Looking for a wedding DJ who reads the room—not a script?
Hi, I’m Tom. I create relaxed, unforgettable wedding soundtracks for couples who want a brilliant party without the clichés. No cheesy interruptions, no over-the-top MC—just great music, smooth coordination, and a dancefloor that feels like you.
Every wedding is different. Whether you’re planning your first celebration or doing things your own way the second (or third!) time around, I take the time to understand what matters to you. Together, we’ll build a soundtrack that reflects your story—mixing timeless favourites, floor-fillers, and personal requests so everyone feels part of it.
I’m proud to work with couples of all ages, backgrounds and identities, and I create a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere where everyone can relax and celebrate fully.
From “I do” to the last dance
I can be there for as much—or as little—of your day as you need. From ceremony music and drinks reception through to a packed dancefloor in the evening, everything flows seamlessly.
- Ceremony music played in crystal-clear quality
- Background music for drinks and dining
- Professional microphone support for speeches
- Subtle, confident coordination of key moments
You get a friendly, experienced presence who keeps things running smoothly—without ever taking over.
Sound and lighting that elevate your venue
Your setting matters, and everything I bring is designed to complement it—not dominate it.
- High-quality sound at comfortable, balanced levels
- Elegant, programmable lighting that builds naturally from first dance to full party
- A neat, starlit DJ booth that can be styled to suit your theme—or kept minimal
If you’ve got creative ideas for how it should look, I’m always happy to help make them happen.
Extra touches, if you want them
For couples who want to add a little more atmosphere:
- Uplighting in your chosen colours
- Additional PA systems for outdoor or separate spaces
- Personalised monogram projection to make the space your own
Let’s make it feel right
Choosing your DJ is about more than music—it’s about finding someone you feel comfortable with. When you book me, it’s me you’ll work with from first chat to final track.
If that sounds like your kind of approach, I’d love to hear about your plans and help you create a day (and night) that feels completely yours.

Meet the team
Hello there! My name is Tom and I am the proud owner of Crossfade Disco. I’m the person you’ll have emailed or spoken to on the phone, and it’s me who turns up on the day to entertain you and your guests.
My passion for music has been heavily influenced by my parents and goes right back to my earliest childhood memories. I still fondly remember Dad teaching me the art of compiling mixtapes and recording the Top 40 on a Sunday afternoon.
I’m also a lifelong lighting and electronics nerd, which has perfectly combined with my love of music to create a fantastic sound and lighting experience in any venue.
Food and drink are also a big part of my life — I love a pint of ale and some proper hearty grub. Despite my rugby-player build, I’m a big softie at heart and absolutely love animals. At one point, we had as many as eleven guinea pigs at home when I was growing up! I love rabbits just as much as cats and dogs and, in a dream world, I’d have all three living together.
Having previously worked as a lorry driver, I enjoy driving my MAN TGE van to and from events almost as much as I love being behind the DJ booth, so I’m no stranger to travelling. I also recently rediscovered my love of cycling after fitting an eBike kit to my thirty-year-old Saracen mountain bike.
But nothing beats the sheer joy of making people happy. DJing isn’t just a job — it’s a way of life!
