Fai Archer Hair and Makeup is a high end beauty business based in the South East London area of England. With over 15 years of experience in the industry, Fai is passionate about creating flawless looks that are natural but striking and specialises in both hair and makeup. Fai likes to apply makeup to reflect each inidividuals personality and has lots of experience with different skin tones and etnicities. Having worked on TV shows such as Love Island and the X Factor, she is skilled at producing high-quality and long-lasting beauty styles. Her services also include hairdressing, microblading, lash lifts, lash tints and HD brows for a one stop beauty shop!
Services Offered
Fai begins each service with a consultation via email. That way, she can get to know you personally and understand your vision for your big day. If interested in any other beauty or hair services a timeline of treatments can be made for you to take any stress off your hands. A trial is extremely important and this is when all the wedding day details will be discussed and finalised and any patch tests can be carried out for the other treatments. Bride only beauty packages are available via her website.

Perfect for wedding
Fai and Jo were wonderful, making the entire bridal party look their best on the wedding day! Fai communicated well and was very personable. I highly recommend her—she's a darling with fantastic skills.

Fai is so talented, and a beautiful person. Just want to say a huge thank you for being there on our special day. The make up trial was great, I went to her studio, and we went through what we could do. In the end, I changed what I wanted on the day, instead of foundation, we would use concealer, and instead of hair up, it would be down. I don't usually wear make up, so wasn't sure what I wanted, and I wasn't used to the feel of foundation, so I am very glad for the trial. I felt very beautiful with the makeup, but also I felt like 'me' as well. I highly recommend Fai's expertise, she also has a very diverse portfolio. I would love to get some makeup lessons.

Friendly, flexibly and just so talented
I was really anxious about getting my hair and makeup done for my wedding, its not something I've ever done before but Fai was just so friendly and approachable, she was so flexible with the makeup if I changed my mind or had any tweaks I wanted to make. I felt so beautiful on my wedding day and its all thanks to her beautiful skill and for making me feel so comfortable.

Large wedding group - all perfect
We were a large group of: 5 bridesmaids (of different nationalities), a bride, a flower girl and mother of the bride, and every single one of us loved our hair and make up. I had the most amazing wedding, I was worried that it would start looking dry or cakey around my t-zone but it remained perfect (even when I woke the next morning). And I changed how I wanted my hair 3 days before and it was no stress at all. Fai also dyed and cut my hair before the wedding. I would recommend her to everyone! And for London, her prices are incredibly good.

Me but elevated
I absolutely loved having Fai do my hair and make up, I felt like myself but elevated which was exactly what I wanted. I never wear my hair up but when I tried on my wedding dress I felt like I needed it up but just worried I wouldn’t feel confident. Fai was so lovely I got on with her so well, she made me feel absolutely gorgeous and all of my braids maids looked so stunning with a soft glam look

Fai created some serious magic for mine and my bridal party’s hair.
I’m so happy that I was lucky enough to book Fai for my bridal hair! I honestly couldn’t be happier with how mine and my bridesmaids’ hair turned out. She was also such a pleasure to have around too. Added bonus! :D

Excellent bridal hair & makeup
I’d highly recommend booking Fai. Fai did a superb job for my hair and makeup for my wedding, as well as my mum’s hair and makeup. I was delighted with how it turned out. The hair and makeup lasted all day! Both looked great for the whole 12 hours. I love Fai’s style which is to create a look you’re comfortable with so you still feel like yourself.
To find someone who excels in both hairstyling and makeup isn’t easy. The fact Fai did both made the trial and the day much easier to plan. Fai is warm and friendly and a pleasure to be around. Thanks so much, Fai!

Would highly recommend!
Fai did the hair and make up for my mother and bridemaid. Plus my bridal hair and make up and a flower girls hair. She was absolutely FANTASTIC. At the trial she really listened to what I wanted, liked and then was able to share what would work and wouldn’t! On the morning, she turned up on time, raring to go, calm and put us all at total ease. We all were so delighted with her work- she’s brilliant at what she does. My hair and make up were perfect- I have never felt so happy with my look and everyone raved at how lovely I looked. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending Fai - she will make you and your bridal party look and feel AMAZING!

Couldn't recommend enough
Fai was fantastic, she kept everyone calm and at no point did she rush anyone despite us running a little late. Her presence was such a relaxing addition to the day. Couldn't recommend her enough.

Fai was amazing, not just the hair and make-up but she is just the kind of person you need around the morning of your wedding. My mum and I, were put so at ease with her, she even stepped in at short notice to do the hair of my bridesmaid.
I cant reccommend Fai enough. My makeup and hair looked beautiful and photographed fantasically. My hair even held up with (sideways) rain and wind on the albert bridge.

Absolutely incredible!
Fai was just absolutely amazing! Can’t recommend her highly enough, so professional from start to finish and honestly felt like part of the family trying to help me calm down before my big day! Make up looked absolutely stunning I felt so confident and it held the entire night. Friendly, professional and just incredible make up. Would highly recommend if you want to have someone awesome make you feel beautiful for any occasion but especially your big day!

Amazing hair and makeup
I’m so happy that I chose Fai as my bridal hair and makeup artist.
She was quick to respond and easy to communicate with from beginning to end. Despite multiple road closures, tube and train strikes on our Wedding day, Fai still managed to arrive early to set up for the morning!
Fai has a very calming energy and really helped to make the wedding morning feel both relaxed and enjoyable. I completely loved my hair and makeup and I still felt like myself, just a more glamorous version! My sister and mum were so pleased with the results of their hair and makeup too.
