Meet the team
I am an award-winning chef, dedicated forager, and passionate teacher of all things food. Cornwall born and bred, I know everything worth knowing about my homeland and its bountiful offerings, having explored its hidden nooks and crannies on land and sea.
I earned my culinary stripes as a teenager under the stewardship of Rick Stein, and my career spanned 17 years across the restaurant group. I rose to Head Chef and set up Stein’s Cookery School in Padstow, where I served as a senior lecturer and course curator for 8 years.
If I’m not cooking up a storm for your event, you might spot me on the shoreline foraging for mussels, kayaking with my kids, or down at the Fat Hen running a workshop for fellow lovers of wild food. I’m also a regular contributor to radio and TV on food sustainability and provide consultancy services to restaurant owners throughout the country.
