I honestly couldn’t recommend Joanna enough! She was absolutely incredible from start to finish and made me and my bridal team feel so amazing and confident. She went above and beyond to make the whole morning feel seamless, relaxed and completely stress-free. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and her makeup skills are honestly insane! Joanna was incredible from start to finish!
I booked her quite early on in my wedding planning and she was so lovely from the very beginning. She always very fast at responding to enquires and giving a quote
for myself and my bridal party.
When I went for my trial, she was amazing at working with them level of makeup I wanted.
I am not the most confident of people so I wasn’t comfortable with heavy/stand out makeup. Some how Joanna made me feel like a princess while making sure I still looked like me.
Her communication other lead up to the wedding was spot on. Always responding to messages quickly and even sent a ‘piece of mind’ message the day before confirming times of arrival in the morning.

On the wedding day Joanna was incredible, all the bridesmaids looked amazing all day.
She was more than a MUA she was more like an additional bridesmaid, hyping us up and claiming me down when i got overwhelmed. She was constantly reassuring me that i looked amazing when i was feeling self conscious.

In short Joanna is more than just an amazing MUA she is a hype girl, a problem solver, a calming influence and a talent that made a very self conscious bride feel like a princess!
I cannot recommend Joanna enough, I have never felt more amazing than i did on my wedding day and she was a huge part of that!

Joanna was an absolutely amazing makeup artist. From the moment she arrived, she made me feel completely at ease and was my personal hype crew throughout the whole morning while we were getting ready.

She did both my makeup and my Maid of Honour’s, and we were so happy with the results. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she was also on hand to help with anything else we needed throughout the morning, which was such a lovely touch and really helped keep everything calm and stress-free.

From the trial, to my wedding day, Joanna made me feel so comfortable. For someone who doesn’t wear make up, I wasn’t really sure what I wanted but straight away Joanna knew exactly what to do! Her expertise and knowledge on make up was incredible, she made me feel so beautiful and my make up lasted all day (I didn’t want to take it off!). She is so friendly and approachable. On my wedding morning Joanna helped me to relax and kept the bridal suite so calm, she helped me into my wedding dress and topped me up with make up just before I walked down the aisle. I had been referred to Joanna by my photographer for our wedding and it was one of the best choices I have ever made!
I am not one who wears make-up or knows what product to apply and I wanted to be comfortable with myself on my wedding day. Joanna was brilliant with understanding how too much make-up would effect my confidence and applied very gentle light tones & shades of make-up. Joanna made sure that with every step of the way I was comfortable and If was not, she was more than happy to change or alter it.
Joanna has such a kind, bubbly and warm personality, which helped me massively with feeling comfortable with myself on my wedding day. Nothing was too much for Joanna, she paid attention to little details and did not treat me like another client. She was happy for me to text her, when I had concerns or needed advice on skin care. She paid attention to the little details, especially because my mum was undergoing chemotherapy at the time of our make-up trial. Joanna treated my mum with such dignity and respect and gave my mum the confidence boost she needed as well.
Joanna did an amazing job with mine, my mums and 2 bridal party make-up on my wedding day. Joanna was so efficient and even had time to help us out with our dresses and jewellery. Even when I had a wobble prior to walking down the aisle, Joanna spoke such kind words to me that made all my anxieties and nerves disappear. Joanna is such a kind soul and a truly talented person.

I had an amazing experience with Jo from start to finish. She welcomed me and my family into her beautiful home for the trial, where she was so friendly, professional, and thoughtful. She really took the time to understand how worried I was about making sure my makeup looked natural and suited my Asian skin tone, and she completely put me at ease. Her communication throughout was fantastic, and her easy payment schedule made everything so simple and stress-free.
On our wedding day, Jo brought my vision to life perfectly! The morning getting ready with my bridesmaids, Jo, and Lou (my hairstylist) was so relaxed and lovely—it honestly felt like a group of friends getting ready together rather than my wedding morning. Jo is incredibly creative, calm, and so much fun to be around, which made the whole experience even more special. After the dad reveal, my makeup needed more than a little rescue—Jo’s face was hilarious when she saw me, but she fixed everything in less than 10 minutes. A total magician! I couldn’t recommend her more—she’s incredibly talented and a wonderful presence to have around whilst you’re getting ready on your special day.

I am so glad I chose Joanna to be my make up artist. She communicated with me throughout my planning process, made sure I was happy during my makeup trial, and made my wedding day so calm. She made myself and my bridesmaids feel incrediblely beautiful, listening to each of us and making sure our makeup matched are own unique style and beauty. Joanna has such a kind and calming presence, I wouldn't of wanted anyone else helping me on my special day. She noticed straight away when i was getting overwhelmed and made sure I was moved to a calm environment, before fetching me anything I needed. I cannot emphasise enough how incredible Joanna is. Joanna did my wedding make up as well as the bridal party and she exceeded all my expectations. We had people in the group that didn’t wear make up and those that like to get dolled up and everywhere in between but Joanna created a beautiful look to suit each individual person, it wasn’t a one size fits all, she took her time, listened to us all and made us all feel beautiful. I felt like a princess all day. My wedding was on an exceptionally hot day but come the end of the night, my make up was still in place. There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful Joanna was on both my wedding day and in the lead up. I feel so grateful to have her a part of our wedding. From the trial where she patiently spent time getting the right look with me, to the lead-up often sending me reassuring texts to check I was OK, right through to the wedding day, where she was so calm and patient through the morning, not only staying back to touch up my make-up after a few emotional tears, but she then helped us all get out the door and down the aisle, taking pictures for us as we went. She went above and beyond.
