Top notch food and service - can't ask for more!
In summary, Milkshed were very professional, friendly, detail orientated and their food was incredible!
We booked Milkshed to not only do the wedding breakfast but also a brunch the following day and a BBQ down at the Yacht club.
After securing them, Katie familiarised herself with the venue and put together a clear function sheet for me to work on during the planning. The menu we requested was bespoke to us and our food preferences which we were so pleased we could do. We are BIG foodies so we wanted to recreate some of our favourite meals for our guests to enjoy with us and with Milkshed's suggestions they came up trumps - I wish I could eat it all again :(.
We took full advantage of the food tasting and even stayed in their accommodation which was SUCH a lovely experience - I would highly recommend to couples looking to have some special time away for just the two of you to talk all things wedding planning :).
During the tasting we had the opportunity to make any minor tweaks to our dishes and run through the logistics of the weekend and in the lead up to the weekend, no detail was left unturned. The Milkshed team went above and beyond our expectations in ensuring they delivered for us.
At the weekend they were so good in just arriving and getting on with what they needed to do without bothering or worrying us. The food was cooked to perfection and the services was super slick. They even had the trouble with working around the venues powercut for breakfast the following day but with only a slight delay they were unfaultered - I didn't have to worry about a thing. They also had no issue setting up the BBQ down at the Yacht club which I expect was logistically challenging.
We are honestly so thankful to Katie, Mark and the team for everything they did for us for our wedding weekend. They truly helped to make it feel so special and perfect for us. They genuinely care about delivering good food and service which is so pivotal at a wedding. They also care about working well with other suppliers which helps to make the day feel less stressful and more meaningful. Thank you so so much for being absolutely incredible - I can't wait to work with you again! xx
