Matt is the most relaxed and laid-back photographer we've ever met, and that is so reflected in the stunning photos he captured from our perfect wedding day. We are so grateful to him for taking the time to meet with us via Zoom beforehand to get to know us and get a feel for the kind of vibe we wanted. He travelled to my Mum's for the morning to get some photos of us girls getting ready, and then met us at the venue to see the boys put the finishing touches on their suits, and stayed with us right up until after the first dance. Matt was so friendly and blended in with our day - it didn't even feel like he was working! We loved that he gave us the advice of just having a few 'posed' photos with family outside, so that we could enjoy the very most of our day. Matt has such a great eye for a natural photo and we have hundreds to look through in years to come. We are over the moon with our photos, and can't thank Matt enough for his beautiful work.

Originally, me and my now husband didn’t want a photographer. We was going to rely on family photos, as we’re both not one to pose in-front of a camera. After some gentle persuading from a family member we booked Matt and we are soo glad we did.

We scheduled in a zoom meeting to say hello and discuss what kind of pictures we wanted (mainly what pictures we didn’t want as I was so nervous lol). Matt was so reassuring. He promised he’d capture a relaxed day, pictures that told a story.

Our wedding day finally came round. I could hardly speak with nerves, the weather was rubbish, my 2 year old was over tired and grumpy but that didn’t matter. Matt was an absolute dream. He offered his help, he spoke to my children, he calmed me down talking about his wonderful family. It really helped take my mind off the ‘wedding nerves’. There was no pressure to pose or ‘force’ the children into group photos, yet amongst the chaos ,he somehow managed to capture some breathtaking memories. I was amazed.

After we was married, I think Matt sensed we was a little stressed (our daughter really wasn’t happy lol) he suggested we go for a quiet walk on our own, just for 5 minutes to soak everything in and that’s where the magic happened.
Some absolute stunning photos were taken, memories we’ll treasure forever. Me and my husband were only talking, so relaxed , laughing about what the hell had just happened. We forgot Matt was even there.

We received our pictures roughly 6 weeks later.

An intimate conversation with my uncle about my wedding ring (it was my nans who passed away).
Me and my dad holding hands, smiling at each other (my dad has been diagnosed with dementia, so you can imagine how special that photo now is).
These are just some special moments matt managed to capture and I didn’t even know.

My only regret is, I didn’t book Matt for longer.

Matt did such an amazing job with the photos of our wedding celebration in January. We had him there from 9am all the way through to 10pm and he was an absolute pleasure to have as part of our day. He made the process so easy, we had a lovely sit down with him (our wedding was pre-pandemic in 2019) and a chat through his previous photos at our venue, through our expectations and what we loved about his style and he took the time to make sure he fulfilled every promise.
The photos we received were more than we ever expected and we absolutely love every single one. He captured some beautiful images, not only of my husband Alex and I, but of our guests, which we will treasure forever. We met Matt on zoom after our original photographer cancelled with 3 months to go. It was a blessing in disguise... we instantly clicked with Matt although we didn't meet until our wedding day! I can’t really remember finding Matt but I remember racing over to see him and booked him on the spot. His personality was a perfect match for us. We thought it was important to have suppliers that suited our personality. Matt was amazing at changing our date .. twice! Throughout the years we waited he became a trusted friend and I couldn't have asked for a better photographer in the end. We decided on a very small list of “posed” shots so we could enjoy the day. He captured every guest in a natural reportage style. He loves detail and even after having my photos a while I still see new things in them. I honestly couldn’t be happier. My husband isn’t one for a camera and and I can’t help but pull faces and mess about that made Matts work hard but he got everything about the day. They are all perfect. Matt blends in with guests and I barely noticed him there until someone said “where’s Matt” and his head would pop up. He’s not intrusive in anyway at all, not once did I feel I had a camera shoved in my face. He was so patient and always at hand if anyone needed some help. A true gent! This man is a miracle worker with the camera, our photos are amazing and everyone has loved them. If you have the chance to book please do, I honestly can’t recommend him highly enough. Even after all these years in his trade he’s still so passionate about it. Matt from the bottom of my heart thank you. You were the best person (other than my bridesmaids) to have by my side. You calmed me, made me laugh, gave me tissue for my tears … you are the best photomaid any bride could ask for. X

Wonderful photos and a wonderful photographer. Matthew made the whole day really easy and had his own really helpful suggestions, as well as accommodating our special requests. We were worried, as the weather on the day was awful, but he still managed to produce beautiful images that we will always treasure. Cannot recommend highly enough.
