I am Arabella Wilde, also known as A Wilde Celebrant, and I'm an independent wedding celebrant based in Deal, Kent (although I'm more than happy to travel to wherever you might need me!). I am eloquent and creative, love to raise a smile and a laugh and can write a deeply heartfelt ceremony because I really do take the time to get to know my couples. Together we can create a really special ceremony that captures everything about your story, often including elements that will bring a laugh and a tear to the loved ones who are watching. I am dedicated and passionate about my work and want the day to be perfect for you.
Services Offered
I offer a full-service package. This will begin with a discovery call that I generally do as a video chat. This is the moment we first meet and gives you an opportunity to decide if I am the right person for you. There is no obligation with this call, I know how important it is to have a celebrant you feel a connection with, and you should speak with as many potential celebrants as you need. If you decide I am the right match for you, I'll send over a contract which I ask you to sign and return with a 30% deposit, this locks the date in for you. I will then make a date to meet you in person, this is a chance for us to get to know one another and to talk about your vision for the day, and for you to ask me any questions you might have. Approximately 6 months before the day, I will send you a couples questionnaire which will form the base of my script. Once you send them back to me I will begin writing and will send over the skeleton script as a starting point from us to work from. From this point on we can work together making any changes and adjustments, you might want to add someone to read or include a symbolic ritual - I am happy to make changes right up until two weeks before the ceremony. I am also available to help you if you'd like to write your own vows and if you'd like a rehearsal the week before, I can do that with you too (for an additional charge). I can also help with advice on music, readings and poems and we can discuss symbolic rituals. This is your day, so it's very important we get everything exactly as you want it.

Arabella - A Perfect Celebrant
From the first call we just knew instantly that she was going to be our celebrant. We had a few calls with other celebrants, but no one was Arabella! She has such a warm and loving energy which is so wonderful. She listens to everything in such detail and explained our love story better than we ever could. She was on hand with anything we needed throughout the entire process and never made us feel like we were bothering her.
Our ceremony was perfect. So many people have told us how personal and how ‘us’ it was. The wind was blowing (very aggressively) and although we couldn’t feel our hands, Arabella stayed professional, smiley and was brilliant throughout. She is also hilarious!
Don’t even think have a think about choosing Arabella as your celebrant - JUST DO IT! It will be the best decision you make for your special day.
I don’t have enough lovely words to describe Arabella. She was incredible from the moment we met, and we hold her so dear to our hearts that we will definitely be meeting for a coffee in the near future! She will never be getting rid of us!

An Unforgettable Day
We weren’t just planning a wedding but a fashion show at Milan Fashion Week, merging two of our most important moments ever into one unforgettable event!
Arabella handled this with style, was completely cool and calm and put us at ease facilitating all our anxieties and ‘what ifs’! Officiating a wedding is no small feat, but doing so amid the chaos of Fashion Week during a show takes a gift which is so incredibly rare to find. Arabella connected it all so seamlessly, weaving together our intimate personal journeys - the dogs, the fashion and (with consent!) all the salacious details which our guests and audience loved. Her words were personal and deeply considered and filled with warmth and humour.
Arabella is warm and incredibly charismatic and brought things together in a way I never imagined possible - and I know that no matter what milestone or occasion, she will bring the same grace to make it a truly exceptional service.
The perfect celebrant
She took the time to get to know both me and my partner with a really fun questionnaire and then wrote the most perfect ceremony script inspired by our answers.
She then gave us the opportunity to tweak whatever parts we liked – changes were minimal! She has a natural flair for writing and was able to get some jokes in at the beginning and round off with some really moving words. The structure of it was fantastic.
The ceremony was the absolute highlight of the wedding, many people came up to me and my partner just in awe at how lovely Arabella was and how beautiful the ceremony came together.
Arabella was very flexible; my partner's father has dementia and there was a moment (even just a week before) when we didn't know if he'd be able to make it. She had a plan for if this was going to be the reality and to ensure he was mentioned in the ceremony, if needed, to be in our minds. Luckily he could make it so that was a blessing.
Arabella's ceremony moved our friends and family to tears, had laugh out loud moments and left a big smile on their faces as they all walked into the wedding breakfast.
You cannot go wrong with her, she's brilliant.
