signing the register, and I am always respectful to your wishes on the day

Engagment shoot
We recently had our engagement shoot with Laura and from the start she was amazing. Im an anxous person yet felt at ease with Laura as soon as we met her. The whole shoot was brilliant from start to finish and the photos! All of them are beautiful and beyond what we imagined. We cannot wait to see what our wedding photos look like when it is our big day but we are 100% sure we have chosen the right photographer for it. Thank you again Laura.

Laura is amazing!
Laura is amazing! She did our engagement photoshoot and made us both feel comfortable and was so lovely. We had the most beautiful day and pictures with the way she captured the autumnal colours.

Laura is amazing!!
We couldn’t be happier with our wedding photos from Laura! We got married at Ribby Hall during a storm, but Laura made sure we still got all the outdoor pictures we wanted. She was such a calm and lovely presence throughout the day, which really helped us relax and enjoy every moment.

Captures The Love, Book Her!
Laura is such an amazing photographer who captured my day better than I could have imagined or asked for. Before I even decided on my florist, wedding dress, or even the venue, I knew I wanted to book Laura for my special day because of her talents. She communicated and was there all along the way through the booking process, leading up to my wedding with a phone call, and just being a calming presence but knew how to give directions on the day. I could not have asked for a more wonderful person to capture the love and how special the day was to me and my husband. I am truly blessed to be able to look back at these photos and real live the moment because that is how great Laura is at her job. Laura is incredible and would be the best wedding photographer for you. I would book her and recommend her completely. Thank you Laura!

I haven’t got a bad word to say about Laura! She had amazing communication, and was was nothing but professional and accommodating when our situation changed. she was so friendly and made you feel so comfortable, me and my partner don’t usually like being in front of the camera but she made it an amazing experience. We received our photos back almost 2 weeks ahead of her original estimate and they’re all perfect, she captured us the way we wanted, playful, candid. We received so many photos, she captured everything about our special day. Her photos are amazing quality! Laura made our day absolutely perfect and thanks to her we have the best memories to look back on. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best photographer!!
We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer! From the moment we met her, she was so friendly and easy to be around – she made us feel completely at ease throughout the day. Lovely photographer
Laura was professional from the outset and always let me know when the next point of contact would be so I felt informed and assured. She went through our wedding in detail, what our plans were and what we specifically hoped to have photographed, offering helpful insight along the way. On the day she was friendly and skillful. Our preview photos are wonderful and we can't way to see the rest of the album! Highly recommend

Beautiful Natural Wedding Photos!
Laura was fantastic on our wedding day. We picked her as our photographer because we liked her natural style. Laura captured beautiful candid moments throughout our day as well as stunning posed shots. We didn’t even notice her taking photos which is exactly what we wanted and she was so lovely on the day. I felt super comfortable with her in the getting ready room taking pictures which was so important as the morning was very intimate. The photos also came back super quickly which we really appreciate.

Perfect in every way!!
Laura was unbelievable, start to finish! She blended into our day so perfectly and captured the most amazing pictures. All of our friends have commented on how stunning they have turned out and how she made everyone feel at ease all day. Laura was so helpful with getting the right poses and angles and used the full grounds of the venue to capture so many shots. From the moment she arrived to the bridal party prep, I just knew that I was in safe hands. If you were thinking of booking Laura then this is your sign to do it- you will NOT be disappointed!!

There are no words to describe how grateful we are to have had Laura as our photographer. She helped us create the most perfect day. Before the wedding Laura's communication was excellent.
