Created almost 15 years ago, with a 'start from scratch' approach to cut out all the tired cliches and general clutter that accompanies many mobile discos Offbeat Entertainment aims to create something based on outstanding sound quality, an atmospheric lighting set-up, and, of course, making people dance like there's no tomorrow. It has turned into a potent recipe for a fantastic party and seen Offbeat become one of the South West's most essential wedding and coroporate events suppliers.


With an impressive career playing at venues from Wembley Stadium to Glastonbury Festival, and supporting major artists from Grandmaster Flash and DJ Yoda to Ed Sheeran and Fleetwood Mac, Sebastian will make sure that your occasion is a world away from the typical mobile DJ affair that can so often fall flat. And if you're looking for something a little more alternative to your typical mainstream playlist, for example Garage, House, Hip-Hop or DnB then these can be incorporated seamlessly into the evening's set.

With full PLI and PAT tested equipment as well as being fully accredited by the National Association of DJs you can rest assured that your party is in very safe hands. And as Offbeat Entertainment is not an agency, you will receive a personal service from Sebastian from your first contact to the last tune of the night.

Epic epic epic

WARNING! This is not a stereotypical wedding DJ! If you want a fast paced banging party, this is the guy! 3 days after our wedding my legs are aching from bouncing around to none stop banger after banger.

We set a big challenge for Seb - 5 different sets of music throughout the day and he nailed it. His knowledge of tunes is epic!

Set 1 - Festival warm up
Set 2 - Funky house / jazz / hip hop mix through dinner
Set 3 - Cafe Mambo style sunset mix
Set 4 - Garage mix
Set 5 - Headline set taking us through the ages of disco to dance (perfect for a wedding as everyone could get involved).

The dance floor proved how good he was as it was packed none stop and people struggled to leave in fear of missing out! The feedback from our guests was awesome!

I genuinely can't thank Seb enough for his support throughout the day and continuing to play when another artist was stuck in traffic and one of the bands wasn't ready to play.

I seriously hope to be on a dance floor again when Seb is playing! I could not recommend this guy more!

"Where did you find this guy?!"

Could not recommend Sebastian enough if you're looking for a DJ that ACTUALLY DJs! Music was really important to us, and Sebastian definitely delivered. I would recommend reading up on how he works and his process, because if you're looking for a guy who simply presses a button and walks off or accepts every dodgy song request from a drunken guest, he is not your guy. Since the day i've been told from guests that it was the best music they'd ever seen at a wedding, and the venue staff said it was the liveliest wedding they'd seen in a LONG time. Excellent communication, great fun and an overall nice guy. Book him if you can!!

Perfect Perfect Perfect

Wow! What a great experience we had with Offbeat Entertainment. Sebastian is a true professional and a very unique wedding DJ.

We were able to select a few songs that were important to us and then we left the rest to Sebastian. He did a fantastic job of reading the room and changing the music styles as the night went on.

He was also up for anything random that happened during the night- like impromptu games and dance offs.

When I told him that we would be partying on till 1am, not midnight, he was more than happy to stay, simply saying "where else would I be?"

Lots of our guests have told us after that it was the best wedding DJ they had seen. Never known a party where the dance floor wasn't empty all night.

He also captured some wicked videos of the night and offered to send us these after the event.

I will be recommending Sebastian and Offbeat Entertainment to my friends if they need a DJ.

Incredible DJ!

From start to finish he was amazing. Banger after banger.

He really takes the time to get to know your musical preferences, your must have songs/genres and songs you do not want.

We had multiple compliments throughout the night singing him praises on his performance throughout the day.

His suggestions on choices for special moments was really important and helped relieve some of the stress of getting the day just right

We had so much fun dancing and headbanging the day away. Thanks Sebastian for giving an already perfect day that cherry on top

Sebastian was absolutely brilliant at our December wedding!

He perfectly read the mood of the room, got everyone dancing and was very accommodating to any song requests during the night! We are so happy we booked with him and so grateful he made our wedding party so memorable.

Perfect soundtrack to an amazing wedding party!

Hiring Sebastian was truly the best decision we made when it comes to ensuring a successful wedding party! We hired him for the whole day so he was able to sort all the music for the aisle music and music in the ceremony (without any awkward pauses when you leave it to a friend!) as well as background music for reception drinks, dinner and then of course dancing the night away!

The whole process was really easy with Sebastian. He was very responsive, organised, extremely easy to talk to, and he was clearly able to get a sense of the 'vibe' we were going for, without us having to stress over providing an exhaustive playlist. His sound system was incredible. His song selection was perfect and was really able to read the crowd, moving from crowd pleasers to involve people of all ages, to then bringing in his own amazing mixes later on which really got everyone going. I had so many friends and family tell me we had made an amazing choice in DJ.

So do yourself a favour and choose Sebastian for the perfect soundtrack to your wedding party!

Top top DJ and great guy!

We hired Offbeat Entertainment for our NYE wedding at River Cottage. From the offset we knew we’d made the right choice. Sebastian’s attention to detail was exceptional, he was very keen to learn about the types and genres of music we liked and disliked, and tailored a playlist around our preferences.

Originally we wanted a band for our daytime entertainment and a Dj for the evening. However, after just a few minutes of speaking with Sebastian, we knew he’d be perfect for the full day, and we weren’t wrong. His music choices were perfect and he reads the room so so well.

The evening entertainment went so well, people started dancing to his sound check!!

Further to this, Sebastian is and all round nice guy, who very clearly loves what he does and takes so much pride in his job.

We really cannot think you enough for all you did to make our wedding day so special and memorable.

Wow - What a night! Not just any 'Wedding DJ'

Beyond amazing! We couldn't have been more impressed with Sebastian for his services. Where to begin....!
Groom is a sound engineer by trade and so straight away, a picky person! As a couple, we have travelled to various festivals, raves, concerts and gigs over the years and so we had a very wide (and conflicting) music taste. After too many bad wedding DJs, we were so relieved to find someone to take time and get a vibe of what we wanted rather than just 'rinse and repeat' the same old (safe) playlist. As music was really important for us, we booked for the whole day, as we wanted proper organisation of the music from start to finish. We probably spoke to Sebastian the most out of our suppliers, he took time to get to know our tastes and plan for the day and even was happy to accommodate a last-minute curve ball from the venue in what systems were available to him. His equipment was groom approved and sounded great, set up looked great and we have had so many comments about how fun the evening was, how good the music was and what tunes he was mixing and playing. He is a smashing guy too and no ego attached. Could go on for ages really - but book Offbeat with confidence for sure and enjoy your wedding evening!

Best. DJ. Ever.

Sebastian was incredible. The best testimony we can give is that I have never seen or heard so many people specifically talk about how brilliant the DJ was at a wedding. Sebastian was there throughout the day at our wedding, setting a wonderful tone and unobtrusively melding in our little requests and preferences to the background of the day. In the evening, he got the party started and maintained it. Always one step ahead of the game in terms of making sure people had a great time and stayed on the dance floor - skirting a perfect line between keeping it fun and familiar whilst avoiding the hackneyed and cliched. We can't recommend him enough!
