Lindsey and Jay made our dreams come true. They provided excellent service, creative ideas and always gave prompt, professional communication. I’m so glad we chose them to style our wedding. They set everything up beautifully, and clearly had good relationships with the venue staff. I loved their insta pics of their blossom trees and arch, but in reality they were even more stunning. Thornton Events set our tables with perfection. Many of our guests still comment on how absolutely gorgeous our decor was. It was truly our dream day thanks to Lindsey and Jay!

We had the most amazing experience with Thornton Events. We met Lindsey at a Weddign Fayre at our wedding venue Peckforton Castle and we were instantly sold. Thornton Events made our dream come true making the ceremony feel like an enchanted forest. Their customer service knew no bounds they were always available to discuss ideas and talk us through the plans. The day was made stress free. They also worked within our budget coming up with creative ideas to keep the cost down.

Where to start! Thornton Events and Lindsey in particular were a dream supplier to have when it came to our wedding! Nothing was too much for her and she was amazing helping me create the atmosphere we were trying to achieve!
She made our ceremony room, reception and evening room all look absolutely beautiful using a variety of decorative flowers and candles! The candelabras were absolutely breathtaking and everyone had a ball with the selfie mirror and prop box provided!
From the email until even after the wedding she was super helpful providing me with all the information I asked for, was quick at responding and great at communicating with us the whole time! She even pointed me in the direction of other great suppliers when I had mentioned that I still had certain things to book and told me of the offers they had going on during the run up to Christmas!
We first looked at Thornton events due to the awards they have won (North West Venue Stylist of the Year two years running and Hitched Venue Stylist of the Year for two years running too!) and they did not disappoint! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking for their wedding!

2 months ago we had the pleasure of getting married at Peckforton Castle.
I contacted Thornton Events early in 2025 to discuss hiring them to dress the venue.
I gave them a rough idea of what I was looking for and they came back with a plan for the day.
I can't recommend them highly enough.
I was given lots of advice and ideas and the end result was just fantastic, the venue looked absolutely amazing, better than I could ever have imagined.

Thornton Events was the perfect choice for our wedding and we are so happy we booked them. From meeting them initially, through the booking process to the day itself, they were everything we wanted and more. Their decor fit the look we were going for perfectly and they were happy to make small changes, or suggest some themselves, to make it more personalised to us. They have an excellent selection of decor, meaning that you can have just the look you are going for, without it looking generic or too similar to someone elses. The set up on the day was so smooth and I felt confident knowing that we had left our decor in more than capable hands. Communication at all times was easy and efficient and any questions or last minute changes I enquired about were handled confidently. I would 100% recommend.

Wow! Thornton events truly made our visions come to life, they created more than we envisioned and we could not be happier. From the initial conversation right through to the big day they have been nothing short of amazing. With their professionalism, expertise and honesty it is not hard to see why they are a highly recommended supplier. We felt they really helped with our budget and was honest in saying items they felt were not needed- helping us save which was really nice of them. Highly recommend Thornton Events for wedding venue dressing. From the first time we saw their work, we fell in love with it. They are so friendly and helpful with all of your wedding plans, and know exactly how to get what you have in mind. We had a full meeting to discuss everything we were thinking and then left all of the hard work to them to put together all of our ideas and create a masterpiece! Can't put into words how breathtaking our wedding venue looked after you had worked your magic. Literally brought tears to my eyes walking into our wedding breakfast room and seeing what you had created, I couldn't have asked for anything more and all of the beautiful florals smelt incredible! You brought our vision of a gorgeous autumnal themed wedding to life.

Thornton Events were absolute stars throughout the process. The decorations were absolutely stunning, the quality was fantastic, and we received so many compliments on how gorgeous the setup looked. Their staff were genuinely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful, even sourcing specialised decorations to bring our vision to life. They truly made the day feel stress-free and special.

That said, it’s important to be aware of the additional costs. The base package is already on the higher side, and if we had needed any adjustments, such as moving decorations or setting up a backup plan for bad weather, the price would have risen significantly. These aren’t always things you think about when booking, but they can add up quickly, so it’s worth budgeting more than you might initially expect.

If you do have the budget, the end result is completely worth it, and I’d still highly recommend Thornton Events for their professionalism, stunning work, and lovely team.
