Boasting a diverse repertoire that features classical and contemporary tunes, this group serves happy couples in and around the picturesque Cotswolds region. They have been playing together since 1988, and they strive to continue their superlative reputation. Ideally at least a month in advance, especially in the summer holidays

What's your experience?

Lots: we've been playing for special events since 1988! We are active, conservatoire-trained string players. Cellist Fiona has been the organiser and arranger of repertoire since 2006

Do you have your own equipment?

Yes

Do you need specific materials or conditions to offer your service?

Yes, we need shade from wind & intense sun to play outdoors, and enough light to read music by (indoors)

Can you travel?

Yes, oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Cotswolds, surrounding counties

Is there a charge for travelling?

Yes, may be applied if more than an hour's drive from Oxford or the Cotswolds, depends on which players are available

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Yes

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

With a team

What is the length of time of the act?

Usually up to 5 hours on site (Quartet), up to 3 hours on site (Duo), up to 2 hours on site (Solo)

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

With standard repertoire we are good to go at little notice, though we are usually booked months ahead

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

If agreed at least two months ahead of the event, as per contract. On the day: if the players are able to stay longer, overtime is as per the contract, payable by BACS transfer within a week

What are the forms of payment?

Identified BACS payment only. Sorry, no cash, no PayPal. The whole fee (or the balance) to be paid a calendar month before the event
