Prescott Entertainment is a Wedding DJ service located in Watchet, Somerset, just north of Taunton. Owner Ben Prescott and his team have been entertaining clients and their guests for many years. They are passionate about music, and they are known for their professional, down-to-earth approach. Ben and his team understand that a wedding is not just an event; it’s an experience. They want to help you design a celebration that you and your loved ones will remember and cherish for years to come.
In 2022 Prescott Entertainment was proud to be recognised at the Hitched UK Weddings Awards. Prescott Entertainment was the sole winner in its category and named 'Best Wedding DJ & Music Company' in Somerset.

We have a range of services to choose from to create bespoke and personalised wedding packages perfect for your wedding day. All of our extras are available to hire with a Professional Wedding DJ
How far in advance should I contact you?
The sooner you contact us the better. We have always operated on a first come first served basis however on average couples book a year in advance

Yes, this is worked out on an individual quote basis depending how far we will need to travel

What is the length of time of the act?
The length of our performance can be based around your requirements however most weddings choose a performance time of 7PM-12AM for the evening but we also offer All Day Services
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Our setup time takes roughly 1 hour but this can alter between different venues

Do you charge per hour or per event?
Per event
If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

How do you charge extra time?
Extra time will be worked out between the client and the DJ. Any extension to performance must be approved by the venue manager

What a party!
We booked Prescott Entertainment for our wedding at Orchardleigh House, and honestly… Ben absolutely smashed it from the very first conversation. From our first chat, he was enthusiastic, friendly, and full of brilliant ideas. We told him we wanted a proper, high-energy celebration with all our favourite music genres woven together seamlessly—and he delivered exactly that.
The dance floor? Never empty. The tunes? Total bangers. The vibe? Electric.
And then… enter Otis, the insanely talented sax player. Two epic 45-minute sets, jamming live alongside Ben’s tracks like it was our own private festival. His rendition of Jubel? Unreal. We were basically front row at the best gig of our lives—except it was OUR wedding.
If you’re looking for a wedding or party where the music makes the night, Prescott Entertainment is the one. I’m now actively searching for excuses to throw another party, just so I can book them again.
Ben, Otis—thank you for an unforgettable night. You didn’t just play music, you brought the magic.

A fantastic DJ!
Ben from Prescott Entertainment was the perfect DJ for our wedding night. He knew exactly how to read the room and what songs to play. We couldn't recommend him enough he was so accommodating with all of our requests and helped make our wedding planning stress free!

Providers of the most epic party
From the moment we met the team at Prescott Entertainment, we knew they would bring the energy and vibes. We had the saxophonist and the Photo Booth and lighting so got to sample lots of their services. Throughout the planning and even on the wedding day there was no task to big or small for them. The dance floor was FULL and I mean FULL all night. Ben read the room and kept pulling out banger after banger.

100% recommend Prescott Entertainment!!
We are so glad we hired Prescott Entertainment for our wedding!!! We had Ben for our party in the evening for our reception, as well as the silent disco, and the uplighting, and we hired the lovely Otis the saxophone player through Prescott Entertainment as well! The whole evening entertainment was incredible but the silent disco was unbelievable!!! Everyone said how amazing this was and we totally agree. The dancefloor was full all night right up until midnight when our wedding finished and Ben was a big part of that! Would 100% recommend Prescott Entertainment and Otis the saxophone player.
