It's hard to summarise just how amazing Blackberry and Bay are but in essence, they were the highlight of our entire wedding! It's been a month and guests are still talking about how phenomenal the food and service was. We wish we could do it all again, so that we can experience their food again!! From the beginning, their communication could not have been better. They are extremely reliable and dependable. Food tastings were out of this world. They were very thoughtful with making a back up tasting plan when my partner was unable to attend the first date. In the run up to the wedding, we really appreciated their reliable communication and attention to detail. During the wedding, they were incredible. Food was SO delicious, flavoursome and creative. Portions were absolutely perfect - every single person was full and talking about how incredible the food was. And their service was spot on - so well coordinated and rapid. We have already had one set of friends book them in for their wedding next year, and multiple other friends are asking about them. My "foodie" father in law even emailed them afterwards to ask for recipes! We can't recommend them enough - what a truly exceptional team! We may be a bit biased, but we genuinely think this is the best wedding food we have ever had and many guests said exactly the same.

From our first communications to the final clear up, James and Anastasia from Blackberry and Bay made the catering for our wedding a stress free experience. The planning was organised and professional, the tasting was an event in itself and the food was outstanding. We received lots of compliments. They managed multiple dietary preferences and last minute changes with ease. On the day, the whole serving team were lovely and helpful.
Was it value for money?, I don’t actually know, i just wanted excellent food, an easy team to work with and a happy day and they delivered all of this. I would use them again tomorrow.

Blackberry and Bay were outstanding and really went above and beyond to make our wedding the most special day. We came to them wanting an Italian themed wedding, with a specific starter, in mind. They were not only accommodating but enthusiastic about the challenge! The food was incredible, with many guests saying it was the best wedding food they'd ever had and we couldn't have agreed more. The service staff and bar staff sourced were absolutely lovely and professional. They're clean up of the kitchen and tables was incredibly helpful, especially given the dry hire which meant we could just enjoy the day.

We got a number of quotes before going with BlackBerry and Bay caterers. We came across them through friends who used them for their wedding, they did a stellar job for both.

What we organised with B&B:
165 people canapés and wedding breakfast
200 people evening food + bar
150 next day bbq

They not only were the hugely open to the asks we had, but seemed genuinely excited about it. For example we wanted to use the family farm meat and show it off as much as possible. We couldn’t have asked for better.

The lead up was stress free, very laid back, friendly, and responsive. They organised the crockery hire for us. They knew where all the food came from, and gave us stories of various recipes. It was also really important to us to avoid food waste and managed to re use food from the day before for the bbq in interesting ways that meant no drop in quality.
On the day we had big issues with a generator not working and they pulled the whole thing out the bag, and you wouldn’t have had a clue!

Our guests were so impressed, we haven’t stopped hearing about how great the food was and how great they were on the day.

We cannot recommend Blackberry & Bay highly enough following our Valentine’s Day wedding.

From our very first conversation, working with Anastasia and James was an absolute delight. As a married couple, they brought not only expertise but genuine warmth and care to every stage of the process. They collaborated with us to create a delicious three-course, French-inspired menu that celebrated beautiful seasonal ingredients — including pheasant, venison, and Jerusalem artichokes — all prepared and presented exquisitely.

On the day itself, Anastasia worked her magic in the onsite kitchen, while James and his wonderful front-of-house team, including Laurie, transformed our Victorian chapel into a beautifully dressed and inviting space for our wedding breakfast. Returning from cocktails to such a warm welcome and stunning setting was truly special.

The food was exceptional, and so many of our guests commented on the quality, flavour, and presentation of every course. Just as importantly, the service was seamless, professional, and thoughtful throughout.

From the initial discussions to the final moments of the evening, we had complete confidence that we had chosen the right team — and the experience on the day, along with the glowing feedback from our guests, only confirmed that feeling.

We could not have asked for a better caterer for our wedding! Anastasia and James were absolutely fantastic both in the lead up and during our wedding. They arranged regular zoom calls with us to discuss the menu, were flexible with our ideas and changing plans and catered to all of our guests dietary requirements and needs! They provided a tasting day where we were able to sample copious amounts of their wonderful freshly cooked food, in a really relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The food on our wedding day was plentiful and delicious! Our guests have not stopped complimenting us since, stating that it was the 'best food they have eaten at a wedding.' The canapé desserts in particular were incredible. The service was also amazing, nothing was too much, even with our last minute changes!

I tried these amazing salads at Bristol
Fashion show where I modelled and I must say it was one of the most delicious food I’ve ever ate and it’s healthy one! It was 10/10 and simply amazing! Fresh, tasty, juicy. with lots of flavours, the humus was great, I even don’t know which salad was my favourite one! I definitely recommend Blackberry & Bay catering for any event and you won’t regret!
