Prescott Entertainment is a Wedding DJ service located in Watchet, Somerset, just north of Taunton. Owner Ben Prescott and his team have been entertaining clients and their guests for many years. They are passionate about music, and they are known for their professional, down-to-earth approach. Ben and his team understand that a wedding is not just an event; it’s an experience. They want to help you design a celebration that you and your loved ones will remember and cherish for years to come.
In 2022 Prescott Entertainment was proud to be recognised at the Hitched UK Weddings Awards. Prescott Entertainment was the sole winner in its category and named 'Best Wedding DJ & Music Company' in Somerset.

What is included in the wedding package?
We have a range of services to choose from to create bespoke and personalised wedding packages perfect for your wedding day. All of our extras are available to hire with a Professional Wedding DJ
How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner you contact us the better. We have always operated on a first come first served basis however on average couples book a year in advance

Yes we work on a personal level with our clients to ensure their requests and requirements have been met. We appreciate that no two weddings are the same

Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, this is worked out on an individual quote basis depending how far we will need to travel
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
Yes
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
The length of our performance can be based around your requirements however most weddings choose a performance time of 7PM-12AM for the evening but we also offer All Day Services
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Our setup time takes roughly 1 hour but this can alter between different venues
Do you do open-air acts?
Yes
Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?
Yes
How do you charge extra time?
Extra time will be worked out between the client and the DJ. Any extension to performance must be approved by the venue manager
What are the forms of payment?
BACS Payment is our preferred method of payment

Amazing DJ!
Ben was amazing from the off set. We met him at our venue open day and not long after we booked Prescott Entertainment.
He kept in touch leading up to our special day asking for a song list and making us aware of other services he provides. On the day he came and found us to inform us that he had arrived. Ben was great at working through the list of music we supplied as well picking up a vibe from the dance floor and changing up the music to keep the dance floor full! Ourselves and our guests had a fantastic time.

Best DJ we could’ve asked for!
Ben was an incredible DJ! He was so attentive so he was able to understand the crowd and play songs that he knew we would like! We gave him a playlist and some additional bits to sort and he was happy to do it and had fun! We couldn’t recommend him enough to any wedding or any function! 10/10!!

Ben was amazing at our wedding. We discussed with him the music we would like and on the day it was exactly what we asked for. Ben created a wonderful, fun atmosphere where everyone was on the dance floor.

Incredible dj!
We cannot recommend Prescott Entertainment enough. We had met Ben at a couple of weddings we had attended, and we knew straight away he was going to be the DJ for us. The dancefloor was absolutely packed from start to finish, Ben knew exactly what to play and at what time. He catered for all of our guest across all ages, and also took on board our requests in the run up to the day. We have had so many guests tell us that they had never heard such a great mix of a playlist at a wedding, we honestly had an absolute ball. Ben was so great at getting everyone involved, and his uplighting package at Crowcombe Court made the room look amazing!
We can't thank you enough for being a part of our big day, we would absolute recommend you to everyone!!
