The harp’s unique sound is the ideal soundtrack for romantic occasions. Professionally trained harpist Christine delights in adding to the ambiance of a couple’s day with her stunning repertoire. She will serenade your guests from the ceremony through to the drinks reception, lending her ethereal and eclectic musicianship to your special celebrations.

Christine Briggs (Nottingham Harpist) plays live at both indoor and outdoor events, using high-quality equipment and amplification to ensure the sound carries. Once you have booked Christine for your big day, she will arrange a complimentary consultation online or in person. This way, you can hear a taster of her style and musical selections and decide on which songs best suit your preferences. Christine offers a number of wedding packages, the most popular being her Wedding Breakfast Package. This plan includes the ceremony, cocktail reception, and celebratory breakfast.

I recommend getting in touch as soon as you have your venue booked as I take bookings up to 2 years in advance

Is it possible to request something that's not in the repertoire?
Yes, I can create your very own harp arrangement as an optional extra. I'll also send you an audio sample so you can hear your song before the day and listen back on it forever

I've been performing at weddings all over the UK since 2014
Do you have your own equipment?
Yes
Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?
Yes, i have some performance requirements such as enough space to play and a back up plan if you're celebrating outdoors
Can you travel?
Yes, i mainly perform in the East Midlands but can travel throughout the UK
Is there a charge for travelling?
Yes, i don't charge for the first hour of travel. Please enquire for an accurate quote
Do you cover more than one wedding a day?
No
Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?
I offer packages from 1 hour to 4 hours of performing
How much time do you need to prepare for an act?
I arrive at the venue 1 hour before I need to play but I can get set up in as little 30 minutes

Amazing! Truly completed the day!
We were blown away by Christine's talent and dedication. From the very first message, she was kind, clear, professional and communicative. What meant the most to us is that she took on learning a few of our favourite pieces of music just for the day, which she perfomed so beautifully!
Her music created the most romantic and elegant atmosphere throughout the ceremony and wedding breakfast, which many of our guests commented how lovely it was.
If you are looking for someone who goes above and beyond, we truly couldn't recommend Christine more! The whole booking process and communication couldn't have been smoother!

The entire process from booking, selecting the songs, admin, all the way to the day itself was seamless, stress free, and well organised by Christine.
We had countless compliments on the music throughout the day and are so happy that so many of our memories are to the soundtrack of her beautiful playing. She has a wonderful repertoire of songs, and whatever style you’re after she can absolutely accommodate.

An absolute must for any wedding!
We meet Christine at the Royle Forest Wedding fayre. After hearing her play the Jurassic Park theme tune on the harp (and nearly being moved to tears…for Jurassic Park, I know! Her playing is that powerful!), through the beautiful atmosphere she created at the ceremony room, we could actually picture ourselves getting married here- she sealed the deal for us at the moment, for her and the venue! We had so many tracks to choose from, her catalogue is huge! And if a track you really like is not on there she will create the harp version for you!
For our ceremony we also wanted the song Totoro from Our Neighbour Totoro, and she made a wonderful version for us.
Christine is a very talented and lovely lady, an absolute must for any wedding! We cannot recommend her enough!

Absolutely magical
We hired Christine to play at our wedding at Newstead Abbey on 27th June. The music was absolutely beautiful and I couldn't imagine walking down the aisle to anything else. All our guests commented on how wonderful it was, and how much they enjoyed it.
