I cannot recommend Max highly enough. He was DJ at our wedding and was stunningly good. He curated the entire sound throughout the day, moving from ceremony to canapes, dining to speeches, evening guest arrival, and then really got the party started and going all night! Max's attention to detail at every stage was exceptional, the transitions were seamless and the music very much set the perfect ambience at each stage of the day. He also liaised with and managed the rock band we had for an hour of the evening organising equipment, sound, confetti canons, just everything so that I didn't have to worry about a thing. He didn't just make it a great wedding, he very much made it our wedding in our style that our guests are still talking about now - THANK YOU MAX

We already knew that Max was a fantastic DJ as we’d previously attended some of his gigs-and so Max was always going to be our first port of call when we needed a DJ for our wedding in May 2025. What we hadn’t realised was that Max would be able to offer way more than what you’d normally expect from a DJ and that he could so effortlessly take much of the stress of the wedding planning off our shoulders - right the way through from administrative/logistical arrangements in the weeks and months leading up to our wedding day, to making sure it all ran perfectly smoothly on the day/evening itself. We can’t speak highly enough of Max’s professionalism, responsiveness and attention to detail, with the sole objective of ensuring that our wedding day was exactly how we wanted it to be… which was just magical. He’s also a thoroughly decent and lovely chap.

Where do I even begin?! Max Galactic was, hands down, one of the absolute highlights of our wedding. From start to finish, he was phenomenal. As a bride, the pressure to get everything right is real—but Max took a huge weight off my shoulders. He organised everything flawlessly: from the aisle music and pre-ceremony ambience while guests waited (including the delay when I was fashionably late!), to setting up outside when the sun came out—creating the perfect vibe while everyone enjoyed canapés and welcome drinks. Max made sure our first dance was magical, even trimming the track to just the right length so my partner and I, who are definitely not dancers, could still enjoy the moment without stress. And then? He kept the party alive all night. Every track was a hit, and our guests didn't want to leave the dance floor. We booked Max for our wedding pretty far ahead of time, and he was massively professional from the start. We had an initial phone call where he told me about himself and how he would approach the day, and I knew we’d be safe with him. Later down the line, he then made the effort to meet us in person at the venue, and he came full of ideas for how to make his part in the day absolutely perfect. On top of that, we then had a video call a few weeks before the big day to make sure we were all aligned in the vision. When it came to the day, he absolutely nailed it. We had various different components to the day that each had a different feel, as well as some very specific timings for various songs. He was there from the start to set up in time, perfecting the ceremony music (where we had multiple song switches), wedding breakfast, casino, and evening party. Max isn’t one of those DJs who flicks through a playlist and hopes for the best; he is incredibly skilled, switched on, and knows how to read the room and amp up the atmosphere (no pun intended…!) We booked Max for our wedding in December 2024 at Stone Barn in The Cotswolds. From the very first message enquiring with Max he was amazing and communication was seamless. We actually had Max DJing throughout the whole day, during our drinks reception, wedding breakfast and of course the party at the end! Max was so fabulous with listening to our requirements and also the type of music we were after! He even sent us a remix of Dancing Queen by ABBA which we walked in to our wedding breakfast with and it was the perfect song! Max’s CV speaks volumes about how experienced and talented this man is. But we can say first hand, just how impressive he really is. Max DJ’ed our wedding in Aug ‘24 and he made our wedding night the biggest and best party of our lives! We wanted our wedding party to include our favourite music from different times in our lives. Including 60’s rock and roll, 00’s cheese & pop punk, dance anthems and modern disco / Drum and Bass. Max was able to seamlessly transition between genres, keeping the dance floor packed for 5 hours straight and the room was just full of high energy and good vibes all night. Max has a talent for reading the room perfectly. All guests, young and old, danced the night away with huge smiles on their faces! All our guests have commented on what a fun night it was and mentioned how the DJ managed to cater for everybody’s different music tastes! We had a 30 min facetime with Max a couple months before the wedding and sent him a couple Spotify playlists (a day before the wedding, sorry Max!) to give an idea of what we were thinking and that’s all it took for Max to absolutely understand the assignment and nail it. On top of all this, Max is the perfect type of supplier you want when planning a wedding. Professional, efficient, good communication and a really nice guy. He has an awesome DJ booth set up, that we didn’t even see him put up on the day! Plus, he has the best selection of Jackets we’ve ever seen! We’re recommending Max to all our friends and looking out for where he’s booked next summer just so we can witness this man in action again! Can’t thank you enough Max!

Our review is based on a 150 person wedding and the experience Max gave before and during the event. September 2024!!

In the search for a wedding DJ / singers/ wedding bands, we searched through possibly hundreds of accounts. We decided early on that our main event act would be a DJ to cover most of the day and all of the evening, with a solo singer for a cocktail hour after the meal. The reason we landed on Max was because his videos and music style at multiple of his events on instagram massively appealed to us. We were quite conscious that a few of our friends had previously used DJ’s that they weren’t quite happy with and didn’t really accommodate guests. With the DJ being our main music act on the night we wanted to make sure we made the right choice. From the moment we reached out to Max, it was clear he was professional, but had the kind of love for what he does that you knew the music was going to be in safe hands, but so were we. Max was an unreal support for us from start to finish when it came to our wedding. From his in depth insight and advice when planning the music for the day & how our first dance would work (we had a friend singing as a surprise to the first dance and wanted a specific acoustic version that Max sorted for us), to actioning everything on the day seamlessly and bringing the absolute vibes. Max traveled around 4 hours to come to our wedding and arrived very early on the day. We had a sound limit at the venue, which was a surprise to us, and a venue host that was incredibly particular. Max handled the situation very professionally and made sure the event was a huge success and the venue were also satisfied as well. The dance floor was never empty, not once. This is the biggest testament to his talent!! Max also played for huge amounts of time and gave us so much on the day. He really did run the heartbeat of the event. He even accommodated some of our requests to tailor everything so personally to us. There was so much work that was done behind the scenes thanks to Max which meant we could just relax and enjoy the day - perfection! Also the nicest guy that got on with everyone and was a pleasure to have! Many of our guests have asked to write reviews about Max as he truly was unbelievable in every conceivable way. The mark of the man said, he’d prefer just one honest review from us, the bride and groom. And maybe our MC (a close friend) who Max worked really well with on the day to make some very creative spur of the moment moments, which we’ll always remember. I really wanted a DJ for my husband's 60th party but was really concerned about finding someone who 'got' our generation's music but also catered for the younger 20-30ish crowd. DJ Max did a fantastic job. He communicated early on, was clear in his thinking, suggested what would work and listened to my concerns. So the night began with me having few concerns about how it would go. As the evening progressed, he was happy to adapt the music and the volume according to my requests. The music was fresh - not just banging out the tracks but doing great things to make them sound fresh and up to date. Getting all generations on the dance floor is quite an art ! Professional, timely, organised and easy to communicate with, I have no difficulty recommending DJ Max.
