Vicky is a joy! Our ceremony was wonderful and that is because of Vicky's talent, warmth and spirit.

Prior to the ceremony, Vicky spent a few hours getting to know us, really building an understanding of who we are and what we wanted. She then, somehow, distilled this brilliantly and flawlessly into our ceremony. She delivered her words with confidence, warmth, emotion, and humour. It was genuinely perfect.

The first thing our guests said to us was how much they enjoyed the ceremony and that it was so unique to us. Everyone loved Vicky and so did we. It truly made our wedding day special.

Vicky was incredible at our special day at Bromley old town hall. From start to finish, she took the time to get to know our story and truly made the ceremony feel personal and meaningful. The words she chose were perfect – so heartfelt and genuine. She took time with us on vows and words ahead of the ceremony and organised a walk through to make us feel at ease.

She was amazing with our guests and family, making everyone feel involved and comfortable. Vicky even helped organise the confetti shot and guided everyone so effortlessly – her energy and attention to detail were just spot on!

From the get go, our experience with Vicky was absolutely fantastic!

I first met Vicky at the wedding showcase for my chosen venue and at this point, I didn’t know very much at all about the role of a celebrant or what a celebrant ceremony would be like. However, what I did know was that I immediately loved Vicky, as did my mum and sister who I took to the showcase, and went home at told my fiancé that we needed to book with Vicky!

Vicky has a wonderful way of making you feel completely at ease and the whole process felt so personal, yet professional, and we felt in good hands from the outset.

Having Vicky as our celebrant meant that we had a ceremony completely personal to me and my fiancé, which we couldn’t recommend enough!
We had a couples interview with Vicky which was so enjoyable and felt like we were just chatting with a friend, and also a really lovely chance to reflect on us as a couple and our journey up until this point which was really nice to be able to do during the busy period of wedding planning!
(On that note, Vicky was super flexible and very accommodating, liaising with us in person and via email and text which was great.)

Vicky then used our interview to write a script for the ceremony which not only captured us perfectly as a couple, but it made our guests laugh, shed a tear and entertained! Our guests couldn’t compliment Vicky and the ceremony she hosted enough.

I remember saying to Vicky that I wished she was coming to the reception that followed which I truly did mean as we and all our guests think she is brilliant!

Choosing Vicky as our celebrant meant we had a super fun, relaxed, romantic and thoughtful ceremony, which is a really memorable part of our wedding day for all the right reasons.

We are beyond thrilled with the incredible job Vicky did as our celebrant at The Old Kent Barn! From our first Zoom meeting, we knew she was the one. It felt like we’d known her forever. The connection we built with her was more like a friendship than anything else, and that truly shone through during our ceremony. From the moment we met Vicky we knew we needed her to create our wedding ceremony. The joy that shines out of her is totally infectious and puts everyone at ease instantly.

The whole process was great from the interview to get to know us, we had a great time chatting and it felt like we'd all known each other for years, through to the pre wedding run through and the actual day.

The ceremony writing process was so also great and Vicky was super open to comments and tweaks when she sent the draft through which really made us feel like we'd crafted together.

Vicky put so much effort into the prep, which took a huge amount of pressure from us as we knew that this part of the wedding (the most important part!), was so well taken care of.

Our couples’ chat was so enjoyable – we’ve never had anyone take such an interest in our love story before. We were expertly interviewed in a very relaxed and fun way by Vicky and it was a lovely bonding moment, not just with Vicky, but also for us two as a couple.

We were then delivered a fantastic ceremony script which perfectly captured us as individuals and as a couple. She also helped us with readings and anything we asked of her.

Vicky came to the venue the day before for a walk-through to make sure everything was set and we were happy, which we were.

Our guests were blown away with the ceremony and so many said what a privilege it was to get to know more about our relationship and I think it really helped everyone feel a part of the wedding – which is quite an achievement with 190 guests. She had people laughing, cheering and crying – all in the right places. It was a real celebration of us as a couple and our lives and love for each other and was the perfect representation of our relationship. It set the most perfect tone for our wedding - we wanted it to be full of love and fun and that is exactly what Vicky brought to the ceremony and it continued thereafter.

I wish we had also asked Vicky to be our Mistress of Ceremonies as we didn’t have somebody to do this role and I know Vicky would have done a fabulous job.

Vicky is a true professional and has the most amazing energy and she was loved by all of our guests – ‘Best ceremony ever!’, ‘The celebrant was incredible’, ‘I want to get married again so she can do my wedding’ and ‘We weren’t expecting such a personalised and beautiful ceremony, it was amazing!’ - were just some of the many comments that we’ve received.

I would recommend Vicky to everyone - she was absolutely fantastic and really made our day!

Vicky is an incredible celebrant. She guided us through the process with such care and understanding - enabling us to share our stories, whilst at the same time, turning them into the most joyous, honest and heartfelt “couples story”. Vicky was absolutely fantastic on the day. She has such charm and warmth, and immediately had all our guests in the palm of her hand. She set the tone for the whole day - one of total love and laughter. She is serious when she needs to be, but always has a lightness of touch. It was the perfect balance. In fact I’m not kidding, when I say every single guest came up to us after the service and said they had never seen a better celebrant. We could not recommend Vicky more highly. I guarantee hiring her will be the best decision you make for your big day.

Vicky went to great lengths to make it a very special wedding. We met with her several times beforehand, with her always bringing ideas, excitement and a sense of fun. She gave us the confidence to personalise the whole day, and always listened to what we wanted and adapted. There was never any sense that this was about what she wanted - she was always focussed on enabling and encouraging and ensuring love, and “our story” was at the centre. She was calm and hard working and while, she was a really good laugh, she also took the whole thing very seriously.

The day was perfect, due in large part to Vicky. She was punctual, professional without being po-faced, was dressed very stylishly and read the room brilliantly. She delivered everything we had agreed, and make sure it was full of love, warmth, sometimes silliness, something seriousness, sometimes spirituality (without ever being woo-woo or heavy). She had us alternately in tears and laughter, helped us talk openly about people we had lost who couldn’t be there with us, and she went with the flow when a kid and our dogs did the wedding version of an unscripted pitch invasion. I felt she led the day for us and allowed us to be honest and open within it which takes real skill and emotional intelligence.

I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Vicky whatever age, background, ethnicity or sexuality of the celebration. She felt an important and intrinsic part of the day and as a result made the memory even more vivid and romantic. She is a very special human being with a really unique gift.
