Hi, I'm Emma and I'm the artist behind Art by Emma Aspris. I'm a live illustrator based in Maldon, Essex and I draw your guests in a fun, comic style. Because I have a passion for comic art I feel that my style is quite unique. I capture peoples character in their poses and subtle details rather than creating realistic portraits. It's light-hearted, colourful and fun which is why so many guests love their illustrations. Its a wedding favour they won't be leaving behind!
Live illustration is becoming really popular because it adds something different to your celebration. It’s a great talking point during your reception and guests are genuinely excited to see their finished illustration.
I draw everyone in a way that people will instantly recognise themselves. I work without templates and draw each person in the exact pose from their photograph, capturing real proportions and personality.

Our guests absolutely loved having their portraits drawn, and it became such a fun and memorable part of the reception. It was wonderful seeing everyone excited to have their illustration done, and the finished drawings made such thoughtful and personal keepsakes for our guests to take home.

Emma was incredibly friendly, super professional, and did an amazing job with the illustrations.

Hi I'm Elise, Emma's sister. I help Emma on the day of events, helping her to setup her table, taking picture references of guests to turn into illustrations and film all the fun for Emma's socials.
I also handle enquiries, schedules, and all the little details that help everything run smoothly, so Emma can focus on creating beautiful artwork.
