HDB is a 5x award-winning freelance hair and makeup artist operating out of South Somerset, serving clients throughout the United Kingdom and abroad. Her genuine care for her clients and her passion for inclusivity, combined with her extensive experience across the industry is what sets her apart. Plus - she's the ONLY artist in the westcountry to win the coveted Hitched Award all five times! Covering Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Wiltshire, Cornwall and further afield on request.
Hayley is an experienced individual who graduated from the prestigious Delamar Academy, London. Since then, she has worked with Urban Retreat, Harrods, Marco Marco, Paul Mitchell, Browns, DAKS, and many more. Her work has also featured in many magazines including Brides Magazine, DNA Australia, Tatler and Dorset Magazine. As a freelance artist, Hayley loves to create one-of-a-kind, styles that showcase her clients’ natural beauty.
Services Offered - make up, hair, skincare and haircare advice.
Most services by Hayley De Beers begin with skincare or haircare consultations. These are not mandatory but come recommended and are part of the package, so she can get your skin and hair looking its best before any makeup or styling is applied (she is not affiliated with any brands, so don't worry - this is not a sales oppotunity!)
Hayley loves to hear about your ideas so she can combine them with her expertise for a beautiful overall style. She only uses top-of-the-range products (cruelty free, and vegan where possible) to ensure that you look stunning until bedtime... Some people even wear their make up and hair through the next day! On the day of your wedding or event, this artist comes to your location. This leaves you plenty of time relax and look forward to your special day, while spending time with your nearest and dearest.

Once you have secured your date with a deposit, you can split the total amount into managable instalments to suit you. No interest, no massive payments!

What is included in the wedding package?
Bridal make up and hair includes all your products, lashes (if you want them), hair pins etc. I only use top quality products and try to use cruelty free and/or vegan where possible
How far in advance should I contact you?
Up to two years but I can sometimes help with short notice!
Do you work at homes?
Yes
What is the charge for travelling?
I usually charge an hourly rate for travel, as full costs are ever changing! If it’s a large group, some of this can be negotiated
What is your main business area?

Could you stay with the bride until the photo shoot?
Yes
How many people can you beautify for one wedding?
It depends on what each person would like, hair or make up wise, plus their hair length and thickness. I work very quickly, having done so much studio and session work so can do more than most!
Can you provide your beauty services for pre-wedding and post-wedding photography?
Yes
What are the forms of payment?
BACS is easier for me, but cash on the day is OK too, and usually easier for International clients. There will be a deposit to secure your date. Payment plans available

Absolute actual legend
I don't even have enough words to describe how amazing Hayley was and is from start to finish. For someone who had no idea what to do and how to look she completely made me and my bridesmaids (mostly me but also everyone) feel completely comfortable and I had complete trust in her from the minute we started talking! So easy and fun and effortlessly amazing. Can't thank you enough!!!!!!!

We absolutely loved having Hayley as part of our wedding morning! 🤍
From the moment she arrived, Hayley was so friendly and warm, she made every single one of us feel completely comfortable and at ease. She fit in perfectly with our relaxed morning and It was so lovely to be able to sit and chat with her whilst she worked her magic.
Most importantly, every single one of us felt beautiful and was so happy with our make-up. Hayley listened to what we wanted and made each of us feel like the best version of ourselves.

Amazing hair and makeup!
Hayley was fantastic right from the beginning. From our very first point of communication, Hayley was able to clear up any questions I had, provide information and book a trial run very quickly. Hayley did the hair and makeup for both myself and my mum for my small wedding. Neither of us had experienced this before and Hayley was amazing at taking our thoughts on board and at suggesting what would suit us. I was also very impressed with how the makeup she did held up in the 34 degree heat on my wedding day. Could not recommend Hayley enough - she’s amazing!!!

Very talented artist and great energy to have in the room!
Can’t recommend Hayley highly enough!! I booked her after being bridesmaid at another wedding and she just brought the most relaxed energy and incredible skill! I was so happy with my hair and make up and they lasted all day (including an open top car and a sea breeze!) I’m in awe of her talent- she was able to adapt to quickly to everyone’s requests and made us all feel great!!

