The Cake Shop were amazing. We went for a free consultation where we got to try different kinds of cake and where we talked about what we wanted our cake to look like. They were very helpful and made the cake exactly as we imagined it. We had shared photos of ourselves and what we would be wearing on the day and they made comestible figurines that looked just like us, and added some beautiful flowers that matches our colour scheme. Everyone thought the cake was incredibly cute and delicious. Would definitely recommend!

We found Jess at Flour & Fold for our wedding after searching for a while! The whole experience from booking, designing, tasting and the actual set up on the day was just impeccable! Jess takes the time to understand your needs, she creates the most beautiful designs for you to chose from bringing your ideas to life which makes the decision making process so simple! Her taster boxes are stunning, she worked directly with our suppliers making life so easy which is incredibly important when planning so much. I’d highly recommend booking Flour & Fold for any event! Jess is just incredible 🤍

Miri was exceptionally responsive, flexible and helpful, even with a very short deadline. The cakes (red velvet wedding cake and two additional cutting cakes) were delivered to the venue in a timely way and in perfect condition. The cakes were moist and delicious, and we had lots of appreciative comments from guests.

I contacted The Cupcake Baker less than a month before our wedding after being let down by another supplier and Cathy very much came through. Very responsive communication and open to our needs, and very reasonable price as well. We got 3 different flavours of cupcake (red velvet, vanilla, lemon) as well as a cutting cake, with colours to match the theme of the wedding. Cathy came to set everything up for us and the display looked amazing. I didn't get to try a cupcake but I was assured they tasted great, and they all quickly disappeared which should give an indication of quality! The cutting cake on the other hand was all ours and was delicious. I would definitely recommend The Cupcake Baker if you're getting married in the Oxfordshire area and are looking for something a little different for your cake. Thanks again guys for getting this done at the last minute!

Oh my god, our cake was amazing! Because I have coeliac disease, we needed a fully gluten-free cake, and Sarah made the perfect one for us. From the start, she was so reassuring and knowledgeable about gluten-free and cross-contamination practices, which gave us complete peace of mind. We wanted something simple but classic, and she absolutely delivered — it looked beautiful and tasted even better. Our guests couldn’t believe it was gluten free! I’d recommend Cakeaways to anyone, especially fellow coeliacs looking for a delicious and safe wedding cake.

We have loved the whole process of going through lush looking cakes for our wedding cake. Amelia was so warming and friendly from day one. Unfortunately, on our taster evening, Amelia's oven had broken, but she still met us with an amazing attitude and we had a lovely chat about the design of our cake and cupcakes. She knew what we wanted from the get go. Generously, because of the taster not going to plan, Amelia delivered our tasters to our house in Wantage around a week later! We had the best time choosing which flavours we wanted. Our favourite was the salted caramel cupcakes and mango and passionfruit! Our main cake was BEAUTIFUL. it was exactly what we were hoping for. thank you to lush looking cakes for making that experience unforgettable. I cannot rate Vikki highly enough. She listened to my ideas and added her own to come up with a truly amazing cake for our wedding. We were thrilled with how it looked, and the taste OMG, IT WAS AMAZING.

We booked Cakes of Curiosity for our wedding cake after meeting Melanie at a Wedding Fair as we knew there would be no one better for our special day and Melanie proved us right in every possible way. Every single tier looked absolutely stunning and tasted even better than we could have imagined. Melanie even perfectly catered to our gluten free guest by creating him his own mini cake which tasted just as amazing as the main event! She made the whole process feel so special and the time, care and attention to detail Melanie puts into her work is unmatched—we and all our guests were blown away that the cake was handmade. Each sugar flower and decoration was impeccably made, so perfectly delicate but so realistic looking! What stood out even more was Melanie’s professionalism and support in the lead-up to the wedding. From our initial consultation and answering all our questions, to helping us decide on flavours and designing a cake that tied in perfectly with our theme — she went above and beyond to make everything stress-free. Choosing Melanie as our cake maker was without a doubt one of the very best decisions we made for the entire wedding. We feel so blessed to have found her talent and we’re beyond grateful for everything she did to make our day so beautiful (and delicious!).
