Amazing venue, this was our first ever venue that we visited a couple of weeks after getting engaged and we knew straight away nothing could top it. The staff, the building, the food were all amazing. 10/10 would recommend

We had the most magical day with the help of all the wonderful beamish hall staff from the wedding team and all the staff who supported us with rooms and the smooth running of the day. They were able to help us with every details and understanding of budgets and what was needed. On the day they were so attentive and focused on every little detail making sure it was just perfect. I am coeliac and were able to cater to dietary requirements to perfection. We are ever so grateful for making it such an unforgettable day from start to finish. Thank you for everything.

We had our wedding reception at Beamish Hall Hotel in September this year and it was the best day of our lives. I couldn't recommend Beamish Hall enough.
From the initial viewing and booking 2 years ago until our wedding day I must have asked 1 million questions and visited the venue a few times and I was always met with quick replies and the wedding team are extremely helpful and can answer any question no matter how little it may be. Especially Katie who I spoke to a lot and also did our final details meeting with, she was great!

The night before the wedding we had a lovely meal in the stables restaurant and myself and my bridesmaids stayed in the Charron Apartment which was amazing for getting ready in on the morning of the wedding, we almost had too much space! Which was great as no one was on top of each other and we could have hair and make-up in separate rooms.

We did get married in a church but from the minute we arrived back at Beamish Hall myself and my husband were met with a lovely cold drink and canapés so we didn't have to go looking for them while we were getting our photos taken. The food was amazing which a lot of my guests have since commented on that the portions were really good sized and tasted even nicer than they expected. All of the waiters and waitresses were fabulous also, very professional!

Myself and my husband felt like royalty on the day as nothing was too much to ask for and the amazing master of ceremonies was always there if we needed anything, Tony was great!

The venue itself is just incredible and a huge shout out to the groundsmen as the flowers and overall upkeep of the outdoors areas was fantastic! The flowers have truly made some of my wedding photos look even more amazing.

I could write so much more about how incredible our day was but I just want to say please book a viewing if you are considering Beamish Hall for your wedding venue as it was where I had always wanted to get married and it lived up to everything I had imagined and more!

Now we have come back to reality and out of our little wedding bubble...

We had a best time at this venue. Our guests loved the place and the food! It was a great day and the people working were really helpful with explaining what how the day ran throughout

The venue was so beautiful, and everything ran so smoothly. We really appreciated all of the time and care the team put into making sure the day went perfectly, it truly showed.

Our family and friends have been telling us how gorgeous the space was and how seamless the entire day felt. We couldn’t have imagined a better setting to celebrate.

The staff in the hotel and the stables restaurant were also fantastic. We could not fault a single thing about the couple of days that we had to celebrate our wedding. You really get what you pay for!!

The grounds were amazing and the gardeners do a fantastic job, it's beautiful! The whole team from the kitchen staff and cleaners all the way to management were amazing.

A wide-open landscape, perfect for romantic outdoor photographs. Perfect for autumn, like our wedding, which gave a perfect blend of autumn leaves and outdoor flowers for the photographs. A classic indoor ceremony hall, with an elegant tough and warm feel.

We first saw Beamish Hall at its wedding fair, and as soon as we viewed Beamish Hall our minds were made up, it’s a stunning place for a special occasion. We had so many first time visitors to the North East who commented on how nice Beamish Hall is. From all visits prior to the wedding you can see attention to detail keeps the place looking beautiful at all times of the year.

Whilst the venue is amazing, it was the staff that helped make the wedding special. From our first meeting to book the venue everything we wanted or needed was catered for and every question answered. All of our suppliers all made comment on how easy it is to work with Beamish Hall and the staff.

On the day, the Beamish Hall team were superb. A welcome drink was waiting outside for us… even braving the wind and rain of storm Amy. The service was first class, not a single member of the team failed to congratulate us which was a lovely touch. We especially enjoyed watching the wedding breakfast service from the top table, it was incredible how efficiently the team got round our guests tables.

Special praise for Megan, our coordinator on the day, she was absolutely fantastic. Friendly, patient, polite. She helped us with all of our needs on the day and kept the day flowing nicely - she’s a real credit to the venue. Thank you!

We celebrated our wedding at Beamish Hall on 5th September 2025 and had the most incredible day. The venue was stunning, and everything looked perfect. Beamish Hall Extras did a fantastic job with the styling, and the staff were attentive and helpful throughout. They made sure all of the items and details we brought along were set up beautifully, and nothing was too much trouble—for example, when we needed extra chairs for our hair and makeup team, they were brought to us straight away.

