Nelson absolutely smashed it at our wedding! 😂🎤
He had been around for most of the day, blending in so well that everyone genuinely thought he was one of the waiting staff. He had them completely fooled — especially the poor unsuspecting guests we had secretly picked for him to “fall” in front of!
He was so convincing that even one of our bridesmaids, who knew we had booked a singing waiter, genuinely thought he had fallen over and hurt himself. Her face was absolutely priceless! 😂
Then our innocent-looking waiter suddenly turned into the entertainment and from there it was brilliant chaos — singing, laughing, serviettes whirling around above everyone’s heads and then a full-on conga snaking its way around the barn with everyone joining in. It was absolute mayhem in the best possible way!
His energy and enthusiasm were infectious and you can tell he genuinely loves what he does. We had so many messages after the wedding from guests saying how amazing he was and how much fun he brought to the day.
If you want someone who can completely fool your guests, have everyone crying with laughter and then get a whole barn up singing and doing the conga, Nelson is absolutely your man. We loved every second!

We had Nelson as a surprise to all our guests during our wedding breakfast it was just incredible every single person in the room was up dancing and singing within minutes!!! Nelson really got the party started!!

We booked a Nelson for our wedding and he completely made our day. At first our guests had no idea what was going on, then when he burst into song the whole room was up dancing and laughing.

Such an incredible voice, so professional, and got the whole party started. We had guests of all ages and everyone loved him. He interacted so well with everyone and made it feel so natural and fun.

Where do we even begin? Nelson was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and we genuinely can’t thank him enough for everything he did.

From the moment he revealed himself, the whole room came alive. He had every single guest on their feet, smiling, laughing, singing, and joining in. The variety of songs was fantastic, and every one brought something different – from dance-offs and sing-alongs to the napkin swing and, without a doubt, my favourite part of the whole performance… the conga lines weaving their way around the venue! Looking around and seeing all of our favourite people laughing together and making memories is something we’ll never forget.

His acting beforehand was absolutely brilliant too. He had everyone completely convinced he was just another waiter! Even our mums and dads had no idea and were asking him for water while he was serving food. The table he dramatically “fell” in front of couldn’t have reacted any better – they were instantly up checking he was okay, which made the surprise reveal even more priceless.

What makes Nelson even more special is the person he is. He is so genuinely kind, friendly, and down to earth. He didn’t just come in, do his performance, and leave – he mucked in, helped around the venue, served food, and did whatever was needed without ever being asked. He cared just as much about making our day perfect as we did, and that meant the world to us.

Our guests genuinely haven’t stopped talking about him since the wedding. So many people have told us he was one of the highlights of the entire day, and we couldn’t agree more. He brought so much joy, laughter, and energy into the room and created memories we’ll treasure forever.

Nelson was worth his weight in gold and then some. If you’re even thinking about booking him, do it. We promise you won’t regret it. Thank you, Nelson, for making our wedding so unforgettable. We’ll be smiling about it for years to come.

We had VIP waiters perform at our wedding and they did not disappoint. Nelson was great working with us on the booking, which is so easy you just complete all your requests through a portal.. Dave was amazing! All our guests absolutely loved the performance, Dave was engaging and got everyone involved... it was definitely high energy fun, he even had all the groomsmen catch me in a re-enactment of the dirty dancing lift! Absolutely could not recommend highly enough :-)

Nelson was amazing and brought so much energy. It was so much fun from start to finish.
Watching a few of the guest looking worried and rushed over to help Nelson when he tripped over then the faces on everyone’s face when he burst into song.
Was great valve for money and Nelson was so professional.

I had booked Nelson for my wedding. Also this was a massive secret between Nelson and I. From the first interaction with him to then a very personal call where details were discussed, he delivered more than expected. His professional approach but also he made me feel relaxed at ease even though it was a stressful time. He went above and beyond!
His interaction with the guests at the welcome drinks, waiting at the tables with the wedding breakfast to washing up in the kitchen. Staff members were told he was on a trial with the hotel.
From the first song starting all 60 guests were on their feet cheering and clapping. This progressed quickly to then a conga ladies vs gents led by the bride and groom. There were several songs sang by Nelson and full cooperation by every guest.
Nelson, I had followed you on social media but I can honestly tell you that in real life it’s so amazing I will be recommending you for years to come. I was an extremely happy bride, with my husband and guest fully shocked by the surprise but a surprise well loved. You will be spoken about for sure.

Nelson was absolutely amazing in getting the party started at our wedding at the Weald of Kent on 25th June 2026. This was a surprise for my husband and guests with only 4 people knowing Nelson was attending. The concern from everyone when he fell over, it even took me by surprise and I booked him lol! I took a moment to take it all in and watch everyone as they rushed to help Nelson, especially with the heat guests were concerned he had fainted… until he got up and started singing his heart out. We hired Nelson as our singing waiter as he was a recommended supplier at our venue. We had met him prior to the day and he’d called a few times to catch up and make sure everything was as we wanted.
Fast forward to the day, and he blended in with the venue staff, working hard as a waiter all day before the big reveal.
He fell over and was so convincing that even my paramedic step mum (Who knew prior) was worried that he’d genuinely hurt himself!
The track choices were great, he got everyone joining in and participating! My favourite part was the Congo lines, we went all over the venue signing our hearts out to summer of ‘69!

WHERE DO WE BEGIN!!?!

Nelson was amazing from start to finish. You can hire a group of singing waiters but you don't need to, all you need is Nelson! He gets there early and puts a proper shift in all day - slots in perfectly and it's hilarious seeing him working away sneakily all day, waiting for his moment lol. He is the perfect upper for once everyone has eaten and drunk wine, to get everyone up and lively for the dance floor. Gets everyone up on their feet singing, doing the conga, waving those napkins - just amazing and money WELL SPENT! Have 0 negatives to say about Nelson - he was made to do it. Would like to get married again to have him there!!
