Hello & Welcome...
My name is Sally-Kate, founder of Hair by Duboux. I am a freelance hair stylist & wig maker, covering bridal hair, red carpet events, Christmas parties and more. I live in Essex with my partner and cover London & surrounding areas. I am a lover of travel and have worked in many destinations across, Europe, America and Asia so if your wedding falls into the destination cateogory please drop me a mesage.
I am very fortunate to be able to say I love what I do. My dad always said if you find a job you love, you wont have to work a day in your life and that sentiment rings true almost fifteen years later. I started my hair journey in North London as a postiche wig maker for Film, Theatre & Television. Despite the ocasional wig here and there, my career has progressed more into the weding industry where I offer a bespoke service tailored to your every want and need.
I love to see your wedding mood boards and to discuss in detail your hair vision. Communication is the key to a happy relationship and ours is no different. A trial is vital within the process of finding what style compliments you, works with your personality, and brings you and your partners wedding style together.
I look forward to making your hair dreams come true

My Wedding day
Sally did my hair for my wedding last year along with my gorgeous 7 bridesmaids. As you can imagine that was no easy task trying to make sure we all were satisfied.Sent on 10/11/2019
Sally did a great job for myself and my bridesmaids.
My hair lasted the whole day.
I had a couple of hair trials with sally and was worried my fine mixed race hair type would be a challenge.
However I was wrong , Sally put my mind at ease and was able to produce the look I wanted. Which I have to admit changed half way through the process.
Sally was organised and professional. She came to the venue were I was staying and getting married at the night before and set up everything ready for the morning.
Which put my mind at ease as I love order.
Sally arrived early and on time and really did add to making my day a day to remember.
Thank you again Sally xx
Mother of the Bride
Sal had her work cut out on the morning of my daughter's wedding. Six adult bridesmaids, the bride and me!Sent on 05/11/2019
The wedding was at 1pm, so Sal had to start very early to ensure that everybody's hair was styled by around noon, she really had her work cut out.
I had no real idea of how I wanted my hair, but I did know that I didn't want to look 'Mumsy". When my turn came I was armed with a picture, a load of pretty hair grips and doubts that anyone could make my hair look pretty - it's very straight and very thick, styles just never lasted very long. How wrong I was! In no time at all Sal had my hair looking gorgeous. As Mother of the Bride I wanted to look great and (if I may say so myself) my hair did indeed look great and more importantly I felt great!
Fast forward to midnight when I got back to the hotel after the wedding, my hair looked as good as it did when first done, despite plenty of dance floor activity!
However not forgetting the magnificent seven, each of the six bridesmaids had their own idea about how they wanted they hair and each one had a different style, but what they all had in common is that each one looked stunning.
Lastly, my daughter, the bride - her hair was the final touch that made her a truly beautiful bride.
