We had a one hundred guest wedding and the team from Dood and Frink were beyond anything we imagined. From our very first conversation, Ryan made us feel completely at ease. We had a clear idea of the atmosphere and style we wanted but also a strict budget, and he managed to bring our vision to life without ever making us feel like we were compromising. His creativity, knowledge and attention to detail were evident from the start. On the day, we had a full kitchen team and a full front of house team and they worked so seamlessly that it felt like watching a well choreographed performance. The kitchen setup was impressive and ran with such precision that every plate arrived fresh and beautifully presented. Considering the size of our wedding, the level of organisation was outstanding. Frankie and the front of house staff were just as incredible. They looked after our guests with so much warmth and professionalism. Drinks were topped up without anyone needing to ask, tables were managed perfectly and both myself and Alex were constantly checked on to make sure we were enjoying ourselves and not missing a moment. The food was a highlight of the entire day. It is rare to serve that many people at once and have every single guest comment on how delicious everything was, yet Ryan and his team managed it effortlessly. You could taste the care and skill in every dish. What stood out most was how personal the whole experience felt. We never felt like just another booking. Ryan listened, adapted and made sure everything reflected us as a couple. They delivered far more than we expected and created a day we will never forget. We are so grateful to the entire Dood and Frink team and would recommend them to anyone planning a large wedding or event. They are truly exceptional.

Booked World Pizza world for our wedding in Devon in June 2025. They were fantastic, great communication before the event. All of the pizzas were delicious and guests were all very happy! Would definitely recommend thanks so much!

Buen Apetito were incredible caterers for our Devon based wedding. I had complete faith in their experience and knowledge, and within one meeting I was able to relax and not think about this crucial part of the day, knowing they were all over it! We wanted to create a more community feel for the food, and this happened so organically. Also, obvs, the food was delicious! Highly recommend.

Ben and his team were incredible, they were actually the first vendor we booked almost a year and a half before the wedding. They were the only caterer I felt that was as genuinely excited and passionate for our wedding food than we were. They were totally flexible with our wants, needs and budget and were even just fun to chat to. The team went above anf beyond on the day including supplying me a gravy fountain, my husband his own dinner and helping carry something for my dad's speech. Could not reccomend these guys more, we even invited them to stay longer after the wedding which they professionally declined haha! Our guests could also not stop talking about how tasty the food was and I had many people asking for recipes day after the wedding. Definitely incredible service and I hope they have even more successful weddings in the future!

We used Smoking Embers for the catering at our recent wedding party held at our farm. As it was a very informal celebration we opted for skewers cooked on a barbecue and a selection deserts. We met Jack prior to the event who talked us through all of the options and provided some samples. Delicious. Also discussed any specific dietary requirements and any allergies. On the day the team from Smoking Embers set up their cooking station independently from the main marquee. The staff who attended were brilliant, kept us informed as to what was going on, when food would be ready etc. When the food was ready everyone tucked in. The food provided was nothing short of stunning. The kebabs, chicken, beef, seafood and vegetables were cooked to perfection on an open barbecue and served with Greek style salads. A few of our guests were involved in the fine dining industry and all commented on the quality of the food. High praise indeed. Deserts were again sublime. The Quantity and quantity of food available was excellent and everyone had their fill. I was rather hoping for some left overs to have the following day but everything was eaten. Again a sign of the quality of the food. After the event the team packed away their cooking station and bagged up the recyclable plates and cutlery. You would not know they had been there. To sum up, brilliantly cooked and presented food, by fantastic staff who went the extra mile. All done with one eye on the environment and using recyclable products. One thing I haven’t mentioned is cost. Well let me say that catering for 70 guests using Smoking Embers was more cost effective than a basic hog roast. Would I recommend using Smoking Embers? YES in a heartbeat. Jack, thank you and your staff for making our wedding celebration such a memorable occasion.

It was so so amazing to have Bev and her team as a part of our big day! Bev was so professional, answering all queries quickly and nothing was an issue for her! The ice cream was delicious and it was so great to have so many flavours available to us! All of our guests loved the ice cream and said it was a fantastic thing to have after the ceremony! Perfect for the sunshine!!

The Pizzas very lovely! We also salad and garlic bread with our 3 pizza options and they were all equally good. Everyone enjoyed the food and very happy! Thanks again!

Pickle Shack really nailed it. From being at the end of the aisle with our welcome drinks, to serving pizzas in the evening. The food was delicious and the quality was consistently good for all our guests. The staff were helpful and attentive. We had a fantastic day and Pickle Shack was a huge part of that!

As a wedding planner, I had no doubt in choosing Milkshed to cater for my own Wedding at North Cadbury Court. A venue they had rarely worked at previously, but took it completely in their stride. In summary, Milkshed were very professional, friendly, detail orientated and their food was incredible! We booked Milkshed to not only do the wedding breakfast but also a brunch the following day and a BBQ down at the Yacht club. After securing them, Katie familiarised herself with the venue and put together a clear function sheet for me to work on during the planning. The menu we requested was bespoke to us and our food preferences which we were so pleased we could do. We are BIG foodies so we wanted to recreate some of our favourite meals for our guests to enjoy with us and with Milkshed's suggestions they came up trumps - I wish I could eat it all again :(. We took full advantage of the food tasting and even stayed in their accommodation which was SUCH a lovely experience - I would highly recommend to couples looking to have some special time away for just the two of you to talk all things wedding planning :). During the tasting we had the opportunity to make any minor tweaks to our dishes and run through the logistics of the weekend and in the lead up to the weekend, no detail was left unturned. The Milkshed team went above and beyond our expectations in ensuring they delivered for us. At the weekend they were so good in just arriving and getting on with what they needed to do without bothering or worrying us. The food was cooked to perfection and the services was super slick. They even had the trouble with working around the venues powercut for breakfast the following day but with only a slight delay they were unfaultered - I didn't have to worry about a thing. They also had no issue setting up the BBQ down at the Yacht club which I expect was logistically challenging. We are honestly so thankful to Katie, Mark and the team for everything they did for us for our wedding weekend. They truly helped to make it feel so special and perfect for us. They genuinely care about delivering good food and service which is so pivotal at a wedding. They also care about working well with other suppliers which helps to make the day feel less stressful and more meaningful. Thank you so so much for being absolutely incredible - I can't wait to work with you again! xx