Communication during the planning stages was generally excellent, with prompt replies to our emails and clear answers to our questions. The only slight hiccup came when the coordinator who completed our final details meeting left without passing on the information, meaning we had to go through everything again just three weeks before the wedding. This caused a little stress and some back-and-forth to correct details, but in the end, everything was sorted and the day itself ran smoothly.

On the morning of the wedding, we felt there could have been a little more guidance. For instance, the father of the bride was unsure when he needed to be in position and had to be tracked down by the bridesmaids and photographer rather than being prompted by the team. There were also a couple of small oversights, such as prepaid drinks for the top table not being set out initially, though this was quickly rectified once mentioned. Additionally, we had enquired about using a projector for the best man’s speech and were told there would be a £60 charge. While we completely understand that venues have additional hire fees, it did feel surprising given the overall cost of a wedding here.

That said, these were all minor issues and didn’t detract from what was an amazing day. Our guests have since commented on how wonderful everything was, and many have said they wish we could relive it all over again. We’re so grateful to the team at Beamish Hall for helping us create such special memories.

From the first time we visited Beamish hall we knew that this was our wedding venue, Lauren and her team helped us through every step of the way there to answer any questions no matter how big or small they even tailored the package so that it met our needs, quick email communication and telephone calls to catch up with us to see how the planning was going.
The day itself was stress free thanks to Lauren and tony who are amazing and couldn't do enough for us they went above and beyond to the point Lauren even went out to the petrol station to buy wipes for our baby when we ran out, the personal touches were second to none. The venue itself was beautiful with great food and drinks choices and everything tasted amazing.
Tony assisted us throughout the day ensuring guests were in the right place at the right times and coordinated alongside Lauren to ensure a stress free experience
All of our guests had nothing but nice comments to say about both of them as well as the venue
I would say it is excellent value for money and a great venue to suit any style of wedding with the versatility

Beamish hall went above and beyond with all of our guests and also our suppliers and the wedding team assisted us with finding different suppliers and giving us suggestions for decor and timings etc

We would highly recommend anyone to consider looking to book here and we couldnt have asked for a more perfect and magical day

What can we say about Beamish Hall... The weddings team was amazing from start to finish, and they went above and beyond to make sure that our day ran smoothly. Both Katie and Annabel worked hard to ensure that we were in the right places at the right time, such as our first look in the birdcage gazebo. They also collaborated well with our suppliers and moved our guests seamlessly between the ceremony and reception spaces. We are over the moon with how our wedding day turned out and could not thank Beamish Hall enough for their support throughout the planning process.

As soon as we got engaged I knew it would be beamish hall, it's just absolutely amazing! We went to have a look round and it just ticked the box even more, everything about it was exactly what I wanted for my wedding day! All the staff were amazing and nothing was ever a bother for them, my emails were replied too pretty much straight away, every time I asked a question one of the lovely girls didn't just answer it they made sure I understood and was happy. The day of the wedding was more than I ever imagined, I have no words! The decor was unreal and the rooms just looked flawless and everything went more than perfect!! I would without a doubt recommend beamish hall, from start to finish it was just amazing!!

From the very beginning when choosing the venue on February 14, 2024 to the end of the night on our wedding day on July 12, 2025–everything was seamless. We want to give a huge shoutout to Lauren, Dean, Helen, and all of the Beamish Staff for making our day unforgettable and so perfect. We live in Dallas, TX, and it was no easy thing to plan a full English Wedding from afar; however, the team made it so much easier. I was able to visit twice to England before we got married. The grounds are perfectly kept with seasonal flowers, the staff is SO responsive answering every minute detailed question I had any hour of the day despite the time change. A few weeks before the wedding, Dean met with us on zoom and made sure we had every detail accounted for. On the actual day of the wedding, the team—Dean, Tony, and Annabelle—made sure we well taken care of! We really appreciate the level of care and effort in making our day so great. We are forever thankful and grateful we chose this venue. It was worth every penny. From the decor, to the food, to the management—to beyond, we can’t rate this venue highly enough.

We recently had our wedding at the Beamish Hall Hotel on July 4th. We had half our guests coming over from America and half local, and ALL were blown away with the level of service and care that the Beamish Hall team provided! From a planning perspective, I can’t rave enough about how incredible the wedding team is. I worked primarily with Lauren, and even with a newborn she was extremely communicative, patient, and helpful! On the day, the entire Beamish Hall staff made sure we were looked after. The gardener has done an immaculate job with the landscaping (can’t wait to get more pictures back!). The event staff was fantastic. Everyone cares and you really feel the love.
