I paint personalised watercolour illustrations of each guest at your wedding, so everyone leaves with a mounted keepsake of themselves on your special day. I add creativity, entertainment and elegance to your celebration, and your guests take home something they'll never forget.

What you get

How it works

1. Booking: We chat about your day and decide on a daytime session, an evening session or both.
2. Arrival: I arrive 20-30 minutes early to set up, free of charge.
3. Illustrations: I take a quick photo of each guest, then paint from the photos while the party carries on.
4. Take-home: Guests can take their artwork as soon as it's finished, or I can display the pieces somewhere lovely until the end of the day.

Recommended schedule
The most popular option is to arrive before the ceremony and paint guests as they head into the venue. That way I can start straight away and have a good number of paintings ready by the time guests move on to the next part of the day. An evening or post-ceremony slot can also be arranged.

Bonus

I like to paint the couple ahead of time so I can paint as many guests as possible. I will ask for pictures before the wedding so I can put you in a pose and suprise the guests and yourself on the day. This looks amazing on the table to have you already painted.

Travel
Free within London. I also cover Kent, Surrey, Essex, etc and am happy to travel further, with travel fees applied.

FAQs

What is included in the wedding package?
An individual watercolour illustration of each guest who wants one, mounted and in an envelope to take home, with names and dates on the artwork. I also photograph every piece so you have a digital copy.

How many guests can you illustrate?
Each figure takes 4-7 minutes, and in a 3-hour booking I typically complete around 25-30 PPL. About 70-80% of guests usually opt in. I'm happy to paint for up to 8 hours so if you have a large wedding, don't worry, I can stay for longer!

How far in advance should I contact you?
A lot of people book me a year in advance, but let me know your date and I'll see if I'm availlable!

What is the minimum booking?
3 hours is the minimum time as there is a lot of faff with taking pictures, packing them ect so I can make a greater impact after 3 hours. This is priced from £525.

Where do you travel?
Free within London. I cover Kent, Surrey, Herfordshire etc and I'm happy to travel further. Travel charges will apply.

What do you need at the venue?
I just need a table that can seat around 6 - 8 people and one chair. Please don't pop me near any speakers or next to heavy traffic areas like the dancefloor.

Do you work outdoors?
I can, but as you can imaging with watercolours, any hint of rain is bad! If it's windy, it's not ideal either as they just go flying everywhere. I'll need to be in a shaded spot with no breeze ideally.

Do guests have to sit for a portrait?
No. I take a quick photo of each guest at their table and paint from that, so no one has to pause the celebration.

Can you illustrate the couple as well?
I will illustrate the wedding couple before the wedding so you can get on with your day celebrating! It also means I can spend more care and time on it and I can make it A4 instead of A5.

What's your deposit and cancellation policy?
You'll need to pay a £200 non-refundable deposit to secure the booking. The rest is due 6 weeks before the wedding.
