From our initial viewing to the big day the team at Newark Town Hall, Victoria especially made our rather bespoke day so special. They were so accommodating with our requests for a small and intimate ceremony and meal which meant our families were close and connected throughout the day which was our aim. The staff were friendly and professional and their support during the organisation was excellent, we really couldn’t think of a better value for money venue which gives a personal service and high quality food at a fraction of the cost of other exclusive use venues. Don’t be put off by the public element of being in the market square, parking nearby is easy and the venue hosts everything you need for a very special wedding.

The whole team at the Town Hall in Newark made us feel welcome and looked after throughout the process. Our previous venue cancelled on us 3 months before the wedding!!! Right from our first visit with Victoria, she relaxed us with the professional and detailed approach to our plans. Communication via email and messages was quick and easy to answer any queries and teak arrangements. Victoria liaised directly with any suppliers to ensure continuity.  Both Pete and Victoria were there on our day to ensure everything went to plan. Nothing was too much trouble and put us at ease throughout.
The venue itself is spectacular with the beautiful ballroom with high ceilings and the kitchen directly off it for easy access for the caterers, the balcony overlooking the market place is ideal for a photo opportunity, and for drinks later. Plenty of room especially if you include the council chamber and balcony. The bar is fully stocked and the staff were quick and efficient for our 120 + guests.
We were able to setup a day or two beforehand as there no bookings those days, which made the whole thing very easy.
The bridal suite was a finishing touch to allow the wedding party to get ready with makeup and hair. Food and drinks can be provided if required and they were delicious. All of this is at such a reasonable price compared to the price when you mention "Wedding" elsewhere. Well worth every penny.
