Niki was excellent from the trial to the wedding day. She is really easy to communicate and organise with. At the trail she was really lovely, listened to everything I said as well as my mum. I am not someone who wears a lot of makeup but Nikis makeup was so natural I still felt like myself!
On the wedding day she was very chilled, listened and chatted to all my bridemaids. My makeup on the day was exactly what I wanted and I couldn't have asked for anything better. She worked really well with our photographer and hair stylist.

I was so nervous to pick a make-up artist for my wedding as I've never had my make-up done before. However, Niki was so lovely and made me feel so at-ease from the first time I met her. I had a trial for myself and my sister and left feeling so fantastic that I knew I would book her for my wedding. On the day, Niki was calm and collected which was exactly what I needed. I found Niki really approachable, friendly, flexible and great at what she does!

I'm not big into heavy make-up up and was worried it would come across really 'put on' but Niki was really good at being able to not disguise my face - instead keeping its natural features. She was also able to work with brown skin tones brilliantly.

She was flexible and really professional with emails, too.

If you want a natural but pretty look I'd definitely recommend her!

Nikki is an amazing, very talented makeup and hair artist. She did an a brilliant job and was very responsive when I wanted things changed (e.g. asking for more hair to frame my face etc). She made my skin look flawless despite the fact i had a big spot and 4 hours of sleep the day before - would thoroughly recommend!

Niki was such a professional. We had a trail and listened to my requests - then with a change in what I wanted for the big day Niki adapted to my requests and did a fab job on my hair & makeup and a super job for my bridesmaids too. Niki is chatty & friendly making the trail less daunting and was slick & calm on the day!

I was lucky enough to have found Niki to do my bridal hair and makeup, and also my bridesmaid and mum. In the run up to the wedding, Niki always responded quickly to any emails, a real help when dealing with multiple suppliers. I had a test run with one of my bridesmaids, and she took copious notes. On the day she managed to perfectly replicate what she had done in the trial for me, and was completely un-phased when my bridesmaid decided she wanted to go for something different to her hair on the day. My other 2 bridesmaids and mum were not able to do a trial (coming from Mexico, New Zealand and Yokshire), and yet on the day Niki was able to discuss and quickly decide on what would suit each person and deliver it beautifully. On the day Niki was a delight to have as part of the team, keeping things calm and lighthearted. We were all over the moon with the results of Niki's hard work, and I felt incredible. All hair and make-up remained in place all the way through to the end of the night. Thank you so much Niki! In the trial she took time to listen to my preferences and made meticulous notes so ensure everything was captured for the day.

I really wanted a make up artist who could adapt and understand my skin. I had bridemaids who all had different skin tones/types too and Niki was so professional and accomodating. I'd 100% recommend her to any one and everyone. She's super cool under pressure but the quality of her work never dropped. It was lovely to have her with us on the morning of the wedding - can't thank her enough!

I booked Niki for my wedding on 4th May for myself, 3 bridesmaids and my mother. Niki turned up on time and kept on track with timings for the day. Her assistant arrived to help with hair for the bridesmaids and they were both absolutely lovely to work with. I had a trial a few months before and slightly changed my hair on the day - Niki had no issues with this and was helpful in making the changes last min. All of us were incredibly happy with our hair and makeup and would highly recommend her!

Niki was fantastic from start to finish! I was really nervous about having my make-up done for my wedding as I don't wear make-up normally but Niki was brilliant.
For the trial I went for very minimal and natural make-up and I was so happy with how it looked. Before the wedding my skin was breaking out a lot and I needed more make up than I initially thought I'd wear but Niki still made it look very natural while covering any unwanted marks on my skin. I felt so confident and beautiful on the day.
Niki's a great addition to the morning as she's so calm and friendly. She did some of my family's make-up and hair for the wedding and they all commented on how lovely she was.

Niki Lawrence came across as knowledgeable, experienced, reliable, and easy to work with, and these are the reasons why I chose her for the Big Day! I was very happy and satisfied with my wedding hair and make-up and highly recommend her.

Right from the start, Niki was responsive and very professional. Her website and social media presence provided me with a clear idea of her style, industry experience, work quality and personality. From the first time we communicated and throughout the process, she was friendly, thorough, and clear, while also acting as an advisor.

She explained the steps and timings as well as the expectations from me as the client, which helped with planning. We talked about hair and makeup products to be used so that I understood how they would work and help me achieve the look and impact I wanted.

I also appreciated how she asked for my input and preferences even before the trial session. To make sure we understood each other well, she asked me (and guests who were getting their hair and makeup done by Niki too) to share inspiration images and styles I liked for myself and for the wedding. During the trial at her lovely studio, she also asked about my experience with wearing makeup, what I was comfortable with in terms of styling, and what I liked and did not like. She took her cue from my ideas and wishes, and provided recommendations and options. If there was an aspect that might be a challenge (I wanted a bun but I didn’t realize my hair was not long enough) – she brought it up so that I am aware of it and more importantly, she offered suggestions on what can be done.

She also asked me for feedback several times, to ensure I was happy with the styling, to check if my hair and makeup lasted well after the trial (which they did), and to find out if there was anything I’d like to adjust or change.

On the day of the wedding, she was focused, working quickly and efficiently, while also helping to keep a happy and relaxed mood in the room by chatting with me and guests getting ready from time to time.

Niki also has a gentle hand and light touch so I felt relaxed and calm. The makeup looks natural, classy and tasteful. It did not feel heavy on my skin, and it lasted all day!

From her communication style, professionalism, responsiveness and technique, Niki gave me confidence knowing that I didn’t have to worry about hair and makeup during this special day. Thank you so much Niki!