Hayley is absolutely incredible
Hayley is not only incredibly talented, she's also such a great vibe - which is exactly what you want when you're getting ready for your wedding. She made all my bridesmaids and flower girls look gorgeous, and was super patient with the little ones, and I felt like an absolute queen.
Hayley is the most incredible make up artist and she also did such a fantastic job with my hair - which is unruly at the best of times. I loved working with her xxx

Hayley was absolutely fantastic, she is incredibly professional and you can tell she has a wealth of experience. Everyone’s makeup, and my hair, lasted all night (and into the next day…). Her natural style was just what I was looking for, and with 7 bridesmaids plus two mums, the quick makeup option was perfect for a relaxed morning getting ready as I’d heard horror stories of 5am starts!
Although we didn’t have time to do a trial, Hayley arranged a phone call with me to chat about what I wanted beforehand, and she arrived fully prepared on the day.
I would definitely go to Hayley if I need my hair or makeup done again, thank you so much!

Bath Wedding May 2026
Cannot praise Hayley enough! On a day where you naturally feel abot nervy, Hayley was fantastic at making me feel relaxed and excited. Whilst I was unable to have a trial a quick video call was all it took for Hayley to give me the perfect hair and makeup on the big day! I felt beautiful and the pictures were stunning, I cant thank her enough!

Wonderful Hayley!
Hayley was amazing start to finish. From our trial to the day, she made me feel at ease and the best version of myself. Honestly couldn’t recommend Hayley highly enough, cool calm and collected and it was the best start to my wedding day

Hayley is such an exceptionally talented make up and hair artist and you truly cannot get any better; she is truly beautiful inside and out and her ability to make you feel wonderful absolutely shines through.
As someone with shorter hair and a specific vision on how I wanted to look, Hayley listened and went above and beyond to give me my dream bridal look. I didn’t want to look like every other bride and Hayley delivers your individualised look based on both your own wishes and what will work well on your skin and hair to create an incredible look.
On the day of my wedding, I had a bit of a crisis and Hayley was calm, compassionate and very patient which is just what I needed. I cannot recommend her enough.

Dreamy Hair & Makeup for my special day
Hayley did a fantastic job at my Hair & Makeup for my Wedding in North Devon. I took advantage of the pre-wedding trail appointment with her to discuss my requirements and try out our plans which wired really well.
Hayley knew exactly what kind of makeup suited my skin tone plus she incorporated some of my own so I could keep my lips topped up when she wasn’t around later throughout the day and evening.
I had a rather heavy veil which Hayley managed to secure very well and it all stayed in place perfectly.

I don’t know where to begin! Hayley is incredibly approachable, warm, kind, lovely person both in person and over the phone, and she was an absolute pleasure to have as a part of our day. She was very reassuring and helped me massively in deciding on my final look as I was never certain or sure what to go with. Hayley was incredibly flexible with my trial booking, as she travelled all the way to London from the South West and was able to work around my crazy shift work schedule.
Now to the actual day, she arrived early, kept me calm, chilled as the time ticked down, and even helped me put on my shoes (which was a bit of a struggle in my dress). The look itself on the day was amazing, I felt incredible and it was exactly what I wanted. Hayley worked an absolute miracle on my hair, it’s normally flat as anything and it stayed put all day. My bridal party that Hayley had done various hair and make up on were nothing but complimentary regarding her work, including my MiL, who normally hates having her make up done by another person as it never meets her expectation, but she had the opposite experience when having her makeup done by Hayley.
If you’re thinking of booking Hayley as your HMUA, absolutely 1000% do it. There’s a reason why she’s booked up and wins so many awards. She is incredibly skilful at what she does but topping it off, she’s just a lovely person as well.

Exceptional!
Hayley was an absolute dream to work with! She instantly made us all feel comfortable and at ease, and she went above and beyond to make sure I and my bridal party felt beautiful and confident with our hair and makeup. Not only was she professional, but her warmth and friendliness truly made the morning so special. Communication was easy from start to finish, and I honestly couldn’t recommend Hayley enough, she’s incredible at what she does and such a joy to be around!
