Mighty fine’s communication and organisation was excellent. Mark responded to emails quickly and was efficient at setting up meetings whenever we needed. We had a meeting to get to know him before committing and were confident from the start that we were making the right decision. He has so much experience and was able to give us honest advice about location, styles and song choices.
Mark read the room amazingly. We had a wide range of ages of guests and his music choice was excellent and catered to everyone’s needs. Everyone was dancing and some embarrassing dad moves were definitively seen! The playlist builder was so easy to use and had many ideas and playlists for potential first dance songs etc and it made sure that all our favourites and throwbacks were played.
We still had a full dance floor at the end of the night and have had so many people tell us how much fun they had and what a memorable night it was. The hangover was SO worth it the next day!
Mark is truly a professional and is will continue to make many other couples very happy. We would recommend him to all, you are guaranteed to have an excellent time.

Hi, I’m Mark — founder of Mighty Fine Events and a multi award-winning Wedding DJ with a lifelong love for music. I started DJing at 15 in Cape Town and later became part of the Manchester dance music scene, where my club night “Luvdup” gained international recognition and led to me being voted in DJ Magazine’s Top 25 DJs in the world.
Today, weddings are my passion. I specialise in creating personalised, feel-good celebrations where every track reflects the couple’s style. I don’t use cheesy mic chatter — just beautifully mixed music and a warm, professional approach that keeps the dance floor buzzing. I’ve been a national judge at The Wedding Industry Awards since 2016, and I handpick and train every DJ on the Mighty Fine team to the same high standards.
I’ve also worked as a producer with artists like Womack & Womack, M.People and The Charlatans, but nothing beats helping a couple create a soundtrack they’ll remember forever.
