About

Hi, I’m Max — guitarist and founder of Amplifi Events, which I run alongside singer Connor. We’re a musician-led wedding entertainment company based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Over the years, we’ve built a trusted network of professional musicians and friends, curating a selection of live bands, DJs, and set lists (that we play in) to bring unforgettable energy to any wedding. From acoustic daytime sets to electric evening bands and DJ afterparties, we’ve provided entertainment for more than 250 weddings and love helping couples create memories through music.

We take pride in being run by musicians for music lovers — offering flexible packages and the peace of mind that your entertainment is in experienced hands.

Yes, included in quotation

Do you cover more than one wedding a day?

Do you work alone or do you have a team of professionals?

What is the length of time of the act?

We offer a variety of different packages, which determine the length of our performances and how often we play

How much time do you need to prepare for an act?

We ask our clients to allow us at least 1 hour for set up and preparations

Do you do open-air acts?

Yes

Do you charge per hour or per event?

Per event

If needed, would you be able to work extra hours?

Yes

How do you charge extra time?

We are flexible in this regard. If an event over runs slightly, we will be more than happy to continue playing, as long as this doesn't impact our arrival time at another show

What are the forms of payment?

Payment details will be disclosed on your invoice. We require a 50% deposit to secure the date and the final sum to be paid at least 14 days prior to the event

Amplifi Events played me down the isle and me and my husband back up and entertained our guests up to the wedding breakfast. Everyone was singing along and they accommodated all our requests for song’s learning new songs not on their playlist, couldn’t have chosen a better duo to play at our event, they were honestly amazing. All our guests and us had the most wonderful time whilst they played… can’t thank them enough … just brilliant 🤩 highly recommend!

It couldn’t have gone any better, they didn’t disappoint and will definitely book them again for any other family occasion… worth every single penny of what they charged. Our guests commented for weeks afterwards how good the duo was and how the atmosphere they created added to our wonderful day… best choice by far of everyone we were considering from the many wedding fayres we had been to…

Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Amplifi Events played our wedding and they were absolutely amazing. We had the acoustic duo for our ceremony and drinks reception, full band in the evening into the DJ for the late night party. In the lead up to the day they were super helpful and communicative. On the day they were obviously musically fantastic but they were also super friendly, kind and supportive on what can be a stressful day. Our guests absolutely loved them and we feel the same way. Would highly recommend them. Thank you so much for making our day so special!

Absolutely fantastic performance and a pleasure to deal with

We booked Max and his team for our wedding in March 2025, and they were fantastic from start to finish. Their catalogue of songs is very extensive, their performance was flawless, and their DJ set fit our wedding really well with just a few inspo songs from us. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for live music on their wedding day.

Pure magic.

We feel so lucky to have found Sunday Soul Music, they just do what they do so well. Walking up & down the aisle with them singing was pure magic and everyone comments on how amazing they were, a real highlight of our whole day.

We are so glad we chose Amplifi Events!

We booked Amplifi Events for our wedding and it was probably one of the best decisions we made! They played a great mix of different music.

The guests had a fantastic night and have commented on how fantastic the band were. They were also very easy-going and great fun, would highly recommend them to anyone planning a wedding! We are so glad we chose Amplifi Events!

A brilliant full day of entertainment

We booked Amplifi Events/Sunday Soul for our daughter’s wedding in March. We chose the full day package which included them playing acoustic music at the ceremony, drinks reception and supporting the wedding breakfast with background music and microphones for speeches. In the evening, they were joined by a third member of the band and they delivered a brilliant live performance and DJ set that kept guests dancing continuously. All our guests agreed they were fantastic and entertained us all day. Both Max and Connor were extremely polite and professional throughout. We were very impressed with how adaptable they were with a willingness to move between venues during the day, learn new songs and include favourite songs requested by the bride and groom. Thank you so much for making a perfect day even more perfect.

I just wanted to say THANK YOU to you all!

Before we saw you guys play at my cousins wedding, we’d really been struggling to find a band or DJ that we actually liked. But as soon as we saw you play, we knew we had to book you guys and we were so glad you were available. You are all super talented and the music added so much to our day. From the acoustic sets during the drinks reception which created such a lovely atmosphere, to the evening sets and DJing where the dance floor was full the entire evening!!! We honestly had the time of our lives dancing the night away and it was amazing to see all of our guests have such a good time too! Wish we could do it all again! So thank you very much again from a very happy bride & groom!

Sunday Soul are Amazing!!!! Strongly recommend.

Sunday Soul, wow, what can we say, you guys were brilliant!! Thank you so much for being part of our special wedding day at The Arches, Dean Clough. The live set and DJ was amazing all night, got everyone on the dancefloor and kept the party going all the way to the end, that’s all we could ask for. You were incredible, your videos do not do you justice because every single song you absolutely nailed from our aisle song to our first dance & I know that one was a hard one for you! From the moment they started playing at our drinks reception, right through to our wedding breakfast at Manor House, Lindley, Max & Connor’s incredible talent blew us away.

Perfect duo

Book these amazing people!! We had them for our wedding and everything was unbelievably perfect, whole crowd dancing and singing and we could not have hoped for more.

SUch a nice voice that can still bring the party element with a full professional setup and they absolutely smashed it. Absolutely book them!

Absolutely brilliant

Honestly couldn’t recommend these guys enough.

Amplifi Events played at our wedding back in March and we honestly couldn’t recommend these guys enough. We originally saw them at my cousins wedding and knew instantly we had to book them for our own day too. Communication from the get go was great and the booking process was really straight forward. On the day, they were super friendly and professional and kept us entertained and dancing all night long. The dance floor wasn’t empty at any point in the night and that’s all because of these guys. So if you’re looking for a band and DJ – book these guys now! You won’t be disappointed!

Made the day so much better

The boys were one of the best parts of the day.
Everyone loved them from start to finish, the set the mood for the whole day and the evening.
