What is the length of time of the act?
We usually start around 7pm and finish around 11.30 or midnight. We can provide wedding breakfast services such as your providing your background music, hosting, our wirless mics and fun party games
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
Depending on the type of package this can take around 1 hour depending on the disco package bought. Some of our more premium packages includes backdrops/letters so the set up will take longer

Magical!! Simply the best in the Business!!
I can’t express enough how incredible our experience with Posh Discos has been! From the moment we met Neil and Kate, their passion and enthusiasm were absolutely infectious. Exactly what we were looking for!
Posh Wedding Discos were the perfect fit for us and our wedding. Music is really important for me, and I was very worried that I wouldn't be able to find a DJ that would let me have as much say in the music for the night as I felt I needed. Our wedding coordinator recommended Posh Wedding Discos and from looking at their packages initially, I felt really relieved and could picture the wedding reception I wanted!
Neil and Kate were brilliant from start to finish. They listened to what we wanted from our reception and on the night created a great balance of the (sometimes very random!) songs that I really wanted included, and songs that kept guests on the dancefloor.
One of the most special things was that during the wedding, we did a big traditional Slovak dance that involved all guests, and without us asking Kate recorded the whole thing and sent it to us afterwards - this was such a lovely surprise as with all the guests involved in the dance, no one else was able to capture this special moment.
The set up and lights really complimented our venue, and our guests really enjoyed the party props they included with our package.
We cannot thank them enough for making our evening so special and perfect, and we would absolutely recommend them to any couple!

Absolute recommend
Posh discos were nothing short of amazing from start to finish. They were faultless throughout. From the dance lesson so we wouldn't be doing an awkward shuffle to the big day itself, nothing was an issue. The genuine care and warmth they exude is just brilliant.
The sweet cart was a huge hit!
The tunes were perfect, and they took lots of videos and photos from their unique vantage point.

Best wedding dj’s ever
Posh Wedding Disco went above and beyond in every possible way for our wedding, honestly more than we could have ever imagined. They met with our events manager beforehand, scoped out the venue in detail, and came completely prepared so everything ran perfectly on the day.
They took the time to get to know us, remembered all our little quirks, and built a playlist that perfectly suited our taste in music while keeping guests of all ages on the dance floor. They even managed to sneak in and set up without anyone noticing, so smooth and professional!
One of the highlights was how they got the kids involved, letting them DJ and have a go on the mic, which made it so personal and fun for everyone. It wasn’t just a DJ set; they genuinely became part of our celebration.

Don’t debate just book
From the first booking to the last dance, Kate and Neil got everything absolutely right, every random request or ask was met. We first met Posh Wedding Discos at a wedding fair, and it was clear right away that they were the perfect choice for our big day. From the very beginning, Neil and Kate were enthusiastic, full of ideas, and genuinely excited to be part of our wedding. Their communication was outstanding — always quick to respond and happy to answer any questions we had.
We had a meeting with them before the wedding to go over all the details, and they made sure everything was just right. On the day itself, their service was nothing short of exceptional. We booked posh wedding disco at the very beginning of our wedding planning journey. They put us at ease from the moment we met them and have been in constant communication about the look and the vibe we wanted for the wedding! We had the most wonderful night dancing away with our friends and family and the props were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone there! We cannot thank you enough for an amazing evening!

Posh Wedding Disco - every day of the week!
We decided on a wedding DJ pretty late in the game after deciding that a phone playlist wasn’t going to cut it. We couldn’t have anticipated the relief we felt when Neil and Kate basically said, ‘hand everything to us and we’ll sort it’. From music choices, to entertainment, to being really personable with our guests - they were on it. Not to mention on the lower end of the price brackets we’d found locally who offered the same thing!
Our initial meeting over the phone was quick, efficient and informative - we were asked to send over a playlist of particular songs we wanted and left the rest up to them, once they knew our preferred genres etc. - this made it easy for us to navigate! We also chose our preferred style of set up (rustic - to go with our tipi venue), but they had multiple other options, too. We just chose the disco package, but they had all sorts of other wonderful things to offer, too!
On the night, they set up quickly, quietly and efficiently (so efficiently I hadn’t even noticed them arrive!) and then we got started with a bang; they brought the energy and introduced our cake cutting with a countdown and a spotlight for our first dance; then came the party. A complimentary box full of treats for guests to enjoy; glow sticks, light up foam sticks, sunglasses etc. and the music to join. From start to finish we had people on the dance floor having the best time.
The customer service was incredible; Kate checked in during the evening to see how it was all going (pre arranged during the phone call) but otherwise, they read the room and met their roles wonderfully, allowing us to enjoy our evening without a worry. A really special touch was letting some guests come up behind the decs and have a go for themselves - adults and children alike absolutely adored this and we had a mixture of 40+ year old women, down to 4 year old children enjoying the experience - what a treat!
We’ve also been sent videos that were taken by Kate and Neil as a reminder of what we got up to on the dance floor, reminding us of things we’d probably have forgotten, making it a long lasting, memorable experience.
We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Posh Wedding Discos to friends, family and strangers, and we can’t thank them enough - what amazing people they are!

Amazing team
We came across posh wedding on a social media post. We decided to enquire and from start to finish both Neil and Kate were so responsive, informative and helpful. The amount of different options available in regards to packages and equipment was outstanding. They were keen to help to ensure we had the best options to meet our colour theme and vision. On the day they were amazing, got the crowd going listened to our genre of music and what we invisiged. I could not recommend any more highly.

My wedding evening was a breeze and they even added some other small bits into my day that were perfect. We had the karaoke at night and was sure it would be a flop because people would be too shy; but it was the absolute highlight. They even liaised with my maids on a special song they had wrote for me and got everyone going.

Spectacular and an amazing DJ couple!
Well, what can I say about Neil and Kate. The perfect DJ disco duo, we couldn’t have asked for more on our big day. From start to finish Neil and Kate were just amazing. The services they offer and for the price are just spectacular. They both got stuck right into our theme as we were getting married at Wollaton Hall where they filmed The Dark Knight films, so it was all very Batman focused. They had an idea to play The Dark Knight theme music at the start and end of the night, and it was just an experience like nothing else I can describe. Goosebumps sums it up! All the guests made comments about how great Neil and Kate were, their attention to detail, their interactions with the guests, the positive energy, and just going above and beyond our expectations. They made our day even better, and I’m so sad it’s over! Thank you Neil and Kate, the perfect duo ❤️
