An absolute angel of a makeup artist!
I had an amazing experience with Jo from start to finish. She welcomed me and my family into her beautiful home for the trial, where she was so friendly, professional, and thoughtful. She really took the time to understand how worried I was about making sure my makeup looked natural and suited my Asian skin tone, and she completely put me at ease. Her communication throughout was fantastic, and her easy payment schedule made everything so simple and stress-free.
On our wedding day, Jo brought my vision to life perfectly! The morning getting ready with my bridesmaids, Jo, and Lou (my hairstylist) was so relaxed and lovely—it honestly felt like a group of friends getting ready together rather than my wedding morning. Jo is incredibly creative, calm, and so much fun to be around, which made the whole experience even more special. After the dad reveal, my makeup needed more than a little rescue—Jo’s face was hilarious when she saw me, but she fixed everything in less than 10 minutes. A total magician! I couldn’t recommend her more—she’s incredibly talented and a wonderful presence to have around whilst you’re getting ready on your special day.

I am so glad I chose Joanna to be my make up artist. She communicated with me throughout my planning process, made sure I was happy during my makeup trial, and made my wedding day so calm. She made myself and my bridesmaids feel incrediblely beautiful, listening to each of us and making sure our makeup matched are own unique style and beauty. Joanna has such a kind and calming presence, I wouldn't of wanted anyone else helping me on my special day. She noticed straight away when i was getting overwhelmed and made sure I was moved to a calm environment, before fetching me anything I needed. She even sang a song for one of the children when they were feeling sad during photos. Joanna really cares about the brides she works with, and it shows in everything she does. I honestly cannot recommend Joanna highly enough! She was absolutely amazing from start to finish, she made myself and all the girls feel so comfortable and helped with all the other little touches to make the wedding day run smoothly and feel really special. I cannot emphasise enough how incredible Joanna is. Joanna did my wedding make up as well as the bridal party and she exceeded all my expectations. We had people in the group that didn’t wear make up and those that like to get dolled up and everywhere in between but Joanna created a beautiful look to suit each individual person, it wasn’t a one size fits all, she took her time, listened to us all and made us all feel beautiful. I felt like a princess all day. My wedding was on an exceptionally hot day but come the end of the night, my make up was still in place. Joanna has been incredibly professional from the initial enquiry up until the end of the wedding and has just been everything you’d wish for in a make up artist and more. Joanna was wonderful. Her calmness is just what a nervous bride needs!!! She sensed my nerves and made me feel like I had nothing to worry about. From my trial to the big day, Joanna was there whenever I needed her. She made me feel so beautiful. Honestly, just the best person to have around you on your wedding morning. The very best
There aren’t enough words to describe how wonderful Joanna was on both my wedding day and in the lead up. I feel so grateful to have her a part of our wedding. From the trial where she patiently spent time getting the right look with me, to the lead-up often sending me reassuring texts to check I was OK, right through to the wedding day, where she was so calm and patient through the morning, not only staying back to touch up my make-up after a few emotional tears, but she then helped us all get out the door and down the aisle, taking pictures for us as we went. She went above and beyond.
Joanna is brilliant at what she does, and the entire bridal party spent the morning calling her a magician, such is her talent as a make-up artist. But more than that, Joanna is calm, supportive, kind, and really helped to settle my nerves when she could see they were getting the better of me - she genuinely cares about her brides and wants them to feel amazing. I couldn’t feel more grateful to have had Joanna as my make-up artist for my wedding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone. Thank you Joanna for all you did.

You will have no regrets booking Joanna!
From my first contact with Joanna, I was felt to be special and not just “ another enquiry”
Joanna was so thoughtful and kind. She took the time to listen to my bridal team during the makeup trial, which really mattered as the age range was from 32 to 92!
I still wanted to look like myself in my wedding day but an enhanced version of myself and Joanna definitely hit the brief!
On the day of our wedding, Joanna was so calm and took the time to chat to everyone and enjoy the morning together. She was also great helping me when I was getting ready which on a practical level, was just great!
I am already thinking of lots of other events I am going to book Joanna for as she had a huge talent and I need her in my life lol!

I am so happy I chose Joanna to do our make up on our wedding. Not only did her make up make us all feel a million dollars, she is the kindest person and had the best calming influence. I had no sleep the night before and she just told me to relax whilst having my make up done and it was the quiet relaxing hour I needed before walking down the aisle!
