Dave made everything feel easy for us. Wedding planning can be really stressful, but he turned the ceremony part into one of the most relaxed and enjoyable bits of the whole process.
We were really determined when looking for a celebrant , that we wanted to have fun, laugh and be relaxed when we said our vows.
Dave definitely help us achieve this.
He was organised without being stuffy and detail-oriented without making us feel like we were being interrogated.
He was laid-back, and personable and very easy to communicate with!

We can't begin to explain how perfect our ceremony was.
Dave told our story better than we could have imagined.

He gave it the perfect amount of emotional depth while really understanding and showcasing our personalities.

Our guests absolutely loved him as well! We've lost count of the number of people who told us how brilliant he was. Several guests said they wished he could have stayed for the rest of the wedding, and honestly, so do we! (HUGE regret on our part for not hiring him to MC after the ceremony!)

Dave was truly exceptional as both the celebrant and toastmaster for our wedding (Mr & Mrs Williams). From the very start of the ceremony right through to the final moments of the evening, he brought BIG ENERGY, warmth, and calm to every part of the day.

When we started looking for a wedding celebrant, we wanted someone who could strike the perfect balance between heartfelt and personal, while also bringing joyful energy to the day. We found Dave Octave on Google and, after watching a few of his videos, it was clear he was exactly what we were looking for.

He arranged an initial meeting with us, and we instantly bonded with him. We didn’t just book him as our celebrant, we asked him to be our MC for the day too. In the lead-up to the wedding, Dave supported us brilliantly, with phone calls and guidance on writing our vows and speeches. He offered thoughtful advice and made the process feel really special.

On the day itself, Dave arrived punctually despite hitting heavy traffic and took charge (in the best possible way) of the entire day. It was incredibly hot, and not easy to deliver a service in a jacket under those conditions, but he did so flawlessly. The ceremony was wonderful, full of warmth and personality, and the energy from everyone was just amazing. Dave was adored by all of our guests, while remaining calm, professional, and exceptionally well-organised throughout.

Every time I turned around to try to sort something out, Dave was already there, handling it for me. He took all the stress out of the day so we could truly relax and enjoy every moment. He’s a wonderful person, exceptionally good at what he does, and we honestly wouldn’t want to run any kind of event without him. We wouldn’t hesitate to hire him again.

Dave was an absolutely FANTASTIC celebrant. From the get go, we knew he was the celebrant for us because he was so much fun. He really took the time to find out our backgrounds, our story and made the whole ceremony so personal. When we got our first draft through of the script we were just BUZZING as he captured our vibe perfectly. On the day, he again was fantastic and he really got the party going from the get go! All of our guests said how much they enjoyed our ceremony and how amazing Dave was! WE LOVE HIM!

We honestly can't thank Dave enough for everything he did for us. After being let down at the last minute, he stepped in and completely saved our wedding.
