I just wanted to say a huge thank you for Saturday. Not only did you make my hair look fabulous but you also really helped my bridesmaids and we all had a lovely morning.
Everyone told me how much they liked my hair, I felt beautiful.
I'll put a proper thank you card in the post soon but just wanted to say how blown away I was by my incredible make up and hair on my wedding day! It felt like a bit of a dream - I felt like a movie star and everyone kept showering me with compliments, even though I'd been averaging four hours sleep a night all week! You're a real miracle worker - I just can't thank you enough. Even more than that, the style was just what I'd hoped for - it was exactly what I'd pictured and complemented my dress beautifully.
Thank you also for being so wonderful to be around - you kept everyone calm and dealt with all the family dynamics so beautifully. I would have been so much more stressed otherwise! And both mums commented on how brilliant you were.
It's been so lovely chatting and getting to know you over the last few months.
It's not essential, but it is highly recommended! I have done a few weddings without trials before, and it does make the whole experience a bit more rushed. That's just not how I want you to feel on your wedding day! It also means I know what length and texture your hair is, how it holds a style. We can see how your skin is, and talk about. what steps you can take to get it into top condition in the run-up to the big day, and it means that if the make-up is likely to move around or smudge, we know and can make appropriate adjustments to the look.
Not usually, but it's perfectly OK if they want to, and if it's within your budget.
This depends on the size of your bridal party and the time at which you need to be ready. I work quite quickly compared to most artists, so can manage a reasonable amount people but if you're worried about it feeling rushed, or your ceremony is early in the day it may be best to have two or more artists to make sure everyone is ready in time and you feel relaxed.
I don't do semi permanent lashes, or extensions. I do do individual lashes for just the day, or strip lashes, and these are included in the price of your make up.
I can apply and style clip ins or a hair piece for the day, but I don't do bonds or weave. Clip in wefts and hair pieces need to be supplied by you, and its really helpful if you have them for the trial. Synthetic hair pieces will only work if they are in the style you want your hair on the day e.g. straight or curled.
