Cockliffe Country House is a historic wedding venue located in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire. This beautiful manor is over 300 years old and offers couples a peaceful and secluded setting to say 'I do.' Guests can look forward to a rustic retreat away from the hustle and bustle of city life and a truly wonderful wedding celebration. The country estate is easily accessible by the A60 and A614 motorways, making it convenient for out-of-town guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Weddings of up to 90 day guests and 150 evening guests can be facilitated at Cockliffe Country House, making it an ideal choice for intimate gatherings. The grand 17th-century house boasts a unique and enchanting French chateau façade, complete with arched windows and turreted corners. Striking historic architectural features create a beautiful backdrop for wedding photographs and film. Couples can exchange their vows in the elegantly decorated manor, where rich colours and antique furnishings evoke a luxurious and charming atmosphere. Afterwards, they can take a stroll through the estate's manicured grounds. The venue is available for exclusive use, allowing newlyweds to enjoy a private celebration with their loved ones.

Best day of our lives!
On the run up we were assigned a wedding coordinator- Emilie, who was wonderful. We had a sit down meeting in person and discussed everything and she fulfilled everything we wanted on the day. All of the serving and bar staff was professional and friendly on the day too. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, breakfast the following morning was included too for all the guests, again amazing! Only down side was that the room were very cold in the morning, (we got married in November)
The venue itself is a country manor and well maintained, grounds are well kept, the bar, toilets and main room were perfect and clean to an excellent standard.
But honestly the more incredible day, everything ran smoothly and again Emilie was perfect did everything I asked nothing was too much trouble, you can tell she has done so many weddings over the years and knew what she was doing I had no doubt in my mind we picked the best place for us!
Thank you again to everyone at Cockliffe! Worth every penny!

The room where the event took place is beautiful inside, the gardens are wonderful for photographs. The hotel rooms were lovely all our guests commented on how wonderfully we'll looked after they felt.

Such an intimate, friendly, cosy yet spacious venue. We loved everything about our day and our wedding dressers did us so proud compliment your gorgeous establishment with our lovely decor.
Sacha (our wedding coordinator) was a true professional from meeting her at the open day right up until leaving at the end of the day.
We will always be great for her help, calmness and how lovely she was with our little girl too.
The dinner service was exceptional and bar staff attentive although busy.
